"To reveal art and conceal the artist is art’s aim."

The title... is... intriguing enough... for people... who are... repeatedly... told that they... are abnormal. I am... not... talking... about... me. I was... just saying...

See, what I did there? I ruined a perfectly simple sentence into a series of god-knows-what.
Did the ellipsis bother only me?

Also, I thought it was only fiction. I don't get the psychology of it. Maybe it is beyond me.

Today everyone is facing such problems that lead them to depression because people have no one to talk to, about their problems. Writer has told us about the importance of psychologist by telling us about his client's case.

I like the briefing of terminologies & the last part which was Goals of psychologist.
I think it should be our goals not just a psychologist's goals.

It's a book which create hope in your mind. There's a dawn after darkness as well as we should be thankful to everyone in our even a person who came for a minute but leave a message or something for you. Simultaneously a very easy study of terminologies of psychology which we cannot understand after reading course books. If we have no interest in it. And a big thing is that like jasim! we have no idea how many jasim suffer due to this terrorism and lost their loved once which led them to revenge and most in the cases if Wazirastan where parents of children killed and the situstion led them towards suicide bombers. At this time world need psycho therapy to finish these acts of terrorism and drone attack!!

"Abnormal ki diary"
The book named deliberately abnormal ki dairy but it is written by the great psychiatrist in fact. The name catches the attention of everyone, it's like what could be the abnormal ki dairy, coz we know who are called abnormal ? Who can be abnormal and a great psychiatrist have written it but it is yet abnormal ? All these questions always arise by looking at the title of the book. Isn't guys ?
The same chaos I did have before reading it, i wanted to ascertain what could be the abnormal man ?
And finally I completed it. Firstly, Who is called abnormal?
Abnormal perspn who is indifferent from the other, or who couldn't function his mind properly or a mentally disordered person etc. There are many meaning everyone has about abnormal person.
But some abnormal people are those, who are so different than the ordinary people, who react differently, who deal differently, who act differently .
As a matter of fact, our society is very conservative, it can not bear any change, transformation or novelty in the surroundings. Society, means people and we people couldn't bear the differences, creations, diverse and multiple ways of living, divergent way of spending life. We believe in one reality and do not allow anyone to create any new reality. We made a circle and circle shouldn't be expanded, those who would endeavour they would be persecuted and punished. This book is the reflection of our society, of our people that what changes the society needs, but none heeds for it . Sabir Chodhry, the great psychiatrist of Pakistan. He is not writer professionally but he felt the extreme urge for this write up. He touched very sensitive and the significant issues of our society. He also elaborated very basic and important topics of our society.
He narrated his personal life what he have learnt how he have learnt ? Who had developed his learning and understanding ? The role of his family, the role of his job in his clients life. The he has described the psyche of the common people it is amazing. The most crucial topic "Love", he talked about it he talked the actual essence of love. Love is not the name of snatching it's the name of forgiving. Once you forgive the enemies of love you become eternal in the world. It's not about seizing it's about offering . The more you offer it the more it would be doubled. Revenge has no connection with love, taking revenge in love means destroying oneself, annihilating inner peace, hurting one's beloved. The true love teachers to cherish, to adore to forgive not to wreak. Love makes you enlightened As Rumi says, " through the wounds, light enters in you". Love functions the same it wounds you but enlightens you as well. Once the light of love burns you, you would be transformed in the candle shape, which can hurt itself but offer light to everyone else. In love of you couldn't burn yourself means you haven't reached the genuine door of love. Later on, he talked about abnormal, about disability .
What could be the disability ?
Those people who could not speak, walk, stand, or function the body as the common people do .. but what about those who couldn't speak about their dilemma about their depression , about the unstable relations about the misconceptions of life. Those people who think that they couldn't handle marriage after 10 years coz they couldn't deal their partner anymore after 10 years they couldn't understand them, could they even understand themselves? All these problems are dealt by the great psychiatrists.
Abnormal people, each human being is abnormal coz one day each and everyone fees up from life, from job or from any relation. Abnormal people do break their hearts they need to heal their hearts either by themselves or by the help of others. Once the pain makes hole for entering light in them some people could tolerate that extreme beacon and some couldn't. Those who could not help out themselves, the psychiatrist help them to handle that. Then there are 3 categories of abnormal the stages of abnormalities decide their need of help.
Mild, less abnormal stage where people can deal themselves and fix their wounds.
Moderate abnormal, here people require the advices of their reliable people to deal the situations
Severe abnormal, in this stage people could not handle or their families could not handle them they need complete spoken therapy of psychiatrists.
Afterwards the writer talks about some most important steps of life which are the true teaching and learning of life, such as forgiveness, hope and awareness.
Forgiveness plays very vital role in healing the mind and soul, revenge only makes you restless but forgiveness gives you ease and peace . The world's problems and confusion could be resolved through single maafi Nama the biggest issues and cases could be solved by forgiving and talking.
Hope, it is the small particle in the darkness which enables people to live fully and completely, hope means helping hand those people who just want single ray of hope for leaving their darkest spots , those who are ready to enter in the room of light but waiting for single direction. Be that helping hand and help others those who want it badly. The world could be ameliorated through the single ray of hope, be the beacon of hope which the world needs most.
Awareness, people need self-Awareness, those who are doable to ask, they should be taught how to ask for help? Many people don't know their abilities their qualities they should be counsels about their creativities, many people don't know how to appreciate others how to clap for other how to motivate others victory, they are disable at how to appreciate themselves and others. They badly need counsling and help to discover that their inner strengths. Many people who need help they could not ask for because they feel it is the disability to ask help, but they and we must understand that we are a sane we couldn't live alone we need one another's support we need one another's appreciation.
The problem of our society we forget to appreciate but remember to criticize, we forget to cheer up but remember to taunt. This is the cruelest act we are doing with each other , this ruins the life of so many people. And it chade of all evilness when the evilness couldn't be handle by people then they need psychiatrist. But we could be helping hand to one another and can solve so many tribulations through kindness, forgiveness and love.

