As a Brazen book junkie, I look forward to reading their new releases and so when I saw Candy Sloane was releasing another installment to her Most Likely To Series, I knew I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book.

Wrong Bed Reunion was just an outright fun, sexy, steamy romance that had the right amount of raw emotions and vulnerability intertwined into the story line to get readers like myself lost in the world of Georgia Cahill and Gideon Niell. In all honesty, you either loved high school or you hated it. And so Candy Sloane presents a story of two unlikely people hooking up.

photo a83cc56f44bc55a98f0eb20a8526e7_zpsht4onbmn.gif “I know I shouldn’t have done that.” His breath was hot in the chilled air. “But I can’t keep my hands off you. I can’t keep my lips off you. Every time I’m near you it feels like the worst and best decision I’ve ever made.”

Georgia Cahill was the most popular girl in highschool. She had the sass, beauty, and attitude. And of course she dated the high school quarterback.Georgia had plans to make it in Hollywood and become a successful actress. But the dreams and hopes that Georgia had didn’t turn out the way she wanted to. Instead, she finds herself lost while everyone around her is succeeding, getting married, having babies and all the while Georgia is just at a crossroad in her life. Standing still. And the most popular girl in high school finds herself with only two friends. And one them happens to be the geek that she made fun of in high school.

Gideon Niell hated high school. He was the geek that was picked on and teased. And so fast forward to ten years later, Gideon has made a name for himself and has become successful in the app industry. And so when he finds Georgia Cahill in his bed mistakenly, he makes her an offer that she couldn’t refuse. Gideon needed a pretend girlfriend to help land him this business deal investor and so when he presents this idea to Georgia in exchange in helping her get the attention of her quarterback ex-boyfriend, Georgia was on board. She felt she needed to get her life back on track and have a plan and maybe getting back with her ex-boyfriend will help her find her happily ever after. But what Georgia never expected was that Gideon was the right guy all along. He never judged Georgia and didn’t see her as a failure. So can this once high school geek win the heart of the most beautiful girl?

#WrongBedReunion

Wrong Bed Reunion was just a great read to unwind. I loved that Ms. Sloane was still able to maintain a sexy storyline but all the while give depth, understanding, vulnerability and raw emotions of the characters. She allowed readers to see that people can change and we should never judge a book by its cover. I love reading stories that shows character flaws and imperfection because I find them more relatable. And in this book, Ms. Sloane did that when she allowed readers to see behind the facade of Georgia and Gideon, that they are two people who just want to be happy and be in love. So can the geek get the high school beauty queen? Absolutely. Can the former geek be a dirty talking dominant alpha? Ummm...Yes he can be. So if you are ready to find out how sexy, dirty, steamy and hot this class reunion will be then I suggest you go read Wrong Bed Reunion.

Slick's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews

I didn't think I could love author Candy Sloane's writing any more than I did after her first book in her Most Likely To series, but after reading Wrong Bed Reunion she proved me wrong. The class geek turns into not only a successful businessman but one hell of a dirty talking stud and when he finds the head cheerleader in his bed (albeit not the one she intended) during their 10 year reunion who is he to question? I loved this twist of fate, change of fortunes story for its look at life after high school and for the message to be true to you no matter what happens in life. Flirty, fun, a bit crazy and a whole hell of a lot sexy this was a book I simply could not put down.

Georgia Chaill use to rule the school as the head cheerleader but her life after high school has not been so pretty and she plans to get back her quarterback boyfriend at their 10 year reunion, but a twist of fate or maybe just the twisted mind of a hotel employee lands her in the bed of Giedon Neill the class geek and scapegoat. I'm going to say upfront that for a good portion of this book I didn't like Georgia very much and I kind of wanted to smack her on Gideon's account. Granted he has a few harsh moments himself, but given the torment he endured during high school and the way Georgia was treating him, I couldn't fault him much for putting up his defenses and attacking back with what he had. The thing is the sexual chemistry, the heat, and the desire between these two from their first encounter was enough to set my Kindle Fire, well on fire!

While they were both essentially using one another to get what they wanted as the weekend progressed it became evident there was so much more between them. I appreciated the way they began to let down their guards enough for the other to really see them. It wasn't easy and they had many rough moments, but they also found an appreciation in one another. Yes, there was some lingering bitterness about the past, but they seemed to focus more on getting to know one another as the adults they are now than the kids they'd been back then.

One thing was for certain these two did not have a problem communicating sexually and they were not afraid to use any surface they found to enjoy each other fully.

Wrong Bed Reunion completely captivated me from start to finish and proof positive that while high school memories may not always be the best in the end it's what you do in your life that really matters.

Gideon and Georgia were not an engaging couple. I liked Gideon. Unfortunately, I did not like Georgia. Too much time was spend on how awful she was to Gideon in high school, and I never really believed that she was all that interested in being with Gideon now. It always felt a little like he was trying to get something back that was taken from him in high school and that she was constantly trying to live down who she was in school, while being embarrassed about who she is now.

