A much more realistic portrayal of a homicide investigation than what is normally written or portrayed in crime novels and television shows. But, of course, that should be the case since the author is a 15-year veteran of the San Diego Police Department. Methodical police work, but still an exciting read. Looking forward to reading other novels by this author.
