Everybody in Dilly’s world wants her, but no one wants her more than Morlan, a Dark Warlock who has started a civil war in her realm. Why? Because she is the key that can open the Chamber of Dark Spells! She winds up in Zelda’s world—in Zelda’s attic to be precise. There is a hitch. What happens to Dilly’s realm, will effect the Human Realm and the Fae World as well. Enter Kallem, a Fae prince whose mission is to keep Dilly out of Morlan’s sights. Dilly is not the sort of witch that can sit still in an attic. While hidden away in Zelda’s world, she exposes herself when Zelda and her friends are attacked by vengeful vampires. Morlan has already brutally murdered her father and now means to find and take Dilly’s mother hostage. Everyone will pull Dilly in a different direction? Dilly has a mind of her own.

REVIEW
This story is about a coven of Immortal Witches who find themselves under attack by a horrible Dark Warlock named Morlan. This Warlock took Dilly' father away from her and has caused her mother to flee to a safe haven. Her grandfather wants to protect her but Dilly is not some weakling no sir.
In this story, we meet a wide variety of paranormal beings. Shifters, Vamps, Fae, and of course Immortal Witches. Dilly meets Kallem and well he is so different from those Dilly is used to. Can she trust him? She hates having this key inside her why her? Can she escape the tie to Morlan? This story gives us a little mystery, a whole lot of shock and some hot romance. But we do get a cliffhanger. I have read many books if not all books this author has written and this one I have to say is a bit different but yet the same as she brings characters from previous books over and that is always a plus for me. Claudy Conn
Dilly Crescent of the Rucker Realm of Immortal Witches finds her father dying and can do nothing to help. Since her father is dead, she is now the Key to the Chamber of Darkness & Forbidden Spells. Morlan, a powerful warlock had killed her father with a Death Sword and knows Dilly will now be the Key. He has wanted her for a long time and now more than ever so he can use her powers. Her grandfather is a powerful warlock himself and has sent Dilly's mother to a safe place that is warded against Morlan. Next, he sends Dilly to the Human Realm to keep her safe from Morlan. She winds up in the attic of Zelda the witch's house where there is powerful magic which will also help conceal Dilly. There she meets Prince Kellam who appears before her and said he's there to help her, but can she trust him or anyone now?
This story has it all, hot romance, suspense and surprises galore! I loved this story and love Dilly & Kellam. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down until I finished it. This is book one and so looking forward to the next one, so it does end in a cliffhanger. Claudy never disappoints me with any of her stories no matter the genre.
I love the premise of this series. Robyn Peterman is a fantastic, humorous writer who has created many creatively funny worlds and here she is inviting other authors to play in her sand box (so to speak).
Claudy's offering ties Robyn's world to her own in a magically intriguing way.
Dilly is on the run from Morlan, a Dark Warlock who has set his sights on her and is determined to get her no matter the cost, when she inadvertently activates powers that she didn't know she possessed and ends up in another realm where she encounters new people who could be friend or foe. We meet ne characters and connect with old friends and Claudy even manages to include mention of one of her most well loved characters and it feels like he belongs.
I can't wait to see where the story takes us next, it was a fascinating start.
Magic and Mayhem: Witch in the Attic by Claudy Conn Witching Series Book One Dilly Crescent of the Rucker Realm is in big trouble. An evil warlock wants to take over their realm and he plans on having Dilly as his mate. No thanks! Her grandfather sends her through a portal to protect her.
While hiding out in some strange realm, she meets Kellam. If only she would have studied more than boys during school, she might know what he is. And if she can truly trust anyone besides her mother and grandfather.

If you like a spirited, spunky female lead, who is also a witch and a sexy, alpha Fae Prince, this is the book for you. Dilly's world is completely changed after her father is murdered by the Warlock Morlan. Her grandfather sends her through a portal to Zelda's attic, a human witch. Dilly, a witch also from her realm, doesn't know what to do. She needs to find her mother and grandfather and avenge her father's death. She is also now the key to the Chamber of Dark Spells, though she's been trained as a warrior, she has no training on how to use her new powers from being the key. Out of the blue a Fae Prince comes to help her out. Prince Kallem has been watching her realm and knows that keeping Dilly safe, not only will save her world, but the Human and Fae worlds as well. First he must earn her trust and get her to accept his help. Being the independent, strong witch she is, provides a challenge for Prince Kellum. Also there is undeniable attraction between them, that they cannot deny. I could not put this book down, had to read it in one sitting, only breaking for work. It is a first book in a series, that does leave you with a cliffhanger. I thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Written by the talented Claudy Conn, I know you will enjoy it too.
This is an Amazing story by Claudy Conn. What I liked the most about 'Witch in the Attic' is how descriptive the characters are and how they interact with each other. Miss Conn has a way with words that reel me in and keep me there.