The fact that both of them seemed unhappy with who they are and where they found themselves made it difficult to see the appeal of them being together.

The writing was decent, but I did not really engage with the characters or like the pacing of the story.

I am really enjoying this high school reunion series!

Author Candy Sloane continues her Most Likely To series with Georgia and Gideon's story. Georgia and Gideon made brief appearances in Best Friends with Benefits and with Wrong Bed Reunion, readers get to know what was really going on with these two. There's love, there's hate. There are emotions flying all over the place and drama. I love it!

After finishing chapter one, my first thought was if Georgia doesn't want Gideon, I will certainly take him. He is absolutely the kind of guy to swoon over - a must add to the book boyfriend list. I'm telling you now! He's the good guy, the sensitive one who you might not see the potential in initially, but give him a chance and he's the one who will care for you and treat you right.

Favorite Quotes

Oh, just something about a "Peach pop" that is just a little too racy to share here, but it made me laugh out loud and let me know that Gideon has one filthy mouth on him.

"I know we are supposed to be pretending, but the only acting I'm doing is denying how badly I want to kiss you again." - Gideon

Some Favorite Scenes:

I adored the scenes with Georgia and her niece. It showed her depth and tenderness when it wasn't always evident. You may ask, why was Georgia's niece at her high school reunion? Well, you'll just have to read Wrong Red Reunion to find out.

With each book I've read, a part of me wishes that I could know them as teenagers. There are some flashback scenes, but I want more. I love the angst - give it to me!

I love the humor that is infused throughout. And the sexytimes keeps this book on fire. It's scorching! I can't wait to read more by Candy Sloane.

Georgia is attending her ten year high school reunion. She feels she's a failure and wants to seduce her old boyfriend, Brandon, who is now a successful NFL athlete. Hoping that sparks may fly a second time, she slips into bed but realizes too late that she is not with Brandon. She's actually ended up in Gideon, the class nerd's, bed by mistake!

Gideon is a confident, sexy man on the cusp of closing that larger than life deal. He just needs to show his investor he has a girlfriend. When Georgia presents the opportunity at his doorstep-or maybe bed- he'll help her land Brandon. The two come up with a plan to make Brandon jealous and Georgia goes to a dinner with his investor.

When their acting starts to feel real, neither can separate what's fake and what's real. All they know is each makes the other sizzle on contact! Can this really be happening??

I hands down love these types of stories!! I really enjoyed reading about these characters. Georgia was the popular cheerleader and Gideon was the class nerd. Both have emotional baggage that they needed to work through. Theirs was an unconventional match-up that ended up-to their surprise-working. Both were strong on the outside, but still harbored doubts stemming from their school days. I loved how their relationship developed and how their chemistry was too strong to ignore! Yes we have a few snafus to deal with but I was glad to get the ending we did!

4 stars/3.5 flames

Georgia goes to her 10 year high school reunion with a plan to seduce her old high school sweetheart. She gets his room key from someone at the front desk and sneaks into the room to surprise him, but she ends up being the one surprised when she learns she is actually in bed with the class nerd, Gideon, instead. Gideon isn't the same guy he was back in high school. He has filled out with muscles and is now a successful businessman. He is about to make a very important business deal but in order to do so, he needs to find someone to pretend to be his girlfriend for a business dinner. Gideon and Georgia end up striking a deal: she attends the dinner with him and in return he helps make her ex jealous while they are at the reunion. After a while they start to wonder if it's really all pretend anymore.

There were some things that I really like and other things I didn't care for quite as much. At first the the whole angry banter between the two of them was fun, but after a while I just felt like enough is enough. There were a lot of really steamy scenes between the two of them but when it came to them starting to get feelings, I thought it was a little forced.

This book is the second book in the "Most Likely To" series, but it can be read as a standalone. I read the first book in the series as well and it was kind of fun to see the first couple again and see the events at the reunion from another perspective.

3.5 stars for this very steamy high school reunion romance!

Georgia thinks she's going to attract the attention of her ex-boyfriend Brandon by sneaking into his hotel room bed at the start of their 10 year high school reunion - but oops! She ended up with the nerdy geek instead - who is all grown up and definitely all man now. Gideon and Georgia may have been at odds in high school, but now they make a deal - he'll help her make Brandon jealous by paying attention to her at the reunion if she'll be his plus one at a business dinner after to help cement the investment plans for his new startup company. But they quickly find that after their one mistaken encounter together, they can't keep their hands off each other. It took a little while for me to warm up to Georgia - she really wasn't a nice person in high school (and she knows it, and there are reasons behind it) and at the beginning she and Gideon definitely have the enemies to lovers trope down pat. But I warmed to her and Gideon really was a nice guy throughout (with a dirty mouth, whoo boy, that guy can talk up a storm!). In the end it was a sexy and entertaining story with a happy ending and a plot that proves that people really can change.

