I continue to try to increase my limited knowledge of the ocean. I was completely unaware that the first decent into the Challenger deep was in 1958 was made by Auguste Piccard in the Trieste. The next decent in an improved Trieste by Jacque Piccard and Don Walsh was made in Jan., 1960. Now I must go in search of the movie titled James Cameron's Deepsea Challenger 3D based on Cameron's solo trip 35,787 feet into the Challenger Deep on March 26, 2012!
