Mari has been writing as far back as she can remember. She spent most of her teen years writing short stories for her friends, it was a hobby for her even though she was published in the school newspaper.

She is married to Randy and they have 1 grown daughter and 2 grown sons. They have 3 dogs and 2 cats too. There is never a dull moment around the house. They live on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Alabama and are blessed to have a home on the river and to have the beach just 20 minutes away.

Over the years she wrote a few short stories in between raising babies but it wasn’t until 2012 she decided she needed to pursue her dream of writing a full novel. It took a while but in January of 2014 her debut novel was self-published. There is always a story in her head and characters talking to her. She enjoys being able to share her characters with others.

Beyond the Edge

I loved the series.. But I am so very disappointed in the ending of this book! So many unanswered questions and possibilities. Are there going to be spin offs to this one?????

Ok read

Third book in this instalment. Although there are some good points I just found it too repetitive. I’m not sure you would read this without reading the others so I didn’t need the constant reminder of the past.

I still think Kat is a mess but okay yes she has grown on me and in a wonderful way. All I can say is this series is definitely a page turner. It starts off with Kat and Cole being Kat and Cole of course an the per name Kitten really doesn't fit her unless you are referring to a huge cat with major claws! The two of them are growing up well together and the rest of the family as well. Lots of action and excitement and Bruce through it all remains cool and dapper. Things get hot but family and loyalty always come first. The gloves are off and it is off to war?? Sal is stirring up trouble and keeping them on their toes. Will they ever be done with him or is he gearing up for a major surprise?

While this is supposed to be the end of the series I wonder where the author is going from here. There are still many unanswered questions left at the end of the book. This being so I wanted to rate it higher but the kid in me who wants resolution and the gratification of knowing, couldn't do it.

Disappointed. While I truly liked the storyline, the quantity of proofreading errors completely destroyed the experience. The first two books in this series had more than the amount of potentially acceptable errors, but again I liked the overall story and was ready to begin book 3. Unfortunately, the errors were worse. However, I wanted to follow the story so I stumbled my way through. Too bad the end was rushed and the main threat in this romantic suspense book never evens appears. I was left confused and not sure if there is another book to come or not. I hope that Ms. Brown will invest in a proofreader for her future releases.

Great book!

I absolutely loved this series and I wanted to give this book the 5 stars it deserved but I feel the ending was not what it should have been. There are more unanswered questions and this is the last book in the series. Nothing was resolved with Sal. What happens with Drew and Gracie and Luke and Julie? What about Seth and most importantly Justin? The book was great I couldn't put it down, I just feel the ending resolved nothing. I hope the author will write more books hopefully explaining each characters ending.

It was great to read about Kat and Cole becoming their own and dinding their roles within their relationship and also within the knight organisation.
This novel left a lot of unanswered questions about everyine in the family. Is this because there will be a spin off series based on Julie and Luke? Or other members of the family. I feel like i have been left hanging more so then at the end of over the edge.
Definately a great read but nit sure if it was worth the wait, felt it could have had a lot more depth to not only the characters but also the actual plot.

After the second book I really looked forward to the third book. Just to see if they beat Sal and if Kat's the one to do it. However , when I reached the end of the book I was confused and disappointed. There are huge holes in the story and left me with a lot of unanswered questions. Half way though the book I became distracted from the story line due to all the spelling errors. Hopefully the next book fills in the black holes.

This is not the end of the Knights

Another cliffhanger. I don't think this is the end for the knight's. We will be reading more from them and I will just want to know what happened. This book was dragged out. The author stretched the storyline and left unanswered questions. The characters are full of drama and the over exaggerate very situation. I wanted more and an ending but its just another beginning to a different Knight family member. Sorry for the spoiler.

A good read.

This was a good read but needs to be edited and quite a few things fixed but the story line is there and it's good I just hate that this is another cliff hanger. I may just have to assume what happens next because of the writing I'm not sure i could even get through the next one. Author if you need an extra edited please contact me I will help you out better than whoever u currently have.

I love this series. Watching the characters grow and evolve over time made me feel like I knew them. My issue with this book was several typos, and that the book just abruptly ends skips five years like an epilogue but nothing really gets resolved. The ending just left so many unanswered story lines and questions. I love Mari's writing but this one just ended and left me hanging.

Love this continuing series.

Beyond the Edge is another great book in the Knight Series. I love the characters and Cole and Kat sizzle together. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat and the storyline evolves more into a darker side of another Knight. That all being said there are some minor editing problems. Nothing that takes away from the story itself.