Dilly Cresent is a young white witch who finds herself in a dilemma that she is determined to get out of... one way or another. Enter Kallem, a Daoine Fae Prince, into the works and it takes off on an intriguing and magical journey. Dolly's inner thoughts are of mixed emotions... Kallem is hell bent in keeping her safe and away from Morlan's dark, evil, and greedy hands.
The witty one liners had me laughing. I thoroughly enjoyed this story... More Please?
I loved reading Witch in the Attic. I found the dynamic between the characters and the storyline quite enjoyable and look forward to reading Rocket Witch in October
When her realm is invaded by Morlan and her father is murdered Dilly is transported to the human realm by her grandfather. It is here Dilly will meet Kallem and find out the truth about her family’s heritage and her place in their future, but will it be in time!!
I wish I could leave 5 stars. I really do. However, as another reviewer noted, I'm left scratching my head. It was incredibly redundant and quite poorly edited. Not at all what I'm used to from the author, who usually writes a lot better than this. 40% of the filler could've been cut, and it would have read more smoothly, and would've been a more pleasant read. I know the author isn't Robyn Peterman (there's only one, and she is simply beyond awesome!), but as this author currently is writing in Robyn's world, I'd have expected it to have been written better. I'm hesitant to purchase the 2nd one, but I will admit as to being curious as to the outcome.
A great short story, that gives us a look at the characters of Rucker, the realm that Dilly and her parents had lived, along with her wizard grandfather, until the evil Morlan killed Dilly's father. Morlan, it appears, is doing a power grab. Dilly is next in his sights, although he has more dominating ideas for her. Along the journey of the story, we meet some other magical characters, and although we leave on a cliffhanger, one would imagine these newly acquired friends will come to the young witches aide.
I enjoyed this book with the tie ins to Robyn Peterman’s stories. A very interesting and well written story about Dilly who is taken from her world of Rucker and placed in the human world. You have a bit of a war going on in her home world. Such a good mystery but you will encounter Zelda, Mac , Jeeves and more. Dilly will meet and male fae whom she becomes very attached to. The story is excellent but leaves you wanting more. I enjoyed and do recommend this book!
This is a fun exciting story about a young witch who has been sent to the human realm to keep her safe. A Royal Doaine fae looking for the chalice she was using to drink her milk also found her. He is going to help her learn her powers before the warlock finds her and her family. This has a cliffhanger. Enjoy I did.
Dilly's an immortal witch from the Rucker Realm of Immortal Witches. Her Father has been murdered by Morlan, an evil warlock. Dilly's is now the Key. Morlan wants Dilly's powers. Dilly's Grandfather sends her and her Mother to the Human Realm warded and hidden from Morlan. Dilly meets her mate while there. A Fae Prince no less! Lots of romance and suspense. Very good!
What an adventure. Dilly has a lot going on and Kallem is there to help. Their attraction was intense from the start. I can't wait to read what happens next.
Dilly is from Rucker, a realm of witches and other supernaturals. War has started and her grandfather sent her off to the human realm to hide in a healer witch's attic. As she's trying to figure out her way back home to help with the war and avenge her father's death, in sweeps the absolutely gorgeous Daoine Fae Prince Kellam. Is he friend or foe? Grab a copy and find out! This is a great short read. I love the characters and the action in the book. I can't wait to see what's going to happen next.
I have been an avid reader of Claudy Conn’s books for a while now, and she did not disappoint with this story!!! Magic and Mayhem: Witch in the Attic is another wonderfully written book! It is the story of Dilly Crescent, a very powerful witch, and the evil warlock Morlan, who wants her power. This book was full of pleasant surprises and also had a wonderful romantic story line. This story was well written, and I highly recommend it to others!
A great first book in this new series! Dilly is a powerful witch with an evil warlock after her because she's the key to unlocking powerful magic. Her Grandfather sends her to the human realm where she lives in a witches coven attic. There she meets a Prince who says he can protect her. But, can she trust him? Lots of love and romance happen!
I love a short, fun read to brighten things up from all the intense books that I usually read!! Fun, sassy characters!! Exciting plot!! I can't wait to get my hands on the next book!
Wow this novella was packed with action and suspense as Dilly learns about what and who she really is from a Fae Prince while hiding in Zelda's attic. It is a sweet romance between Kallem and Dilly while she learns about her family and why her Gramps hid her in Zelda's attic. A fun fast paced read.
This well written story is the first book by this author that I have read. It was a quick read and there is a cliff hanger ending, but the rest of the story is available.
Another great story in this kindle world...I look forward the the ending of the story. She left me hanging, but in a good way. October can't come soon enough!
I wasn't sure if I would stick to the book with the way it started but I'm SO glad that I did. It just works! Once again, a book by the amazing Claudy Conn that I could not put down!
