From the perspective of a B2 learner, I gotta say it's a really light reading. I've never tried read an entire English book. All I used to do was reading mangas, manhwas and manhuas in English language, which otherwise I couldn't read (my native language is Italian): that's how I learned English out of school teaching.
I must thank myself for reading manga (or else I wouldn't know English rn), but that kind of reading never led me to face 'hard' and descriptive reading. So whenever I approach English books, I tend to get overwhelmed by the amount of new (and known) words, which I end up to search on the vocabulary (to make sure I know the word's meaning right and to get to know the new word's meaning).
I haven't found this book difficult, neither I ended checking up word's meaning every time. But as Olly Richard says: languages, and so English language, are made up of 'blocks' of words; the important thing is to understand the plot, not every single word.
Also, the stories were too interesting. I wanted some of them to never finish! Thank you Olly

É um ótimo livro para quem já tem um pouco de vocabulário e quer aprender mais lendo inglês. O vocabulário não é rebuscado. Além de entreter, o autor consegue dar ótimas dicas para quem quer iniciar leituras em inglês.

Com o meu pouco conhecimento consegui compreender todas as histórias de maneira integral. Super recomendo para quem ainda não lê livros em inglês, mas já tem algum conhecimento e que se aventurar.

A really easy and pleasant reading without the feeling of frustration that you don't recognize the tons of foreign words. Not with this book :)
