Hot, hot, hot!

Alpha male and strong female lead…what happens when the two come head to head? I loved the ending. It left a lot to be imagined, but was nice and satisfying too.

Negotiations is the second standalone short story in the Close Contact series.

I really enjoyed this story! It's a nice, hot, fast read! It gets to the good stuff quick. I liked what we got about the characters and their interaction with each other before the clothes starting coming off. This is a short, to the point story. It can easily be read in about 30 minutes so great for a lunch break or if you are looking to occupy a short period of time. It's not in depth but I didn't need it to be. It had everything it needed. Nothing overly complicated is brought up so you aren't left hanging with anything. It's explicit and hot and it fits what the story is set up as. Overall, I enjoyed the story!

Again the rate and tease except this one was rather spicier in this Close Contact Shorts. This, as all Megan's books, grabs your attention, tickles the naughty and has you panting my only complaint is it like a wham bam over to quick and you ready for round 2.

Writing style you cannot fault.
I love my girl's style and I say so every time. The weave of the characters are great allowing you to form a 3D picture of them within a few pen strokes.
It's just it's over too quick, so definitely the signs of a "my fav shelf author".

No Negotiation can fully quench this burning passion

Beautiful intensity and controlled emotion that war against the chaos of heated anger, passion that no negotiation can fully quench this sexy rooftop encounter. If this was a moment that could be stretched into a full book... this would be the Close Contact short I’d choose to develop further into a book. Paige and Donovan capture? No, they demand your attention and make your sizzle. It’s a fabulous premise for a stand alone book or a series!

Sexy and hot read that will most up your glasses! Good thing I don’t have any.....phew😀 Paige is on a mission to rip the hostage rescue teams leader a new one, when she is suddenly distracted by him. Donovan has had a thing for Paige for a while and he wants her under him, in business and in pleasure!

Another quick read to heat up your afternoon. I'm enjoying this series for it's fulfilling short stories that leave your appetite whet and ready for more. Paige and Donovan deliver just the right amount of steam. These stories also make a great introduction to the style of work Mitcham delivers.

4 stars. Although these are very short stories it doesn't leave you feeling cheated but rather satisfied. The story is basically one scene but it is Hot! and the ending leaves you satisfied that H/h life story is just beginning. Recommended short story read.
