I missed most of this series the first time around, so I was excited to read the first book in the Baba Yaga Saga series, How To Train A Witch. This is where it all begins. I read the last novella in the series some time ago, stating then it would be best to read them in order. I still would give the same advice today.
This story is delightfully funny with more emphasis on the romance between Jezibaba and Demian than on the protection of two ten year olds. I have said it before but no one writes tongue-in-cheek humor better than Donna McDonald. How To Train A Witch is a great example of this. If like me you missed this early, you will want to grab it now.
The publisher/author gave me a complimentary ARC of the book which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A powerful witch and a warlock (or 8) walk into a Dragon . . .
The current Baba Yaga had learned from the Witches Council that the next Baba is in danger and needs protection. Otherwise this one will never get to retire. What they DIDN'T tell her was there are two of them and they are only 10 years old. She is pissed (they can't take over for about another hundred years)! And that's just chapter one.
I'm not one to get into the Kindle Worlds books because they are generally very short and add up $$$wise. But this one was so cute I couldn't resist. The only thing I would like to know is, where in the Paris, TX timeframe does this land?

This book is laugh out loud funny, after reading just a couple of chapters at the end of Switching Hour by Robyn Peterman, I absolutely wanted more and was not disappointed in the least.

Loved it!
This was so well written! I was unsure about the premise of these three books, they looked interesting but could anyone but the original author of Carol and Hildy really do justice to their early Years? To me the answer is a resounding YES! I can and do HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES!

Once I gave up on the idea that the book would be more about the girls and Jezibaba and admitted the story will be mostly based on the storyline of Jezibaba and Demian, I started to enjoy it. It was fun, interesting fantasy with dragons. A nice look into the past of two characters from the original Magic and Mayhem serie. And Jezibaba is amazing :D

Well, did I like the characters? Yes. But there was something that irked me about this very short novel which was it took so long to finish it. It was okay. I might read the next ones…but honestly, not sure.

This world is so much fun. I love reading tales from it. And Baba Yaga's character is so interesting, great to find out more about how and what she is. Surprise, Surprise. Will read more in this world for sure.

I started laughing in the first chapter and never stopped !! Even when the Jezibaba and Professor Hottie were getting hot and heavy it was a fun read !! Carol and Hildy are two ten years Olds who are slated to be the next "Baba yagas", the keepers of magic, the police of all things that misuse magic and need to be locked away or turned into toads ( the current Babayaga's choice of critter). But first Damien and Elanora must get them old enough to take care of themselves, learn not only to use their magic, but to have the Amazons teach them how to physically handle things like swords, bows and martial arts. Damien, the school Headmaster is a Dragon, Elanora is supposedly a witch, you'll need to read this 5☆ book to find out exactly who is what and how they got there, it is a series, so we're left with a bit of a cliffhanger, but that just makes the wait even more fun !! I recommend this book to anyone who loved Harry Potter, or the television series Charmed, it's a keeper !! I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

This book was delightful, funny and full of twists. Jezibaba is a spitfire to say the least. She is funny, bossy, often goofy but a awesome character all around. She doesn't take any grief off anyone. Not to mention her body begins to hum for Professor Hottie when she goes to Witchery U school. Professor Hottie or Damien Smoke is a dragon. Oh my is all I can say. I'd like him to breathe fire on me. He is in hot pursuit of Jeziababa all while she attempts to protect Carol and Hildy. Yes Jezibaba has two replacements. Hildy likes turning people into toads and Carol is plain mean. Someone is after the girl witches and Jezibaba with the help of Damien must find out who and why. Damien plans to heat things up in the process. His dragon has never been attracted to a witch. Jezibaba doesn't plan to give in so quickly. She has warded off dragons for good reason. It's forbidden and her Goddess Morgana the Red wouldn't approve. So in all the chaos can two opposites attract for a fling and have time to save 2 little witches in the process?

