Reissue of "Wise Moves" and it doesn't show its' age at all. The story is a great, classic Romantic-Suspense. The plot just hums right along, and the romance is sure to please.

Kristin Rodale is not her real name. Kristin has been on the run for the past nine months and now she finally feels safe enough to stay in the same place for more than a week. She is falling in love with a small town in Virginia and her new job as a receptionist for a yoga studio.

Nine months ago, Kristin was Elena Benito, the pampered sister of Miami drug lord, Antonio Benito. Benito killed people in front of Elena as a warning to her and then he puts a hit on her which fails, and she runs.

Dane Cambia is a former FBI agent whose sister Benito had killed. He is on a hunt to find Elena. He isn't interested in returning her to Miami, he wants to use her as bait. His plan is to end Benito once and for all. When he meets and gets to know Kristin, he falls in love with her. But Kristen will never be safe unless Benito is dead.

My thanks to HQ Digital, Publisher, and Mary Burton, author, for providing a complimentary digital Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this novel via NetGalley. This is my fair, honest and personal review. All opinions are mine alone and were not biased in any way.

Find You is a intriguing mystery/suspense with romance.
Main character, Kristen, is put in protective custody so she can testify against her brother. Things do not go as planned and Kristen ends up on her own…..just trying to survive as best she can. She finds as place she feels safe at when she meets Dane.
Suspenseful elements with a heartwarming romance aspect.
Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Elena Benito is hiding away from her brother, who is a well-known mafia head.

After landing in a small town with a new name, she's trying to make a new life for herself. But the past is always catching up. Her brother's men are on the hunt.

Dane is an interesting character that wants revenge. And what better way than finding his uncle’s killer? There's just a small impediment in his plan. He hasn't expected to fall in love with his enemies’ sister.

Dane and Elena, known as Kristen now, will go through a lot of trust issues and what ifs through this short story. The suspenseful moments were really a great touch of the author's mark and the romance side just enhanced it.

I really enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to read more from the author in the future.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy

I love Mary Burton’s books. Sadly this one didn’t quite meet my expectations. The storyline felt rushed. I liked Kristen but I didn’t really connect to Dane’s character. I still look forward to her next book.

I loved this book and could not put it down.
The author writes in a very descriptive way and you feel like you are there in the moment.
I couldn’t put this down and raced through it.
Somewhat predictable in so far as you knew Dane was going to save her but nevertheless a great read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Loved the characters and the depth of detail helped you feel you were along for the ride,
Hugely grateful for the opportunity to read this as an ARC from net galley. It was one I was very interested in and it delivered exactly, if not more

Find You was a fast-paced read featuring a romance between a former FBI agent and the sister of a gang leader.

Kristen Rodale has been on the run for the last nine months after her attempt to turn in her gangster brother turned deadly. Finally settling in a small Virginian town, Kristen hopes she's found a place her brother will never find her. Former FBI agent Dane Cambria lost his sister due to Kristen's brother and he hopes that tracking her down will finally lead him to Benito. Dane manages to find Kristen but the more time he spends with her, the more he finds himself falling for her. But Dane and Kristen weren't as careful in covering their tracks as they should have been and soon their nightmare will be on their doorstep.

Find You is a re-release of the author's book Wise Moves which originally released in 2006. The book does feel a bit dated at times but not overly so. The author's newer books are definitely better in my opinion, but this one was still an enjoyable read if you're working through the author's backlist.

The premise of Find You intrigued me as I was interested to see how things would play out between Dane and Kristen with her brother being responsible for the death of his sister. Initially when Dane finds Kristen, he doesn't tell her who he is and instead works to gain her trust under a false identity. It doesn't take long for their romance to develop and I did enjoy the chemistry between the pair. Unfortunately Dane takes quite a while to admit who he really is which is a scenario that bothers me somewhat in romances. I don't like when half of the couple lies to the other half for a long time as was the case in this book. Aside from that though I did really enjoy the pair's romance. Eventually the storyline with Kristen's brother advances which ups the pacing quite a bit. The final showdown with him was very well done and I enjoyed the way the plot wrapped up.

Overall Find You was an entertaining read and I would recommend it if you're looking for a quick, romantic suspense to pick up.

