I had to read this for class. I found the first chapter to have the most information. The rest of it felt drawn out. I had no interest in the last chapter what so ever so I skimmed it.
I had to read this book for my theatre history class (are we sensing a pattern here...) I enjoyed the way it was written. There were many different elements synthesized together, such as interviews and performance pictures, that I found to be interesting. I did however grow tired of the book as it went on. I felt like it could have been condensed and found the beginning of the book to be the most interesting part.
