Deshon Dreamz writes stories that make you dig your imagination from the deepest place inside of you and create a reality within dreams.
A hopeless romantic, Deshon began writing novels in the ninth grade after stumbling across a Brenda Jackson book at the public library. Ever since that moment, she has been hooked on love. The possibility of it. The look of it when it is tainted. The hope of love. Strong. Consistent. Demanding Love. To this date, Deshon has novels ranging from the genres of Romance, Erotica, Supernatural/Paranormal and Urban. She is a writer of all things that her pen desires. She writes without limits and boundaries. Freely giving those that decide to adventure with her an opportunity to get something different every time they open a Deshon Dreamz book. Her wit and personality creates dynamics within her characters that make them loveable. The activist inside of her creates scenarios that will cause you to think. The mother inside of her creates strong women who require love and respect. The lover inside of her places romance on a mantel for her readers to become absorbed in. Mother. Poet. Writer. Activist. Dreamer.
This was a good read. The author did a good job for her first time writing urban. I loved all the couples. The men did loved their women. I liked how all the women was in school and how the men was trying to get out the game. Man that ending had me feeling some type of way. I can't wait to read part 2 to see what happen next. Ip
Yo, this book was awesome!!!! Well written, the characters, the plots, the plot twists, the sex, the drama, the length all that. Oh wait did I mention the sex.... ? Yeah I did. I'm here to tell you that she was not playing when she wrote this. its clear that this author was passionate about each of these characters. My favorite couple was Lemonte and his girlfriend. I loved them and Lemonte was secretly my man throughout the whole book, while I crushed on Keyton.
This book was exciting. The couples had their ups and downs, but they worked it out. It was a struggle sometimes because of outside jealousy and envy. The women were just as stubborn as the men with their independent ways. They finally got it together, but ......
Man, what a ride! This book had a lot of components to make it pop. I was clutching my pearls quite often as I read. I think my favorite couple was TaNia and Lemonte. I am intrigued by their drama because I live my life on the safe side, lol! I didn't realize it was a series until I was already locked in. If you like guns, a lil hood and some crazy love, this might be up your alley. The one thing that was new for me was that as I listened, the dialog didn't always match the book. Now I gotta finish the series.
Dnf,begin with horrifying violent attack that causes miscarriage.I am no shy flower or prude and have enjoyed many urban titles, but found as this then proceeded with relentless ott, crass Vernacular, not my jam. Also the narration was all male, even during female portions .Odd....
I wish we would have gotten to the point a lot quicker. I’m fine with the build up/suspense of knowing who is actually behind their problems but it’s not a lot of details given. The story is being told but not explain or verbally shown. I think we know everyone’s up bring and who they used to work for but who do they sell drugs for now. There is a lot of connections that are being missed. I think the plot is excellent. The story it self is missing the mark!

Tori has loved the same man for what seems like her entire life. High school sweethearts, Keyton and Tori, find themselves married and deeply in love with each other. With a list of broken promises and lies told by Keyton, Tori finds herself at a crossroad. Does she stay and try to salvage her marriage with the love of her life or move on from the pain and turmoil she faces?
TaNia is as independent as they come, full figured and beautiful! She keeps her business in order and doesn't depend on anyone for anything. After losing her father, she moves back home and adjusts to taking care of her mother. In the midst of all the changes in her life, Lemonte is on a mission to make her his. He keeps his eye on her, and over the years, he's done with just being her friend. He wants a lot more, whether TaNia is ready or not!
Winter has always depended on someone whether it was her parents or the man she's in a relationship with. She no longer wants to be that girl, so she makes some changes and learns to stand on her own two feet without her parents' traditional values getting in her way. She lives a lifestyle that she's not particularly fond of, but it makes her goals and dreams that much easier to accomplish. When she lands on Demarco's radar, she has to make a choice between love and comfort.
This was very intriguing and fast paced story. I was pulled in immediately with all the drama these characters go through. Tori, TaNia, and Winter are all independent, strong-headed, and spoiled rotten yet their men love them immensely and are not hesitant to show it. I loved that!! I also loved how they were not afraid to go after what and who they wanted. I also loved Keyton! He is so cocky and loving at the same time. To me that is so sexy. I believe the story was well told, the plot was great, and drama drips from the pages! Definitely a great read!
