Dream and Drake part on bad terms. Dream leaves the precinct with a heavy heart. Drake tells her he is giving her some space, but Dream has no intentions of taking a break from him. She is ready to reconcile things between them that night so that they can be happy in the morning. All she wants to do is get Drake back and she’s willing to fight for him. After another altercation with Channa, Drake’s wife, Dream realizes that her relationship with Drake is not the fairytale life that she thinks it is. Winning Drake back will not be as easy. Channa is a permanent fixture in his life. She will not allow Dream to step into the picture and steal Drake away without a fight. In fact, she’s willing to kill for him. If Dream doesn’t get out of her way, she will attack. Dream will be a distant memory if is left up to Channa. Not only is Channa a beautiful bombshell, she is Drake’s trap queen too. There is nothing that Channa won’t do for her man, as long as he chooses her. If he decides to pursue Dream, Channa will step her game up and show her other side. She can be vindictive, secretive, and scandalous if need be. Drake is stuck in between two women. Channa, who is his past and Dream, who is his future. He knows who he wants to be with, but life doesn’t allow him time to figure things out. The beef in the streets is brewing. Before he knows it, he is in a world of chaos. His businesses are under attack and his family is under fire. Bullets are being hailed everywhere. For the first time in Drake’s life, he fails. Now, he doesn’t know if he should tell The Cartel or not. Breeze has no idea that Bey is kidnapped. She is missing and no one is looking for her because she has a habit of disappearing. Breeze thinks that she is still angry with him and she doesn’t want to be bothered. He tries to call her several times and it is going straight to voicemail. After Dream is hurt badly, he tries to look for her, but his pride and hot-headed way of thinking won’t allow him to search too long. He’s convinced that she’s moved on and he’s determined to do the same. Yolo is sick and tired of trying to earn his respect from Breeze. He decides to take things to the next level when he finds out The Cartel is watching his every move. This unexpected decision causes him to isolate himself from his crew. When they go their separate ways, his team goes rogue. The plan that Yolo has in place is null and void. Now that they are out of his control, they want it all and they will do anything to get it. The setup is real. Shots are fired and people die. Will Dream and Drake end up together like they planned? Or will the chaos surrounding them prevent their love from blossoming?
I love to write. Making up stories and bringing characters to life is who I am. I use it as therapy. It was my escape from the inner city struggles of Chicago/Gary. I have seen a lot of crazy things and overcame even more. Those situations play out in the stories that I write. The drama will have you speechless.
I was a little disappointed. Part 1 was so good. I expected so much more. Like who even got Bey and no one cares. Drake sleeping with twins every night and Channa sleeping with everyone.
Dream was really heartbroken when she fought out that Drake was married. Even though Channa, Drake's wife, and Drake were estranged, Drake's heart was with Dream. Drake only brought Channa in, to keep her from sabotaging his empire, but he bit off more than he could chew. Channa isn't going down without her trying to scheme Drake into loving her again, and she isn't going down without a fight. Dream ended up getting caught up in the aftermath of Channa's rant, which landed Dream in a coma.
Yolo came up with this stupid plan on taking out Breeze and his brothers. He's a piece of crap, and I can't wait until he gets what's coming to him. Yolo is a user, someone that was brought into the family, and given a position, just to lie, snitch, steal, and betray the only person that had his back...then to make matters worse, he's sleeping with Breeze's ex, Unique. Yolo is desperate in making the Diaz-Santanas suffer in any way that he know how, and he's trying to set each one of them up, by taking them out one by one.
Breeze was upset with Bey, and he was doing his best to try to forget her, but little does he know, he should've kept his friends close and his enemies even closer. Why have enemies, when you have friends like Yolo?!?! Breeze has never been in love before, but he's definitely in love with Bey, but he's under the impression that Bey is in her feelings, and she's done a disappearing act, but that's definitely not the case. Breeze has also ended up in a coma, and Drake done his best to hold the family together, but everyone has a breaking point.
Bey doesn't know where she's at, or why she's being held hostage. She ended up being kidnapped, on her way home, and sadly no one is looking for her. She almost escaped, but was caught, and she's terrified not knowing what's going to happen next. The last time that she saw her sister, Dream, she told her not to worry, or look for her, but little did she know, those wasn't the last words she should've stated, now because it has came true.
I never read so much drama in one series, but I'm not complaining. Two books down and two to go. The series so far is good, and thank you for a great read.
I waited patiently for this book and I have to say I was truly disappointed. This book felt rushes and it was all over the place. I don't like how it dragged on and lacked focus. I will read the next installment because I need to know what will happen. I pray that it is better.
Man I can't believe that they got Breeze. Yolo is out for blood. I hope that they catch up with him next book. He needs to be in some major pain. Drake a hoe for sure, especially when he was trying to do right by Dream. Spencer is sick, there is no way they should have allowed him in the room and not know he was sexing her with his loud butt. And the doctors should have found it out that when she first went to the hospital 3 months ago she was not with child, but she just wakes up and she is pregnant. It's not adding up.
I keep putting the book down although it’s a great read. I want to know what happened to Bey, who kidnapped her and why. Why no one seems concerned about her being missing... I’m so glad I got the whole series, I just hope it don’t take to the final book for me to find out if Bey is going to be ok or not. Other than that I’m ready to see what Dream, Drake and Breeze are up to in the next installment of this book series.
