WOMYN is a intense book for an intense controversial issue like feminism and gender equality. This book is a daring attempt at confronting this issue. No one wants to talk about it but everyone must deal with it everyday. No question. This book dares to talk about it with beautiful poetry that harkens back to the days of Shakespeare. The book is original bold and daring. A quick read but full of meaning. The take home message for me from this book is that, as a womyn, I am a unique person, not an object to hit when a man gets upset at me or to sexually exploit against my will to satisfy his penis. And it only takes a gentleman, not a man, to recognise that. Hear that males of the world??? Gentlemen, not men. That's what all womyn of the world want! Certainly not men who condone domestic violence and not men who practice obvious and subtle forms of gender discrimination!

This book was beautiful. The main character, 'womyn', shows she is a no-nonsense figure. The other character, 'man', cannot fool her. Excellent work!
