This is a short collection of true ghost stories and experiences. They were interesting to listen to. Narrator has a creepy factor to his voice that makes for a good story teller.

I love ghosts stories. This delivered and then some. I found some of these invading my dreams and gave me ideas for what I want to write.

Despite having written an appallingly short book, the author is actually quite chatty and expends a great deal of verbage on simply setting up the premise - something that can be easily gleaned from the title alone. Mr. Chastain promises to scare readers, but doesn't really deliver nearly as much as might reasonably be expected.
There certainly are some chilling moments however (particularly the author's own inexplicable encounter while camping out in the wilderness alone for three days at the age of eighteen), but there just isn't enough material here to merit much more than three out of five stars. Hopefully, the next volume in the series will succeed where this first effort mostly fails.

Should have checked number of pages first
Too short and not well written. I wish I had checked number of pages first. Do not recommend buying. Cannot think of anything else

Do you believe in the supernatural? Those folks that love ghosts, haunted houses, and darkest of nights, should pick this book up.
This short book takes you into a journey of the supernatural world. The authors also included true ghost stories. The author mentions a few horror movies and analyzing them through the eyes of person who believe in the supernatural world.
The author also gives a short list of do and do not. This is why I give the book a 3 out of 5 stars. The author mentions in one of the do, to tell a family, spouse, it's about what you are seeing in the supernatural world.
Yes, it is 2017. Regardless, many folks do not accept this. Many folks, it's only a form of entertainment. If a person has a loved one that has certain religious beliefs, and you told them what you saw, most would be skeptical. Most would also think you are having a mental breakdown.
Sadly, there is a strong possibility of relationships being broken. Many folks would want to break ties that they think the supernatural is real. If a person believes this, look for an online support group. Research the reviews. There's a strong chance they could have a support group, near where you lived.
Regardless, do not stop being you. Proceed with caution when telling loved ones. Again, always be you. If you believe in the supernatural, read this book.
