After nearly freezing to death on their trek north, Brooke and her small group wake to find themselves in civilization. They have found the utopian city, hidden deep in a remote stretch of Canada. They have heat, food, comfortable beds, clean clothes, and security. Finally, they have made it.

As Brooke recovers, she meets the mysterious survivors who inhabit this city, and who vie for her love. She trains again, enhancing her fighting skills greatly under the wing of a new mentor, and matures into a woman.

Brooke soon realizes, though, that being safe and secluded is not all there is to life. When she hears rumors of survivors underground, deep in America, fighting to restore order from the inside-her Dad possibly amongst them-Brooke finds herself facing the choice of a lifetime: to live in this perfect place, free and safe for the rest of her days, or to embark and fight for others' freedom. It would be a journey, she knows, back through post-apocalyptic America, this time traveling west, across its breadth, in search of the rumored survivors, of her father. She would have to fight her way through a land transformed by apocalypse, try to survive a never-ending stream of dangers, roving packs of violent gangs, with few resources and fewer supplies. It would be a two thousand mile trek to a certain suicide. And if she leaves this utopia, she knows, there is no coming back.

Yet that is not the worst of it: something else lies in her way. Arena 3. The greatest arena left in what was once America, the most brutal and dangerous of them all, the one from which no one survives. The one, she knows, that would test the very limit of all that she is.

Will she risk it all for others?

An action-packed dystopian thriller featuring a tough female heroine whom readers worldwide have fallen in love with, ARENA THREE is the shocking conclusion to the bestselling Survival Trilogy, and one that will leave you turning pages late into the night.

I felt short-changed on this one. The first two books where exciting, though flawed with a certain simplicity of writing. But I ignored it because the story line was engrossing and suspenseful.
Arena 3 had potential, however the grammar and incorrect use of words was very off-putting. Considering that this series is also meant for younger readers I would have thought that the author at least would edit properly.
There are many unrealistic situations that suspend belief. As one reviewer commented: It seemed as if the author was keen to get to the end of it. This author has published many books so inexperience cannot be used as an excuse for this letdown.
A big disappointment. And waste of money.
SPOILER ALERT
There is no way someone can ride a motorbike with a dislocated arm and break chains by riding over them! Hmm. Very unlikely. Just one example of many.

Surprisingly the best out of the three books, still absolutely horrible

Although lessons hadn't been learned that caused future problems and possibly unnecessary battles, this was still an enjoyable and suspenseful story.

It is a world of human making, the dark side of the majority ruling but there are still a few who understand the right thing to do. Both the past and the present do not portray human behaviour in a favourable light; just a glimmer of hope remains.

Much of this trilogy was unbelievable and yet, being the nature of fiction, it was written in such a way, with engaging characters, that it became acceptable.

The atmosphere of arena life was very well done, demonstrating just how despicable humans could be, especially those who were not affected by radiation.

Overall, an excellent trilogy, if harrowing, and despite typos, its writing style made for a compelling read.

Highly recommended.

The ending to the series.... gotta admit that, while the story overall was great and impossible to put down, the conclusion was still a little bit disappointing. I mean, the series as a whole was amazing despite little things here and here, and I couldn't put it down.

This is an epic finish for this apocalyptic trilogy featuring a young lady and her friends, living in a world destroyed by a nuclear war. Some survivors of that war became like animals, feasting in the terror and fear of weak ones, making then fight to death for entertainment in arenas.
In this final book, our heroine and her companions finally reach Canada and they find the city they were looking for, but did not know if it really existed. It is an army shelter, taken care by a commander that is very restrict about receiving new members in his community. After a while living there, they receive a communication from another community in Texas and they figure out that there might be other survivors struggling to recompose their lives after the war. Brooke thinks the message came from her father and now the dilemma she faces is if she tries to reach her father and work with him to restore America or if she stays in the security of the compound they found.
The author managed to bring into this story situations that will keep you hooked from the very first page until the end. Savor each turn of page, because it is really worth it!
I recommend this book to the permanent library of all readers that enjoy a well written thriller. You will not be disappointed.

I wasn't sure what to expect after the first 2 books. Happily, this is a fitting end to the trilogy.

Book 3 develops a more human approach to the characters, giving them more personality which can be both funny but also frustrating (Brooke's endless angst over feelings for certain characters). The realism has been improved as a whole, there are pretty much no superhuman episodes at all now and they suffer quite a lot - Certain scenes however hint back briefly to book 1 I.E. That can't happen (motorbike section) .
The pace is a lot slower than the first two books, but does build quite well to a surprising Arena battle. The backstory is filled in and explains the reasons why certain things took place, and the ending leaves the trilogy feeling complete.

Thankfully, the errors plaguing books 1 and especially book 2 are at a minimum. It appears that more attention was paid in the overall completion of this particular episode.

Although not the greatest series I have ever read, there is enough to keep you wanting to find out what happens, and the evolution of the characters, although predictable in places, keeps things bearable to want to read on until the end.

Dont waste your time or money, was a very rushed book skipping vitial pionts in the story line and wasnt as good as the previous 2 in the series. Took me 3 hours to finish this book and I felt ripped off, so cliche and the hero of the story always wins..... for a post nuclear World War this was so underated.

My favorite book out of all three. The ending was painful. I was rooting for Ryan.

