When Rehnquist left Miami and the police department for the tranquil solitude of the Florida Keys, he thought that he had put the days of pursuing violent criminals behind him. When he reluctantly agrees to help her, he has no idea where this case will lead him, or that discovering her brother’s secret might well cost him his own life.
