It is important to notice that the title says, "weapon and equipment," there is a reason weapons are listed first. The book gives quite a bit of attention to firearms through the centuries as well as artillery and explosives. The listings of equipment like telegraphs, automobiles, and other goodies is rather anemic compared to the listing of firearms. This book would mostly be useful to a game where gunfights would be a major focus of the gaming sessions. If your gaming group is not made up of gun nuts, then you may find this book lacking in useful content.
