My plate is pretty full. I’m a biker and a musician. I’ve got a 9 to 5 job, lots of friends and associates, and a busy “home life.”
The last thing I need is any more complications—or any unnecessary attention. But, unfortunately, that’s just what I got…
Up until now, I’ve managed to keep my identity and personal life a secret, but some snarky reporter recently caught wind of my music and started writing about it. And, now, I’ve got fans and groupies coming at me from all angles, including one who just might get more than she’s after…
Lexi
I swear, I’m not a “groupie” or anything, but I’m totally fascinated with a local musician named John “the Butcher” Crane.
He plays the guitar like a god, and is one sexy devil when he does it. But, of course, he isn’t perfect. He’s totally unapproachable and keeps to himself—and, I, for one, am not okay with that. I’m determined to meet him and find out about the man behind the music, and I’m not gonna stop at anything until I do…
Lexi is an idiot you jumps to conclusions and forgives too easily. There are some things about this book that drove me crazy. 1) peple use cabs in Los Angeles on very rare occasions. Like hardly ever. Especially not as a means to and from work and your only transportation. 2) do some research on motorcycle clubs. Heck, read another MC romance. They hate being called a gang and they do not have a gang boss but a president.
This one pulls more at a person's heart then the previous two. Like a couple of other series I've read recently this has a overall arch which you probably have to read the books In order to understand but if you're not really interested in the end game arch, I suppose you could read them from a stand a lone perspective. However considering that the characters over lap, it will best suit to read in order. On to Hannah I wonder if everything will be revealed.
I liked this series but I don't like how this book ended. I have more questions than answers. What Lexi is doing for Sonja is great and I want to know more. I was thinking he was cheating on her before I knew who sonja' s was.
Finally finished these three books. Let's just say book 3 was the best of the trilogy. That might just be that I'm a sucker for a sick kid/person. I do love how this "gang" did business & I understand why they wanted to stay out of the papers. Even if they were good performers. This book did better than a basic 3, it was more of a 3.5-3.8. This book alone was worth the buy. But it still had multiple editing errors in my personal opinion, I'm not a scholar so don't take my word on the subject. I also had a personal problem with the writing style/layout still. But in hindsight I see why the author chose to tell these stories the way they did. You cannot tell both sides of the thoughts of these characters at the same time so the author has to go back in time to do so. I will give this author kudos in retelling these stories w/o word for word reenactment.
Lexi has been dreaming about Butcher for years, following his gigs and hoping to be noticed, all in vain. Butcher barely notices anyone; aloof and unapproachable, she thinks that she’ll never get to speak to him let alone find some alone time together. When they finally meet up they find a chemistry but their relationship is plagued by trouble. This is another great story in the series and it has its own uniqueness, and a fantastic set of new characters. Butcher has a past that has indented on his future and Lexi can’t seem to help but jump to conclusions. Once again the book is well-written with a great plot. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series because the ongoing story has me hooked.

First off these books are slow. Hammer was the most boring. Gator was the best out of the series it was more of romance then an action book. Butcher was ok not enough action. The concept of these books are bad. The are not an MC at all. The background story is non existant. To many questions not enough answers. Also all the action happens with out any thing. 3 weeks later then you get a bad recount of the that part it was depressing. If you can't write action then don't try at all
This is the third Wolves MC book I've read by this author, and although it's a change from my regular reading choices, I have really enjoyed them. This book was delightfully exciting, and although stand alone -thank heaven's - meshes perfectly with the series. I think I'll keep going. I never leave spoilers, so READ THIS BOOK !
Another pleasant motorcycle club book. Boys will be boys and play with themselves all day and then they meet a girl, no, the girl and life smoothed out and all is wonderful. Just like real life. Not!
There are really good people in this world. What Lexie did for Stacey was so wonderful. In this rough world there are still caring and compassionate people.
This is the third book in the Riding with Wolves Series. I loved that this book is very well written and the characters are very well developed. This book was very hard for me to put down. I look forward to reading more books by Faith Winslow.
the story wasn't bad but I kind of thought this book was just thrown in there. there wasn't any build up to butchers character and im not sure it even fit in with the other stories.
