There is nothing definitive about this book, and it is in no way a manual. The author repeatedly brings up valid points about tiny homes, but does not expand upon them. The book serves no more purpose than the tiny home wikipedia page.
If you are looking into tiny homes for the first time, do a google search. It will provide the same or better information than is provided by this book.
If you are interested in specific plans, more detailed information, or deeper thoughts on the tiny home movement, don't waste your time with this book.
I suggest looking into the book written by the owner of Tumbleweed homes. It outlines his personal journey through the tiny house movement, a thorough history of the movement, and detailed tiny house plans.
A VERY brief introduction to tiny houses and tiny living. I appreciate the author broaching the subject but this is far from the author's claim that this is the"definitive manual to tiny houses" and their construction. If you want much more information my suggestion is to read tiny house blogs, articles and watch all the media available on tiny houses and their construction than to read this book.
This book answers a lot of questions in a straight forward manner. My main concerns about Tiny Houses are water and sewerage and this book answered both.
