This book helps give Christianity a wider picture than the typical preaching types, and a much wider perception of the world itself. If you think evolution and other "scientific" theories pose a serious challenge to faith in the bible, you should read this, and you'll think more than twice. And do not doubt that it will restore faith for those who want to.