After witnessing her brother kill some people Kristen goes to the police, but her brother’s money mean she isn’t safe, even with them. She goes on the run and has been doing ok by herself for the last 9 months. She has moved from town to town, never staying long, never making any connections. That is until the last town where her new boss becomes a friend and helps her. She meets Dane while working and they immediately hit it off, but she is still reluctant to let anyone in. He doesn’t give much away either, but he has his own secrets. His sister was killed while protecting Kristen and he originally is looking for use Kristen as bait to trap her brother. The more time they spend together the closer they become, the more conflicted Dane becomes. When everything comes to a head Kristen is heartbroken by Dane’s deceit and isn’t sure if she can forgive him. I liked Kirsten’s strength and willingness to help others, even after all she had been through and I understood Dane’s grief and anger at the loss of his sister. This felt like quite a short, quick story and it would have a liked a little more depth to they story, but like this author and this type of book so did enjoy this story.

Finding You is a wonderful fast afternoon read. This book has great characters, suspense, and romance. Elena was a witness to her brother killing "the churchmen." Fearing she would never be free from her brother, she escapes and runs to the police where she then goes to a safe house until she can testify against him. With a $5 million dollar reward for her safe return Elena safety is in question when a corrupt agent alerts her brother for the money. Converging on the safe house the men pretending to be FBI kill the two who were protecting her. Thanks to Helen, Elena escapes and goes on the run hoping to evade her brother. Elena now Kristen has arrived in Virginia and gets a job as a receptionist at a yoga studio. But her past is about to catch up with her. Dane is ex FBI out to avenge his sister's death. He sees Elena as a means to and end but after meeting Kristen makes him reconsider using her as bait.

I am a big fan of Mary Burton. Each of her books are well worth reading. They pull you in right from the beginning.

Elena Benito’s brother Antonio is a drug lord. When she witnesses him murder innocents, she turns evidence and is scheduled to testify. The night before the court date her safe house is compromised and she escapes. Fearing for her life and no longer trusting the police, Elena assumes the name Kristen & settles into a small town working for a yoga studio

Dane Cambria was the brother of one of the officers killed protecting Elena. He’s out for revenge. Ex special forces, he plans to lure Antonio out by finding Elena. Lucian Mosses uncle was one of the innocents killed by Antonio. He has been hacking into his finances trying to cut him off. Dane teams up with Lucian to hunt for Elena and take his revenge.

When they find Elena, Dane takes on a construction job at the yoga studio. He soon realizes that Elena is just another victim of her brother. Will he still use her as bait?

I’ve read other books by this author and this one is just as good. Worth the read.

A fast-paced and addictive romantic thriller. The opening scene is tense and exciting. Kristen is under police protection pending her brother's trial where she is to give evidence against him. There is an inevitable sense of doom about this scene as the reader is expecting the worst to happen and that Kristen is not going to make it to the courthouse.

Kristen inevitably ends up on the run and undergoes tough times in order to survive and stay undetected by the police and her brother. I really enjoyed the suspense element of the story and the tension built up very well. I was expecting a big showdown with Benito at the end but it fizzled out very quickly and some of it was off scene.

The romance was nice but a little bit rushed. I didn't really feel the connection between Dane and Kirsten. Nevertheless, they made a sweet couple and the story concluded nicely for them.

My favourite character in the book was Kristen's friend, Sheridan. There is more to her than meets the eye and I'm intrigued by what her back story could be. It's one I'd like to read.

'Find you 'is an intense and well-paced romantic suspense that keeps the reader engaged, waiting for Elena/Kristen's past to catch up with her. The opening scene is atmospheric and action-packed and immerses the reader in the main protagonist's life. Trying to start a new life brings Elena, now Kristen, to a new small town with friendly people who seem willing to help a stranger. Dane is ex FBI out to avenge his sister's death. He sees Elena as collateral damage in achieving his goal but meeting Kristen makes him reconsider.

The romance between Dane and Kristen is conflicted and gentle and is a counterpoint to the suspense and danger surrounding them. The tension intensifies as the story progresses, and the ending, whilst not unexpected, is impactful and romantic.

I like the believable characters and setting, the suspenseful plot and the gentle romance of this story,

Elena Benito is in a safe house with FBI guarding her before she is to testify against her brother who is being tried for murder among other things.
One of the agents has informed her brother where she is for the $5 million dollar reward he has on her head.
Elena escapes when both FBI agents are killed by her brother's henchmen.

