Women don't want stuff. They want your attention. Kids don't want things. They can only play with so many toys at one time. What they want is their parents to pay attention to them and hold them and laugh with them. That's what everybody has ever wanted from the beginning of time.
I thought this quote was funny and so true....
"Never in the history of marriage ceremonies has any minister ever said, 'You may kiss the bride and be on your way to an easy life.' Whoever said 'Life's a breeze should be smacked! That person didn't have a clue. Life isn't easy. Just when you get close to having it figured out, they haul you away in a hearse.
Do not reject charity, nor look down upon it, but be worthy of it; and if you rise to a higher station, do not forget to show charity to others.
Sometimes when we least expect it, a small cross proves a lovely crown, a seemingly unimportant event becomes a lifelong experience, or a stranger becomes a friend.

A great Christmas book with four amazing stories. I love them all, however my favorite is The Christmas shoes it always makes me cry. It's a great gift for any book lover. Highly recommend it.

I have not read all of these books but The Christmas Shoes & The Christmas Train are superb! This is bound to make an awesome book set gift!