It's a completely honest short reivew:
I didn't want even to buy this book at first place but bought it. Then didn't want to read it at all so soon but read it. And guess what completed it in 2 days. You can guess my engagement with this book from above facts.

At first, the title seems amazing and dull too, at least to me. Very bad combination. Amazing because it was unique, dull because I thought its "Fazul" ka unique. Then I opened it, read one random page. That random page turned out to be the best thing I read that day. Then started it from the first page. Throughout the book, I found amazing lines and paragraphs. There was so much to highlight as well. It was a bit cheesy and masala full as well and these things for me add to captivating style. Much people don't like it, but I loved it in this book.
I liked the satire in it as well. Besides it's a kind of a self-help romantic book. Throughout there weren't many solutions to the questions addressed in this book. The proper answers and solutions would have made this book a masterpiece. Overall it's a 4.5/5

Ok it took me exactly 1.5 days to finish the book. I was about to put it away since some parts confused me but since it’s a small book I forced myself to read it. Then things started to become clearer and the ending wrapped up everything. So if you’re reading it then do complete it. I am sure you will like it. The book talks about a patient of Cabir Sahab who has experienced a bomb blast and lost the love if his life in it. He becomes traumatized and obsessed with the idea of suicide by blowing himself up. The story is excerpts of various sessions and is written completely from the perspective of the client.
The entire reason of writing the book is to teach the readers not to judge anyone going through a rough time and instead have an open mind and heart and above all acceptance.
I do recommend this book to those who are specifically interested in trauma counseling or are jus curious about the human mind.

If you are broken in any way.. Just give this book a read, and I bet you will be crying!
I read this one a while ago, and I was, and still am facing some serious shit, but this book gave me a way out, and I am not saying it completely solved my problems. But right now I am contained than I was before... So, it was a for sure the best read of 2021. <3