Class Reunions run the gamut of emotions for most people no matter what. But you add that you were the one that was the most popular and most judgmental well… Say like former head cheerleader Georgia Cahill. Wow does that add pressure.
Or if you are the former nerdy geek of the class that was always tortured by the football team and people like Georgia and her boyfriend the captain of the football team Brandon White. Gideon Neill was made fun of, stuck into lockers, and many more things. What hurt most was when showing kindness to Georgia on the day her mother died by holding her to comfort her and she turns on you, mid cry and then verbally starts torturing you and it continues the rest of your high school years.
Now ten years later Georgia’s feelings of in validness in her everyday life with the fear about attending her reunion. Gideon knowing, he was no longer the nerdy geek, yet still wanting to appear bigger than life. They both come bearing secrets and festering old wounds. Not only that they are trying to put their best foot forward but on beds of lies.
The night of meet and greet was not a big thing people were trickling in and since Georgia was sharing a room with Kim her on and only friend from high school. She was with her. Kim felt ill it turns out it wasn’t the drinks the girls were downing but the flu she was running a fever and hugging the toilet all weekend. So when she laid down to sleep…
Georgia had at least 5 drinks in her so she had talked the guy at the desk to give her Brandon’s room key. Because you see for 10 years Kim’s convinced her that he is her Happily-ever-after that she missed by going to L.A. to try her hand at acting and that didn’t work. So, while Kim slept she got out of her clothes just her bra and thong were on. She put on the hotel robe and went to Brandon’s room. It was dark and let’s just say they were both being pleasured beyond belief when Brandon said he didn’t get startled he wasn’t Scarlett O’Hara. But that triggered something in Georgia as to where Brandon would have gotten that reference. So she says, what? He says, we were in senior English together and read Gone with the Wind. She flies out of bed because she figures out that the man she is in bed with is not in fact Brandon but the G-E-E-K of the school GILLIGAN as they called him. Gideon himself.
The said thing about it he knew it was her and he thought she wanted the man he was now. Pain—and all he gets from her is anger that he is not Brandon.
See how these two work through this situation and how they can make this pent up sexual tension they feel for each other work for them. Can past hurts be kept at bay even for a ramp in the hay?
I enjoy this so much. I think everyone can relate to it some way. The emotions are raw and real. The sex is hot, hard, and fast. But it is a couple who are in the throes of a relationship yet not sure of past hurts amazingly real. I give this 5++++ stars. Provided by netgalley.com. Follow us at:

ARC received from: Netgalley

Rating: 1.5*

Trope: Fake relationship

Chemistry: Damp squid

One-Sentence Summary: A girl crawls into the wrong bed at a high school reunion

Review: I loved Ms Sloane's debut novel in the Brazen line but I'm afraid to say that her followup novel and I just did not get on.

There were just too many frustrating things and then there's the heroine Georgia who is the definition of irritating.

The plot is based around the premise that Georgia thinks she is sneaking into her high school boyfriend, Brandon's, room and starts to seduce him, unaware that the lucky guy is actually Gideon the high school geek.

I know that several years have passed since she last saw Brandon but you would kind of think that she would recognise that the guy in bed wasn't her high school sweetheart before it got as far as it did. Anyway, I was still with the story at this point. Where it lost me was after every single encounter with Gideon, even after they have crazy hot sex, she is still obsessed with getting Brandon back and just using Gideon to make him jealous even though Brandon barely notices her. As a setup this was okay but it just went on waaay too long that I simultaneously felt sorry for Gideon and wanting to slap him for letting himself be used like that.

Every heroine needs a friend to pour her heart out to and in this story it is the hapless Kim who has absolutely no personality and spends the whole of the story in bed sick, apart from when she appears to be Georgia's soundboard (except not really because Georgia doesn't tell her she's doing it with Gideon instead of Brandon). Kim = one dimensional.

The book spends a good proportion of time highlighting that the story is based on a 'fake relationship' trope and building up to the favour that Gideon needs - a fake girlfriend. However, we never get to see that play out because they get their happily ever after before the dinner and therefore a good trigger for tension and play-acting is lost.

Finally, as I said at the start Georgia is just plain unlikable.

Nothing seems to be turning out the way Georgia Cahill had planned in the last ten years ago, she wanted to hit the big city of Hollywood and become a successful award winning actress, but so far that has yet to happen. As she continually sees all her friends marry, have successful careers, and make all their dreams come true, she can't help but feel like a complete failure. With her ten year high school reunion rolling around she is dreading showing up empty handed, I mean how can the most popular girl in school turn out to have such a disappointing life? But she is coming armed with a plan, she wants to land the heart of her old flame and high school football star, but after a few too many cocktails her little plan ends up taking a unexpected turn... a turn that has her re-configuring her little plan!!

