This book is a useful tool for children being introduced to reading. The teacher should read the parent's page and allow the students to read the child's page together as a class. The child's page features pictures with one or two words that match the picture. This makes it easier for the students to identify the words they are reading.

My children love these little books. They thoroughly enjoy each and every story, as if they are all unique and individual without any cause for similarity among them. Even though sometimes, they might seem tedious and repetitive to me as a parent, I do enjoy being able to read short-stories to my children that are clean and respective.

For kindergarten children, I would use this book in the classroom to help children identify items that they use and see everyday. The items the book identifies are clothes, parts of the body, family members, animals, etc. The words in the book are big to help children recognize them.