She eventually arrives in a small town and finds a job, but is located by Lucian, whose Uncle was murdered by her brother, and Dane, whose sister was one of the FBI agents murdered, who are both intent on using Elena (now known as Kristen) as bait.

Dane did not count on falling in love with Kristen... but goes ahead with his plan to use her as bait.

Thrilling from the first page, I read this in one sitting.

Really enjoy Mary Burton's novels, there is a bit of everything, suspense, intrigue and romance.

Thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this.

This is my review for a book provided by NetGalley.
It is my first Mary Burton and I found it an easy and fast read. I would classify it as mostly romance with an element of catching a hard criminal, not really suspense romance or romance thriller because it is a very straightforward adventure, without a twist or major revelation.
Elena is on the run from her brother, a very bad criminal, a killer, and is used as bait to catch him by two men, both intent on revenge. Her brother had killed someone in both their families. One is a man she fell in love with and she is devasted by his betrayal.

A Thrilling five-star read. This is fast paced and thrilling and everything you expect from this great author. Kristen has faced so many challenges and her story will keep you hooked, Dane added something to it, but it was a little lacking at times, that being said it kept me hooked from start to finish.

After witnessing her brother brutally murder multiple men, Elena flees her from her brother and the lifestyle she was accustom to. As she’s in police protective custody events happen causing her to flee. This is where the story really begins.

I did enjoy this book but I didn’t connect with it as much as I’d hoped to. It’s a quick read and does keep you turning the pages, but for me personally I felt as though something was missing.

I will definitely read Mary Burton again though as I do really enjoy this genre of books.

Of all Mary Burton's romantic suspense heroes, Dane Cambria has got to be my least liked one. I understood the reasons for his actions, especially why he approached Elena/Kristen, but when he slept with her... When I say I cringed--

A good read
This was a really good read that only took me a couple of days to finish because it was such a good plot and an interesting take on how an evil person can still show love but in an obsessive way.
Antonio Benito is a drug dealer and a murderer but the one person that he loves is his sister Elena. He has provided her with a luxurious lifestyle and she had everything that she needed. However he cannot share her with anyone and when Elena discovers that he has had her fiancée Carlos murdered and also kills people who were supposed to be protecting her in front of her, Elena knows she has to get away.
As the book begins, Elena now known as Kristen Rodale, has been on the run for over a year. She has totally transformed everything that she can about herself and has finally found a job in a yoga studio in a small place in Virginia called Lancaster Springs. Despite her brother offering 5 million dollars for her discovery no one has yet found her and she is beginning to relax.
Kristen is looking after the yoga studio as the owner Sheridan is away for a few days when a builder, Dane Cambia arrives to do some work on the building. Almost immediately Kristen feels attracted to him and the feeling is obviously mutual but what Kristen does not know is that Dane is ex-FBI and the police officer killed in front of Kristen was his sister. He is working with Lucian Moss who is a security expert whose uncle was also killed by Antonio. Their task is to identify whether Kristen is in fact Elena and then use her as bait to draw out Antonio.
The story was fast-paced and tense but I only allocated 4 stars because I thought the romance between the 2 main characters was just too contrived and not very realistic.
However I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys this genre.

I am a huge fan of Mary Burton and have read all of her books!
I am an avid reader living near London and I know that with Mary Burton I will experience an amazing fast paced, action packed mystery with a romance in twinned.
Dane and Kristen’s story is no exception and pure delight. The small town in Virginia setting is also really enjoyable.
I would without a doubt highly recommend this book and indeed any other books written by Mary Burton who is in my opinion a really talented author.

Elena Benito has been on the run for 9 months, hiding from her brother, who is a criminal and killer with extensive money and resources. She has changed her appearances and her name (to Kristen Rodale), and is now living in Virginia. Relatives of two of her brother's victims have teamed up to find her, planning to use her as bait to draw her brother out and exact their revenge. This is a fast-paced romantic thriller, a quick and enjoyable read.

Having read Mary Burton's later books, there is a definite improvement. This book had a good plot concept, but it wasn't executed well. The romance was very insta lust, there was no development and it felt rushed. The plot was similar. Everything seemed under developed and the dialogue was stilted. I highly recommend her later books as they are a lot better and this one probably needed a bit more experience to make it better.