The last installment of Morgan Rice's Arena Trilogy was a bit choppy, but solid overall. Brooke and her small group continue their trek north into Canada to find a safe utopian city they had heard rumors of. After some serious life and death challenges along the way, they reach "the fort" and for the first time in a long while, they have food, comfortable beds, clean clothes, and the security afforded by Fort Noix.

They could have stayed and lived out their lives in safety, but after receiving a mysterious radio communication that there maybe another safe utopian city in Texas, Brooke and a small group leave Canada and begin the arduous trip to the Southern United States hoping to unite these utopian safe zones with the hope to recapture and reunite what once was the United States of America. Of course, there will be many life and death challenges that the group encounters along the way.

Overall, I liked Arena Three, aside from the aforementioned choppiness and a couple challenges that were pretty far-fetched. Pleased I made it through all three novels and would certainly recommend it to others looking for a dystopian saga involving likeable characters, life and death challenges and a fairly realistic ending.

After the second one in the trilogy, I wasn't sure how this final installment was going to go. The first two got a bit repetitive. Every time the characters seemed to be doing okay, they would get thrown back into basically the same situation all over again. This third entry moved a bit away from the repetition, although parts of it were still repetitive, especially early in the book.

Now, the ending was intriguing as well as fairly unexpected. I doubt most would agree with the ultimate solution. If one thinks about it in the abstract, it is definitely rather shocking and depressing.

Verdict: If you enjoy dystopian novels, you'll like these. Interestingly enough, this was the first book series where I was thinking it would make a great movie series.

Engaging characters and story. All 3 books weren’t super realistic, had some typos, had repetitive moments, and sped through some critical moments. Nevertheless I really enjoyed reading the series and appreciated the fast pace through it all. Even though every chapter seemed to end with something like “I don’t expect to get out of this one” it was fresh enough to keep me wanting more. The main characters really should’ve died on like day 2 of the story and would’ve required super human abilities to continue on with their injuries sustained. But whatever, it’s optimistic fiction, and it was entertaining for sure.

Of the three survival books, this one was by far the best. For a change, the love theme that ran through and detracted from the first two books finally came into its own. My one peeve- Bree’s age is wrong. If the reader can look past that, this was a thoroughly enjoyable read that bought it all together in a nice, simple fashion and left my utterly content that the story was finished, no hidden ‘what ifs, and the satisfaction of having read an enjoyable trilogy - even with the horrific editing or lack there of, in the second book.

My Amazon review: Morgan Rice is easily one of my favorite authors! I found Arena 1 and the Vampire journals and was hooked! It's like each book sucks you in and you want to keep reading non-stop to see how the story ends. I was soooooo ecstatic to hear about there being an Arena 3 in the works. I had no clue it would come this soon though! It's soooooo good you won't regret it! Thank you Morgan Rice and if you're not on the e-mail list what are you waiting for!!!

Wow wow wow

I am in love with this series and am very upset to see it end. Reading through Brooke's life and seeing all of the hardships she has been through as a military child and a child of this country. Living through the worst things and finding people to live for is amazing. I hope none of this ever happens though because I dont want to die from a nuclear bomb, but thank you Morgan for this amazing series!

Very disappointed in this book. I was totally invested in this series. A lot of suspense, action and drama and then the ending was very disappointing as it felt rushed, unfinished. The person who most recently reviewed this book, speaks exactly how I feel about this book. The poor grammar also bothered me, and at times would read it out loud to my partner and not understand how a book could get published with such bad mistakes in it.

This trilogy is action packed. There were a couple of things that were just thrown in that I felt weren't addressed, and as in the previous book, you have to suspend disbelief on some things. It dystopian though and believable isn't all that important. It's a good action, and fast paced. I really like the story, and recommend it for fans of dystopian society and a strong female lead.

That's a bit better. This book seems to have had some care taken over it; not just the story-lines but the way it was put together. After the disaster that was Book 2, it was definitely a pleasant relief to actually be able to follow the narrative. I still hope that Morgan gets some better help for her future projects but the only way is up - right?

The whole series was awesome. But at the end I just hoped that Molly, Logan and Ryan wouldn't have died. I cied a lot at the end. Brooke was indeed a tough girl. Emily gittleman who was the narrator of the audiobook has progressed a lot in this audiobook. The book was amazing but I'm a bit unsatisfied with the end .

I thought this was a great and fitting ending to the series. There was an interesting new group of characters brought into the story and just as much action as the first and second books. There were very few things that bothered me throughout the trilogy and I’d say the fact that I read each book in two days or less proves how addictive they were!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 stars!!!!
This is such an underrated series!!!! I loved everything about this dystopian book. It reminds me so much of the hunger games. There’s betrayals, a subplot of romance, arenas with fighting and challenges, sisters, and doing everything you can to make this world a better place. Oh my gosh, this book is so good. Everyone should read this trilogy if they love hunger games!!!!

This book had a different feel than the others. Definitely my least favorite of the trilogy, but still worth the ride. This finishes up the series and this world which I would definitely like to come back to for more stories.

Only one question... When will the next book be out?

This series is great. I enjoyed each one. Very intriguing. I could put the book down. Each book was as good as the one before it.

For some reason, the writing seemed more childlike in this one. Maybe a bit basic and rushed? Didn't enjoy as much as the previous two. But got closure.

Yup, that's what I thought. No real surprises here. But I am not one to read a series half-assed. I need to get over that some time there are too many good books in the world.

I hate that it's ending here, damn wish it would continue on. Oh well, it was good while it lasted. This whole series was worth the time, I would definitely recommend the read for sure.