This book had me on edge and anxious for whars next as the drama continues for these characters. The drama is at an all time high this time around for Drake, Breeze and the rest of their crew. Will the Cartel and Mafia go down, Will Yolo finally be exposed, What will happen next for the love triangle between Dream, Drake and Spencer, Is anybody ever going to find Bey. So many questions that need answers. Can't wait to find out in part 3.
This book along with the series was a bit too much. The characters were likable but their journey was too long and chaotic.
It is a lot ripping and running and no real cohesiveness within all of their stories. I read all of them until I got halfway through the fourth book and I just had to give it up.
Maybe one day I’ll get back to it but it was just so much of the same story that I didn’t see it changing at that point.
What in the world could happen next? Love, jealousy, hatred, money, sex and guns are all part of this banging story. I'm rooting for Dream and Drake but it doesn't look promising. I can't wait to see what happens next. Loyalty is tested, there's a snake in the camp and no one knows who it is. Part 3 is next!! Don't sleep on this book.
This part drove me crazy. Channa & Spencer deserve to be together- scandalous liers. I felt Dream was gonna be pregnant the way her Drake went at it so I hope its not Spencers. It needs to come out that Channa hit dream and Hey needs to be found, that needs to come out with all the crazy stuff that Yolo's scandalous haten behind put into place. Onto part 3
Part 2 of this series was action packed. I'm back to loving Drake again, but I hate Snow and Yolo. Breeze needs take the time to evaluate all the things that's been going on with him so he'll know who is behind all of his misfortunes. Spencer is a whorish sick piece of $hit for what he did to Dream while she was in the coma and sleeping around the way he does.
That dang Yoko and Spencer makes me want to cut the from stem to stern!!!! Ones jealous of his boss and the other is mad because he dropped the ball with his girl. These selfish trick baby's ugh!!!
The drama just keeps getting worse in the 2nd book to this series. I hope the truth about Yolo's betrayal gets unveiled in the next part to this series. Spencer was grimey. Looking forward to finding out what happens in the next part to this series.
Okay now I love these characters but every last one of them but they done lost their damn minds and so have this AUTHOR..... Channa is a straight HOE.... I can't for the life of me see what how in the world she got what Drake in the first place the characters don't even match she's totally the wrong person and I'm glad he's trying to get out of it but what the hell are you doing to my boy now Drake Done more then lost his damn mind he is far from the strong kingpin that he supposed to be I don't know where he went but all you need to bring it back because dad definitely out of character" for specially with these twins that was that about as far as Channa crazy azz got his ex side piece stealing his semen what the hell girl your imagination is out there.....My poor baby breeze girl why you keep doing this to my boo is the second time doing this one book that my baby got shot up I'm about to have a fit I hope you make it back this time and realize that my girl is really missing and nobody knows yo this is going crazy right here I can't wait for part 3 my goodness you got me on my feelings with this one that Yolo is just retarded I don't even want to discuss him that my poor baby Green is laid up in the hospital in a coma being raped what the hell listen I got to stop talking on his cause I'm a tell it all cause Im on one Ms. princess oh my god if I could get my hands on you right now don't you make me wait too long for next one.....Over the top storyline ........ out freaking standing
I liked how part two was told it was more about the brothers and lies and deceit than anything else. Dream had a whole team of snakes around her between Spencer and Destiny sheesh!!! I really enjoyed this story I can't wait to read what happens next.
I have mixed feelings about this book. Everybody sleeping around none of them know what the bell true love is. ForSake and his brothers to be part of a cartel a lot of unnecessary e necessary things are happening to their family. I thought Quay had eyes on Yolo? How is it that he is able to get away with sooo much and not be caught up yet. Channa where do I begin on that one! She should have had a bullet in her head a long time ago, Drake is a sucker for some sex with these random but he claims to love Dream so much. When will the cartel start acting like a cartel and getting I'll ng revenge and not getting played like amateurs. We will see in book 3
I had so many interruptions that I'm just now getting done! So this book had me laughing, crying, praying. OK Breeze make me sick he know he love that girl he is going to feel some kind of way when he find out she was kidnapped, Dream poor girl can't get a break Spencer I hope he dies a slow death. Channa I wish the cartel would just kill her ass. Yolo needs to be tortured and then killed, dirty ass dog. Drake needs to leave those thirsty ass twins in the gutter. I can't wait for part 3 good read.
This book was so good. Everything is happening so fast. I wanted Bey and Breeze together as well as Dream and Drake. But the way their lifestyle is set up they're thinking with the wrong head. Channa is just nasty. Spencer is triflin af for the stunt he pulled. I can't wait to see who finds happiness in pt.3 Great Job
I tell you one thing, this sister can write her tail off. Drake and Dream's story draws you in. You are captured from part 1 until the ending of part 2. that ending has me on the edge wondering what's going to happen next. Spencer is a fool. I hope he gets what's coming his way and fast because he crossed the line. I won't spoil this read, but I can't wait for the next installment.
This book was fill with drama and action from beginning to end page turner every page there was more drama fill with suspense I eagerly waiting for revelation to be revealed
The first book was good but this one let me down so much that I don't even want to read the 3rd! Too bad. It had so much potential. Well on to the next.