Gideon Neill is not the same man he use to be, once labeled the class nerd, he is now a successful and gorgeous man with the business world in the palm of his hand... well almost! He is negotiating the biggest business deal of his life, but there's one little hitch to landing the deal he needs to show his attached, the problem is he doesn't have a girlfriend. So, after finding the once most popular girl in high school in his bed by mistake, he decides to make her an offer she can't really refuse. She wants her ex back, and using Gideon to make him jealous might just be the perfect way to get him back, and in return Gideon needs her to be his fake girlfriend to help him land his deal. But once the deal is made, things start to unexpectedly heat up and it has both of them reconsidering their little deal...

This sexy little story drew me in and held my undivided attention from start to finish, I got so wrapped up in it that I ended up devouring it in one sitting, it was SO addictive!! This was my first read from this author, and I have to say she totally won me over her well crafted story line and uniquely designed characters, and turned me into a devoted fan, I can't wait to read more from her!! It will make you smile, the heated banter have you laughing(and blushing a little too), and the heat between these two will steam up the screen on your kindle screen!! I loved every minute of this one, and I highly recommend you give it a try, it's second chance romance at it's finest!!

Wrong Bed Reunion is the second book in Candy Sloane's Most Likely series which is about people who attends their ten year high school reunion and in many ways resolves issues that started then and is ending in the present. In Wrong Bed Reunion, its Georgia and Gideon's turn, which if you read the first book will be very familiar since people have remarked on their most unlikely coupling. Which is now basically explained in this book. It was an unusual pairing with a very interesting and unique meet cute. Georgia basically gets in bed with Gideon thinking he was her old high school sweetheart. Her reasoning will sound pathetic which is what I think the author was getting at. From most popular and most likely to succeed to finding herself ten years later basically being a nanny for her niece. If she reads as desperate that is the gist of the story. Gideon on the other hand is successful but still hasn't shaken the feeling of insecurities he had in high school which came full force during the reunion. So having the most popular girl in high school in bed him was literally a fantasy come true. Its a great plot and the characters are on point however, the length of the book I think goes against it because there was a rapid resolution of the relationship between Gideon and Georgia. Still Wrong Bed Reunion was sexy, steamy, poignant and sweet entertaining read that most readers of contemporary romance would love.

This is 10 on the meter charts of ohhhlala hotness!

This is one story that will keep you hot and bothered from start to finish. Hilarious, sweet and with a slight touch of drama. It's that it has good lessons on not to be mean and not to bully others. The nice touch on nerd bullied to successfully rich guy after 10 years since highschool. Getting together with your ultimate crush in highschool. Doing it in all 8 places in a suite...in a shed and on the grass in your old school? Omg! I need a shower! Lol

“And a stupid lie, or an ex-boyfriend, or the very important dinner that Gideon is bailing on right now will never get in the way of that.”
It was everything she ever wanted to hear from the man she’d had no idea less than a week ago she’d want to be her everything.
“Gideon can’t miss that dinner.” Georgia’s voice cracked.
“Gideon knows there will be more investors, but there is only one you.”
“Hey!” Bailey pressed on Gideon’s knee. “Why are you talking about Gideon? He’s not on the farm.”

Georgia had dreams of making it big as an actress and ten years later that's all they were...dreams. She nailed the audition aspect of it, going on a plethora of them, it was just the landing the role part that kept eluding her. Halfway through that decade, the arrival of her niece, Bailey, became a wake up call and Georgia became Bailey's nanny. Yes, she may wish things were different and struggle with loneliness, but this is her life now and she's accepted it...sort of. However, when her ten year high school reunion comes around, her lack of achievement leaves her former classmates in a gossip frenzy. Armed with too many doses of liquid courage, Georgia decides she needs to cross one thing off her "regrets" list. That item? Trying to go back in time, instead of admitting defeat and moving forward, and rekindling things with her ex-boyfriend, former high school quarterback, now NFL back-up quarterback, Brandon. Doesn't sound too hard to accomplish, right? Now if only Brandon was aware of her plan.

Gideon is surprised, and unbelievably turned on, when he wakes up to see Georgia in his bed and her hands being put to good use. *wink wink* However, there's the little, well okay, it's pretty big, fact (ha, that sounded so dirty considering my previous sentence and the wink wink) that Gideon, though he fantasized about the popular cheerleader while in high school, honestly couldn't stand her as a person. Her and her friends, along with Brandon, taunted him due to his nerdish personality. Thanks to being named in Forbes magazine and well on his way to social media stardom due to his and his partner, Kurt's, burgeoning new company, Gideon is at the reunion to show all those naysayers that nerds rule and they can all suck it. Well okay, not in exactly those terms, but you get my drift.

