A Forever Love: Aleyshah & Jada

Rate this book
“I've loved him since I was nine, and that shit just won't go away.”
There's always that one person you can never get over. For Aleyshah, that's Jada, her first love, even after months, and even years not speaking to him.
The two of them have been trying to get it right for about as long as they could remember. From falling in love with each other at the tender ages of nine and ten, to having a huge falling out a few years later, the timing never seems to be right for them.
But, after not speaking for four years, Jada decides that it’s time for them to get it right. The only problem is that Jada is bringing a lot of baggage, and is expecting Aleyshah to carry it with him.
Aleyshah’s life had been going just as planned; she graduated high school, and got accepted to college. She had everything she wanted, except Jada, of course. But with him back in her world now, one would think that everything would be perfect right? Nope. Her relationship with the love of her life has caused a rift between her family, exposing secrets and lies.
Will those secrets be enough to destroy the couple before they have a chance to get it right, or it make them closer?

Honestly I agree with Amber...

I agree with Amber, Jada has too much baggage to not be 21. 1 1/2 kids and 2 baby mama (Melissa & Raine). Nobody mama would be open arms to that specially went you child 17 just graduating from high school. Amber could've done better responding to Lee. Steven & Lee dad was hella wrong for that bet. Clearly Amber was dumb and naïve. Jada mom took the situation to the next level tho and seriously it was not her place, she clearly didn't know what happened so don't speak on it. Where is Jada dad because they didn't say anything about it besides his name. Hopefully dad is ok tho and they get they family together. Amber was following her husband wishes. He can't be mad at her because she was upfront, just should've been open with the kids too...

Drama, drama, and more drama

If you are a lover of drama, then this is the book for you. Everyone involved was just too young to be going through it like they were. They are at the age where they should be enjoying their young lives. Jada with all his baby mama drama made me want to snatch him out of my kindle by his throat at times. Aleyshah deserves so much better. I'm almost afraid to read part 2. I can only imagine what's going to happen next.

Good read!

This was a good read. The storyline just got more interesting coming to the end of the book. At first I find the characters were immature in some ways and overly mature in others, but then when u look at the ages of them you can relate. Waiting for part two...hope it has a little more fire. All in all good job!

Great

This book was really good. I liked of from beginning to end. Lee was tripping some of the time but they was young that's the stuff they do. I think it's foul play with her dad though/ can't wait til part 2