This is one of the Kindle Worlds Novella based on Robyn Peterman's Magic & Mayhem novels. Definitely download these for a pick-your- mood- up-read. Donna McDonald has written an entertaining saga based on what happened before the Switching Hour by Peterman. Do not really have to read Switching Hour before this it will just give you some background on characters from that novel. Head witch Jezibaba travels to oversee two girls that are destined to replace her in the future. She goes because threats have been made on these girls Carol and Hildy. Arriving at the school the girls attend, Jezibaba meets Professor Damien Smoke or as she refers to him Professor Hottie!!! It's a paranormal romance, with cute and funny narrative and an amazing plot. Twists and turns make this a quick but quite enjoyable read. Can't wait for more in the Magic and Mayhem World!!!! Given copy for an honest review.

Jezibaba is ready to hand over her duties and and hang up her witch hat. But something is going on in the council of witches and she now has to protect two young witches who haven't even came into the full use of their power. One of the two will take her place in the future. When she shows up to the campus the girls are attending classes at she notices a very hot looking man or better yet a hotter than hell dragon. She has vowed to stay away from any kind of relationship with them and with her little secret it may be best...or would it. And on top of that she has to keep the two kids safe! Just another day in the life of the Jezibaba!
I really loved this book! I couldn't put it down once I started it. I had to just go ahead and finish it! Donna you did such a wonderful job! I loved it!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Okay. Bottom line. This story made me laugh! Some of the lines in it are just hilarious but I won’t tell you any of them because they may contain spoilers. And you really have to read ‘em for yourself. Jezibaba, the most powerful witch ever born, is strong and snarky and powerful and gorgeous, of course. And she meets up with Professor Smoke, aka Professor Hottie, and they generate much heat and smoke. The kids are great, Hildy and Carol, and their personalities are one of the many things that made me smile. Pretty fun addition to the Magic and Mayhem world, although this is a standalone story that I hope leads to more. More of what happens to the characters, more magic, more mayhem…you name it!

What a sweet read. I cheered, I laughed. I really enjoyed it. I can't wait for the next to come out. The author did a good job of describing
the characters. You felt for the Jezibaba, Elenora, the most powerful witch, trying to keep her successors alive. Life for her was hard, She has a lot of responsibility to the magic kingdom. Then you have her attraction to the hot professor at the Witch U. Well it was funny and sweet and a feel good ending, with more to come I am sure. Great read.

This is the first book I have read of Robyn P.s Magic & Mayhem Kindle World series. And I loved it. I wasn't sure what to expect. I didn't know if all the authors would have the same sense of humor Robyn does. But Donna McDonald sure does and I loved this book and can't wait for the next one I'm her new series, Baba Yaga Saga. I loved the her characters of Hildy and Carol and how she filled in how their relationship came to be. Looking forward to reading more about Professor Hottie and Jezibaba.

This book is my first exposure to this writer and I am. Very pleased! Part of the Magic and Mayhem world, this writers style of humor perfectly complements the comedy I have grown to love! The story of the jezibaba and the professor is picture perfect! Hilly and Carol could not have been cast any more spot on for the future replacements! Absolutely loved this book one and happily looking forward to book two! This brand of snarky humor is a sure fire recommend to other readers! This voluntary review is based against a copy given to me.

A super fun book to read. Witches, dragons, crazy spells, a mystery, and a romance... How much more could be fit into a story? This book is part of the Magic and Mayhem kindle world and it is a perfect fit into that world. I love Damien and Jezibaba otherwise known as Elenora's story. It has so many twists that you might be dizzy, but I'm excited to read the next book and find out what happens next.

Hilarious & Glorious!
Creating the Jezibaba must have been great fun, but making her a complex and oddly loving creature was a masterpiece of imagination! Then add a loyal dragon and two impish sweetheart chosen, & this book became marvellously wonderful. This entertaining series is a must have for lovers of magic and mayhem, and the series named for them.

Magic & Mayhem Indeed
At first I wasn't sure I'd like this book but it turned out to be fun, fast paced and interesting from the very beginning. I was afraid there would be too much romance between Jezababa an Professor Hottie but that moved just as quickly as everything else. Good storyline, well rounded characters, and again a quick read.

Might be my favorite!
I loved this story! It might be my favorite, but I've only read half of the books so far.
I love Hildy and Carole as little girls. Their spunk and innocence is refreshing.