Gideon, thinking his old shameful fantasy is about to be realized, takes control of the situation and Georgia. Things get climatic *eye waggle* but unfortunately, shortly after he blows her mind, the fact that he isn't Brandon as she'd thought shocks her and Gideon quickly realizes she didn't sneak into his room per se, she was looking for someone else. As for Georgia, she is ashamed by her self-perceived failures and intentionally stayed away from Gideon throughout dinner, the man who made something of himself and has achieved more than she could ever hope to. In her mind, she's failed yet again because her mission was not accomplished. All her anger and shame is aimed at herself, not Gideon, but of course, the former target for taunts and pranks doesn't see it that way.

What happens when Gideon and Kurt's potential investor wants to meet Gideon's girlfriend, the one Gideon created to avoid the investor's spoiled party happy daughter? Where can Gideon acquire a woman willing to play his fake girlfriend for a short time? Well it just so happens he does know a struggling actress...Will Georgia accept Gideon's offer? As these two are getting to know each other so they can convincingly play their parts for the investor, will their chemistry grow to include a mutual connection as well?
Will Gideon and Georgia ever act, intentionally this time, on their intense chemistry? Will Georgia be able to prove she's changed? Will Gideon be able to accept that Georgia truly wants him? Do they have a chance at a real future together?

One-click now to see how two former polar opposites in every category have both changed. This is an interesting story with a unique take on the reunion premise. These two aren't first loves looking for a second chance. They're essentially former enemies hesitant to cross the battle lines that were drawn so long ago.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, so I was looking forward to reading this one as well. We got a peek in the first book of the main characters here, Gideon and Georgia, and I was very curious about them.

Georgia was the head cheerleader and Queen B of her high school. She wasn't exactly what you'd call "nice". Especially, she wasn't nice to "Gilligan", what everyone called skinny, nerdy Gideon in high school. She ran off to LA to be an actress after graduation, but she ended up back in her hometown, living with her sister's family, and is a nanny for her 5 year old niece. Her plans for the reunion include getting back together with her high school sweetheart, whom she left to run off to LA. He now plays in the NFL, and she thinks he can take her out of her current circumstances.

Gideon was the nerdy computer genius in high school and he's turned that into a potential successful business venture. He just needs his angel investor to agree, and to do that, he needs to produce his made up girlfriend to have dinner with them. He goes to the reunion hoping to show everyone how much he's changed, both physically, and with how successful he's become.

A mistake by Georgia puts them into close quarters and they come up with a deal, he'll help her make her ex jealous enough to pay attention to her, and she'll be his "girlfriend" at the dinner with his investor. But, they can't keep their hands off each other, and it's screwing up all their plans.

I really enjoyed this story, as much or more than the first book. I had a few issues with all the lies the main characters were telling, to each other, to outsiders, to their friends. It made it so they couldn't really trust each other, which led to all their issues. And I felt like we had to wait until the bitter end to see that finally blow up on them and then get resolved.

Gideon gets help seeing things from another point of view from a very unexpected source, and that leads me to believe that person's book will be book #3. I'll look forward to it!

Overall, I did like these characters and the redemption they achieve, within themselves and with each other. I look forward to reading more from this author.

3.5 stars standalone fake romance between a former head cheerleader and class geek after a reunion seduction goes wrong.

Wrong Bed Reunion was my first book by Candy Sloane so I had no idea what to expect from this author. The book takes on the theme of a fake relationship mixed with second chances. My overall conclusion was I liked the book but I didn’t really love it and got a bit bored in the middle.

Told from dual points of views, we are introduced to Gideon and Georgia who are both attending their ten year school reunion. While a chemistry does develop between the characters, it personally took a while to warm up to the characters initially, especially Georgia and understanding her but once you do, your heartstrings will be pulled at times as her character is developed and more is explained as to why she is the way she is. There was plenty of tension from start to finish in this fake romance after a reunion seduction that goes wrong between a former head cheerleader and class geek.

The book is a decent read and relatively well written. The book is fast paced, set over only a weekend but obviously being a reunion romance it works for that purpose. The author managed to express the raw emotion and vulnerability of both characters was well - both characters have been hurt and both have tried to find ways to protect themselves from others, then and now. While the sex scenes were well written and definitely hot, they were a little more vulgar than expected with the language Gideon used - it just felt over the top, although I understood why the author did it to try and show him as a strong, alpha kind of male who was making a statement every time. The epilogue rounded off the story well, giving it a HEA and making it a standalone read.

Like I say, the book is a decent read and I would give the author another chance if I liked the sound of the plot.

Gideon and Georgia's storyline was familiar but not.

Nerd grown up into a gorgeous man. Popular girl grown up into, well, she doesn't know. Which was fine. I liked that she was kinda floundering. For all the plans she had, it was nice to see her struggle to find her place now that those plans have fallen through. Her plan to get an old boyfriend to notice her again wasn't all that brilliant but it was understandable, you know? After all those years, did they still have that spark?

Fortunately, I didn't care to know because the heat between Georgia and Gideon was hot enough to engulf that silly thought.

