Berlin Blues
Berlin Blues is a book that will entertain the reader. It explores two sides of human life: youth and middle age. Book One, Creating Memories, is about young GI's stationed in West Berlin learning about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness while gathering important military information for the U.S. Army about Russians and East Germans. Book Two, Unearthing Memories, follows three GI's from Cold War days as they return to Berlin to understand their lives though the prism of the past. Book One is more humorous in tone than Book Two, although both explore life through the eyes of the characters. The entire book is set in Berlin, a city the author knows intimately.
