Hunter is a six foot five athletic cattle ranch owner. He's a player. Miranda is a five foot three girl who has no self esteem. Plus she's never had an orgasm. So when these two first meet Hunter didn't even get her name or number. Well the next day he bumps into her at a country market. So when they run into a after party the same night either can keep their eyes or hands off each other. When Hunter goes into a company to sell his Angus beef guess who the assistant is? Great read cannot wait to read next installment of this story.

Hopeful
There are things I like about this book. I love a lot of dialog between characters and there is plenty of that. I like hot, alpha males and strong female characters so we're good there. And of course I love a steamy, smoking hot sex scene which we get a good promising start in this book. I'm only giving 3 stars because as much as I like for the characters to talk to each other, these people talk too much! They talk past the point of the topic being interesting. I found this to be true for every conversation except for the one Hunter and Miranda had at the farmers market. That was good, interesting dialogue. Also, while I like Miranda, Hunter is coming off as kind of a d bag. For that matter, pretty much all the male characters are. It's hard for me to like Hunter when every thought in his head is about getting this woman into bed. I know that that's exactly what his goal is but I feel like there's nothing else that he wants from her. I need for him to be more invested in a relationship with her and for the writing to portray his interest in her for more than just sex. This is just the first book in the series so I'm hoping for "more" from his character in upcoming books.

Not what I expected/hoped for
I love Hunter. Miranda is a bit flat to me. The story is not as quick moving as past books by this author The hot ,steamy,panty melting, cartwheels off the dresser, hanging from the ceiling fan, shave the squirrel and grab the mayonnaise sex isn't there....yet. I'm curious to see where this story takes us. I know it will be an adventure. Hunter definitely needs to be shirtless more! A body like that needs to be admired.

Colorado to LA. Miranda and hunter are perfect. Sweet and connecting relationship story. It’s not to fast it just right. They are getting to know one another. So far I love it. Can’t wait to read the rest of there story.

Hunter sure has a wild week in LA when he comes to visit the Dennison brothers. A chance meeting with a beauty three times in a row – or maybe that should be four? Fate clearly wants them together so lets see how it all plays out.
Lets just say when Hunter reconnects with the Dennison brothers’ things are going to get crazy wild. Talk about playboys, but holy hell are they hot and they know it too. The morning after one of these crazy nights turns out to be the start of a series of serendipity events that keep pulling him and Miranda back together. First time he meets her is at a cafe for breakfast, then next morning at a farmers market by bumping into her and then at an after party following a fashion show. Lets just say when he sees her again he takes every effort to have some alone time. Time she’s not complaining about with the sounds she makes. His hands, fingers and tongue should be considered weapons. Using them on you will turn you into a dizzying mess too high on passion to care about who might be able hear you.
Holy hell how hot is the chemistry between these two! Seems fate really wants them together but I’m not sure on what Hunters first reaction is going to be at the start of the next book. Could be the start of a wild adventure or a trip down a crazy road. Good steamy read
The book was a quick read but pretty abrupt ending for me for someone else the cliffhanger might have been awesome to me i gound it more annoying. The characters are likeable and have a great chemistry but I was a little thrown off my Nick's dialogue sometimes. At one point he sounds very alpha male and then the next he sounds feminine, it doesn't seem like that was the intention and distracted from his alpha image. I'll say overall, Nick and Miranda story is quite interesting and steamy and worth the read.
The final score this is more 3.5 stars.

I was so excited that Hunter received his own story after Allison ended up with Jake only in the Billionaires’ Indulgence series. Hunter is my Powerball! I absolutely love him and Miranda together and only hope that their connection takes off! When they hook up at the gala and she asks, “What about you?” with his response, “Sweetheart, this is all about you!” who wouldn’t want a man that takes care of the woman first knowing in the end, he will get his just reward! These two click so well together with their quirky dialogue and open flirtation. Looking forward to book 2 and seeing if these two get their HEA or burst into flames!

Waiting for the next book.
Normally I don't read serial stories because I have a long tbr list. I often don't read a second part for months. When I do get around to reading #2 I have to skim over the first book to get back into the story. Even so I decided to read this book because the title intrigued me. I enjoyed the enormously, the way both Hunter and Miranda are so caught up in each is great. The interaction between them and their friends is hilarious. I laughed at their antics so many times. I would really like to read the next book and would recommend this story to anyone who doesn't mind serials.

This was a very intriguing start to what promises to be a HOT series. I truly enjoyed Miranda and her personality although her self doubting is very realistic and rings a certain bell with me I enjoyed the moments when she owned herself. I laughed at the girls description of the three types of men in LA and wholeheartedly agree as long as we expand the territory. What to say about Hunter .... Where can I find mine? I have always loved that name. Plus I would give almost anything toitoi be able to experience an earth shattering orgasm. Great read! I can't wait to find out what happens next.

I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. The characters were very interesting. There were so very sexual active men in this book. Which is some how like wow! They have a lot of stamina. Well any waybill hope Amanda and Hunter get together. I recommend this book to all romance readers.

Man, talk about a hot read. Miranda is finally getting all that she's worked for...and met a hot guy to boot. The way they interact is refreshing and even though he's known as a player, he's taken by her and can't stop thinking about her. Cannot wait to read the rest of this series.

This is a story in several volumes. After reading volume 1 I have no interest in reading the rest.
The characters have no substance, the hero is a douchebag and so are his friends. The heroin has no personality and the plot falls flat. I felt like watching an episode of The Kardashians with porn.

Miranda used to work 4 jobs and now she is down to one when hunter is trying to catch a deal at the food network. He humps into Miranda and it is the end. Was just a little weird ending!

This is the first book by Scarlett Avery that I have read....I have stopped after part 1 to read the series that introduces Hunter and Jake since this book series features Hunter. The storyline is pretty fast paced, has great banter between like able characters...Collin is such a tool (but he cracks me up!) and it makes me want to read Part 2. Scarlett....you have me hooked!!

I enjoyed the series Billionaire's indulgence and now it is fun to read Hunter's story. Miranda and Hunter are super steamy, but so sweet as well. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the story

I have been wanting to find out about Hunter, after becoming acquainted with him in another series. Love him. Too bad there's not many like him in the real world. This is most definitely on my list of book to be recommended for others to read.