Mind you, Georgia was not nice to Gideon in high school. The reason behind her behavior was surprising and I wanted to go back in time and make it so she didn't have to give in to that kind of behavior.

The present was definitely redemptive for her. Sleeping with Gideon wasn't a hardship she'd ever regret. It was an experience that opened her eyes to what she was missing, to what she needed to feel whole and complete and found.

What I liked the most was this feeling, from both characters, of insecurity. Odd for Gideon given his success and confidence. Not so odd for Georgia given the stalemate she exists in. But it was...eye opening how high school insecurities can carry into present day.

This wasn't just about hooking up with the wrong guy (who turns out to be the right guy) or making a deal of a century with a man you would never consider a friend otherwise. This wasn't so much about sex either, although sex did give them the window they needed to get to know one another, to really get to know each other and finally move past those insecurities.

I enjoyed this story. That was surprising, and I'm glad I was able to read this too. Gideon and Georgia aren't characters I'm likely to forget any time soon. The heated arguments, the passionate sex, the need for completion without really knowing how it would happen. All of that came to a head when they realized how much better they were together, how their insecurities melted in the wake of someone who care for you.

2 Stars | Hot Steam

Excited to try new-to-me author Candy Sloane and lured by the prospect of a steamy enemies-to-lovers romance, I couldn’t wait to start WRONG BED REUNION. Unfortunately, after the first few chapters that sparked with sizzling promise, Georgia and Gideon’s unlikely attraction swiftly degrades into a series of rough, loveless encounters between the decade-long social adversaries that left me disenchanted with Gideon and frustrated with Georgia.

Gideon is simply not my kind of hero. Beyond his basic lack of charm and any sense of humor, he’s a cold, bitter, selfish, resentful, and unforgiving man. I was especially turned off by his character's toxic dialog. I’m all for an inspired filthy talker. However, Gideon’s twisted version of a dirty mouth is underwhelming at best and alarmingly abusive, hate-spew at worst.

Two examples from the same problematic scene:
“You’re not worthy of the plunge of my c*ck.”
“Peach, this is what you deserve, isn’t it? You want me to f@#k you like you’re my whore.”

What woman in her right mind would crave advances from a man who degrades and insults her like that? An impressive amount of orgasms achieved aside, Georgia, sadly, is so down on herself that she believes that she deserves to be mistreated. After each “pummeling”, she does a mind-walk of shame—her inner dialog reeling with shock, disbelief, regret, and plain old delusion. She tells herself that Gideon’s horrible words and aggressive carnal conduct “reminded her that she is her own person.” What does that even mean? My advice: Run girl!

Ultimately, these characters didn’t progress emotionally enough to win me. Nor did I believe that they reached a deep, heartfelt connection—the kind that leads to a redeeming and rewarding HEA. Screwed up animal attraction? Absolutely. Soulmates? Heck, no. This pair shouldn’t be together at all.

Side note to Georgia and Gideon: Time to shed your ancient high school social baggage. It’s been ten years. Move on.

Pass.

Meeting your ex classmates ten years later can be fun as well as being disappointing. Memories, good and bad are inevitable.

Georgia left her hometown and highschool sweetheart behind to chase her dreams ten years ago. She is now attending the ten year school reunion with the sole purpose of seducing her ex in view of a long term relationship.

Gideon was the school geek who was always being ridiculed because of the way he looked. He has changed since then and is on his way to success in his business endeavours. He isn't bad looking either.

In her quest to conquer Brandon, her ex, Georgia inadvertently ends up in Gideon's bed instead. Oops! They both enjoy this unexpected tryst but Georgia's bitchiness shows as soon as she realises her mistake. Gideon makes a deal with Georgia. He needs a "pretend girlfriend" and this pretense should make Brandon jealous enough to take notice of Georgia. That's what they are both hoping for.

Gideon and Georgia soon find that they quite like each other's company. Kim, Georgia's best friend has convinced her that Brandon is the one for her. She tries to stick to the plan which doesn't seem to be working.

Gideon is sensitive and some of his past insecurities linger. Georgia's reasons for the way she used to behave are understandable but still not justified. She appears to value others by their money, success and status. The way she allows herself to be dictated by Kim proves that she is not sure of what she really wants out of life. Will Brandon start to notice her? How about Gideon, is he really pretending?

The behaviour of those attending is quite surprising, considering they are ten years older. There are some sad moments as well as happy ones. Self doubt and distrust are quite prominent. It's also very sensual. The storyline is interesting.

So I’m a self-proclaimed Brazen junkie and always get excited for new releases! Wrong Bed Reunion is part of a series and can be read alone. Since I read all Brazen books I’ve read the first in the series (which I loved- Best Friends with Benefits) and I loved Candy Sloane writing style, I couldn’t wait for the second book in the Most Likely To series.