With love there is complexity. Something that Tori and Key are still learning. Tori is still holding on to a loss that continues to curse the love she has for Key. While Key does everything in his power to make it work Tori is just not for it. TaNia is what you deem as sweet, but not to be fooled with hardcore love. She has also faced a loss also which in turn makes her feel less. As if no one loves her because of what she looks like. However that's not the case. An old high school classmate who's been after her for years finally gets his chance but TaNia has to be sure he will protect her heart and her body. Then there is Winter, just because of her lifestyle that does not mean she doesn't deserve love. Her lover however doesn't know what it is to truly love thereby throwing a rift in their relationship. All of these couples go through struggle but the real drama is the past lifestyle of Mon, Key and Marco. Just when they thought things were good and celesrations were in order, here comes angry and hostility spilling out. So much so a life who that never felt truly love could be gone.
Sometimes I have to laugh at the lack of research these authors do. Since when did a size 10, 12, or 14 constitute as being fat? That's the average size of a woman. I am 5'6 a size 10 far from fat. Now that size may be fat on someone 4'9 or 5'0. This is not the first time I have read something like this. I laughed harder at the other author because the chick was 5'7 size 12 and was full figured. When authors don't do their research they look dumb. I guess the numbers sound big so they go with it. All in all it was a pretty good read. I loved the dudes in the book. The women not so much. They were the most complaining, whining, bitchy, insecure and ungrateful females ever. How any dude could put up with them is beyond me, I guess that's why it's fiction. When u get involved with a dude in the game u accept all that comes with it the good and bad. U can't just ball out on his money but wanna jump ship when it gets rough. U never believe what comes out of another woman's mouth when it comes to ur man. Tori was good for that.
I normally don't read urban romance, but I loved this book. It was funny, sweet and so full of love. Tori and Key were going thru an emotional rollercoaster, dealing with their loss, but Key was determined to hold onto Tori. Nina and Mon finally get together, then all hell breaks loose, then Marco and Winter were so cute together, but Marco decides to confess his love for her too late. Can't believe Deshon is going to make us wait to see how it all ends.
When they say you'll fight for who or what you want it is definitely not a lie. In this story there are 3 couples at different stages in their relationships, trying to keep it together through the trials and tribulations that threaten to possibly tear them apart. Will evil win, will love prevail or will relationship statuses change leaving all parties involved with broken hearts and sorrow. I'm to the next one. Keep up the great work Deshon❣
nice read. of course it's another typical drug storyline which is a bit of a bore. I was hoping to read a book where people made an honest living for themselves for once but I guess not. Anyhow, I get real agitated when characters (winter) act like they have no backbone when it comes to being disrespected. Her ex was comfortable enough to disrespect her because she was too passive. even though he got the ass whoopin he deserved she could've handled it better in my opinion.
Everyone coming for them I knew that Mon was drug by Delia. I hope that Winter is okay. Tori and Key I don't think that they are going to make it. Lemonte finally got Nia. Winter and Marco. Someone always trying to break a couple up. I hope all couples survived the Relationships Status. Waiting on part two
I love this book drama and action going in it what a page turner this was. I can't wait to read the next part of this book. I loved all the couples but I do wish that we heard from Demarco and Winter more in this book but I am wishing for all the couples to get their relationships worked out.
I was really upset with that ending. Winter has to be okay. Out of all of the people, why did it have to be her that got shot? Each of the couples had a lot going on in their lives, but I think that they were really trying to keep it together. Can’t wait to read book two.
I liked Keyton's determination. That boy was fighting for his wife. However, Tori had a lot to sort through and had a right to feel the way she was feeling. Not understanding that whole Delia thing. Crazy. Then poor Marco and Winter.
Relationships friends and circumstances Friends and relationships intertwined with street life and trying to get ahead How to deal with love dating and streetwise
I have become an avid fan of this author. The storyline is interesting. The twists and turns make it hard for me to put my kindle down. I am in love with the three love stories and cannot wait to read all three books.
Dang Marco is stupid!! Don't know when you got a good girl until it's gone I hope everything is ok with Veronica.. Keyton and Tori had the best relationship to me. He tickled me when he was trying to get her pregnant. On to part two!! #UIP

Excellent book and the cliffhanger left me wanting more! Ms. Dreams is a talented underrated author who never fails to entertain! My heart broke for Winter and I can't wait to see what happens in part two!
What the f!ck!!!!! Omg! Winter can’t !!! LORDT! First of all Demarco is bae ALL THE WAY! My heart just dropped into my invisible red bottoms bihhh! I just can’t take this ending! I gotta read more !
Book one went quickly. Cannot wait to get through this series to see if these couples actually make it. They all got a lot of drama within each one. Who is the culprit behind all their troubles? We shall see.
I enjoyed this book tremendously. I couldn't put it down. This is my first time reading a book by this author and I loved it. I can't wait to read Part 2. .