Georgia was queen bee in high school with the quarterback boyfriend and a bright future ahead of her but life after high school wasn’t anything like she planned. She’s hoping to reconnect with her high school boyfriend in the hopes her life will get back on track with the one that got away. With a margarita fueled plan, she sneaks into his room in the hopes of reconnecting (wink wink) but she enters the wrong room/bed. Gideon is awoken by the girl who tormented him through out high school but who he had a secret crush on. Gideon is nothing like the geek he once was in high school and is not a successful business man in the making. Did I forget to mention, Gideon is now beyond sexy? Once Georgia realizes she’s in bed with the wrong bed she is humiliated and lashes out like she girl she once was in high school. One thing leads to another and these to hatch up a plan that benefits them both. Georgia needs someone to help her get her ex jealous so he’ll chase her. While Gideon needs a woman to play his fake girlfriend on his arm to land a business deal. What this two don’t count on is their explosive chemistry. And you know what they say, the best fighters make the best lover.

I loved this story so I hope there will be more from the Most Likely To series. 5 Stars!

I love Entangled's Brazen line of books and while I liked the first book in this series quite a bit - Wrong Bed Reunion fell a little flat for me. Except for the sex and we will get to that in a bit.
Here's what went wrong, my opinion only. Georgia was the 'it girl' in high school. Beautiful, successful, cheerleader-dating-the-quarterback-tormenting-the-geek girl. Very... "Can't Buy Me Love" if you will. Brandon is the quarterback and Gideon is the geek. (stay with me here) Fast forward 10 years to the always dreaded class reunion and Georgia still has her looks but otherwise her life has stalled out. She's looking to reconnect with Brandon. She accidentally crawls in bed with her pal Gideon. *brakes squeal* Hold it!! If my math serves me correctly I should have just passed my 22nd high school reunion and I would DANG sure know if I was crawling in bed and re-hooking up with my high school boyfriend. (OMFG - sorry Mom).
The parts of the story that I really did enjoy though were the smoking hot sexy times and the redemption factor near the end. Candy Sloane can bring the heat inside (and out of the bedroom (YEAH BABY). That in itself made the book worth at least 3 stars - yeah, it was that HOT!
What im calling the redemption factor was Gideon himself. The fact that he reinvented himself from someone who was basically picked on in high school to the point of having PTSD to becoming a strong, sexy, very successful businessman who knew what he wanted and set out to get it. Im just glad Georgia finally wised up enough to see what a prize she had standing in front of her.

This is an uncomplicated read from Entangled Brazen. I normally look for these to be an enjoyable, quick read, but this one didn’t really appeal enough to me. I think the main reason is the characters were a little one dimensional. I just didn’t feel it was a realistic premise – high school “queen” accidentally lands in high school geek’s bed and through lots of hot sex – they fall in love. It just didn’t ring true for me and I found Georgia irritating most of the time.

Georgia Cahill is frustrated with her life post high school and is looking to reconnect with her quarterback high school boyfriend after ten years. Instead, she lands in the wrong suite and hooks up with Gideon Neill who has changed since high school and become a gorgeous, successful, confident entrepreneur. However, as the story unfolds – we see that Gideon isn’t nearly as far removed from the high school geek as he thinks he is and Georgia has turned into a humbled version of her former self.

Too much time was spent on how Georgia treated Gideon back then (which was horribly) to truly believe that he could so easily fall for the “new” version of her now. Although I normally enjoy Brazen stories – this one missed with me.

One thing I can say about these entangled series, is that every one of them has a seriously Dirty Talking Alpha Male
And this one was right up there.

Gideon was the class geek and Georgia was the popular cheerleader dating the quarterback. But now at their 10year reunion the roles are reversed
Georgia is the 'failure' living with her sister being a nanny to her niece and Gideon is the one that has filled out with muscles and is now a businessman who's business deal is going to make him a millionaire.
Georgia thinks that her life will work out if she goes to her reunion and get back together with her high school boyfriend, but things don't go according to plan and she ends up in the wrong guy's bed

But for some reason they make a deal that Gideon will help Georgia get Brandon back and Georgia will help Gideon get his million dollar business deal.

But as we all know things don't always go according to plan.

I loved Gideon, sexy, hot, alpha dirty talking male. Georgia I had to get use to cause she annoyed me a bit, acting like she was still in high school.
But I loved the storyline and I loved this authors wring.

Definitely a good Afternoon read!

Outrageously good!! I loved this book. The interaction between Gideon and Georgia "Peach" were funny, steamy and at times tense. But it only added to the story. These two reconnect, and wow do they reconnect by accident at their high school reunion. Gideon the class geek who has gone on to become a successful business man and no longer that high school geek Peach remembers. While Gideon seems to have himself together, Georgia is still trying to people please. While her roomie at the reunion and BF who is too sick to attend seems to be coaching her to try and bed her high school crush, Georgia can't bring herself to tell her she's connected with Gideon. Oddly enough, we see that their "difficulty" and misery she brought to Gideon in high school stemmed from his trying to help her. No spoiler there... read the book. You watch these two evolve and develop feelings... you see them work through misunderstanding, past and present. This book had it all... cover to cover. The author did a great job with the backstory, the plotline, character development and wrapped it all up nice and tidy with a bow. Could not have been better.

The plot could have been feasible enough, but I just wasn't feeling it the way it was written. The characters were flat, there was some filler in there that really didn't do anything for the story, and I just wanted more!

Georgia Cahill is at her 10 year high school reunion with one goal in mind ... seduce the quarterback boyfriend she left behind 10 years ago! With some liquid courage behind her, she heads off to slip into his bed, but a key mix up has her pressing herself against the class nerd instead! Before she realizes she's in the wrong bed, she's being seduced by a sexy, dirty talking man!

Gideon Neill is only at the reunion to show up his classmates who did nothing but ridicule him back in the day with how successful he is now! When Georgia climbs naked into his bed, he doesn't realize until way too much groping has gone on that she thinks she's in bed with someone else!

They definitely feel the pull from their hot encounter for the remainder of the reunion, and eventually agree to help each other out. He is supposed to help her make the quarterback jealous, and she's got to pretend to be his girlfriend for the deal of a lifetime meeting he has coming up!

3.5 stars.

Well, this was fun.

Georgia and Gideon knew each other back in HS, but after that first night in their HS reunion, they REALLY got to know each other, lol. Man, that was embarrassing.

So, back in HS Georgia was part of the popular crowd and treated everyone like crap, including Gideon, a nerdy student with a great heart. Now, ten years later, Georgia feels that she’s the loser of the bunch, and Gideon is actually making a great life for himself.

Still, they come up with a plan to fake date and of course, things don’t turn out like they wanted.

I really liked these two. Taking away their masks, they were more similar than they thought, and were actually pretty sweet. I felt they both learned a lot in this, not just Georgia and her own worth.

There were lots of sweet moments, and pretty hot ones as well. ;-) The story had a little bit of everything and it was a fun continuation to this series. Looking forward to reading more.

Georgia was the head cheerleader and most popular girl in her high school class. After graduation, she left her hometown and high school sweetheart, the star quarterback, behind to become a successful actress in Hollywood. After five years of never making it big in Tinseltown, she returns home to become a nanny to her niece. When she gets to the reunion, she feels like a failure and figures if she can land the quarterback, everything will turn around.

Gideon hated high school. He was nerd and frequent target of Georgia's. When he wakes up to find her in his bed, he's surprised but is happy to oblige her. Of course, this wasn't the plan and she takes off. They both need favors and who better to deliver on those than each other.

This was a quick, fun read. Some people change a ton in 10 years and this book, while fun, also showed that depth. I'll definitely go back to read the first book in the series and am looking forward to the next one.

"Wrong Bed Reunion" by Candy Sloane is book two in the "Mostly Likely To" series. This is Georgia Cahill and Gideon Neill's story.

Georgia is attending her high school reunion and decides to seduce her quarterback boyfriend from high school. After too much to drink she ends up in bed with Gideon instead.

Gideon was the nerd in high school that everybody made fun of. He is no longer the nerd but a hunk and about to make a really big business deal.

Georgia and Gideon ended up pretending that they were an item. They both have lots of issues that they are dealing with in their lives. Will they take a chance on love?

The story had potential but fell short for me. I wanted to like Georgia and Gideon but had a hard time relating to them. There were some moments I enjoyed that were funny, sweet, and steamy.

FYI, includes mature scenes (graphic sex and language). I received a copy of this book from NetGalley/Entangled Publishing.

I really enjoyed the first few pages of this story, they really hooked me and caught my interest. I liked the premise of this story, it was interesting and a little different from the other stories I've seen out there recently. I thought that Georgia had some issues being so hooked on the Brandon issue and at time really actually disliked her character. She wasn't a very nice person and I really couldn't see her appeal at the start. The more you read, the more insight into her character you got, the more likable she was.

Gideon was your classic geek to god story, but I loved the alpha role that he also took on. His demanding attitude was sexy and I loved how Georgia responded to him. I also loved that there was still the vulnerability of the hurt teenage boy buried under his commanding personality. The way Gideon and Georgia meshed and clicked, the way they both grew, it made for a great story that any reader would enjoy.

This is the 2nd book in the Most Likely To series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this series in order.

Gideon and Georgia went to high school together. They were basically enemies. Georgia did not let anyone close. Gideon is shocked when she approaches him in his hotel room.

Georgia wants to change her life. She has been stagnant, or so she thinks. She feels she missed out on so much over the last decade and she is making up for lost time.

Sexy heat and surprises are in store for the reader with this book. Such a terrific installment for this amazing series. I cannot wait to see what the author will give us next!
