ROMAN NICOLIS Cursed for 2,000 years, he has tracked his lover's soul through each reincarnation only to lose her horribly every time. Reclaiming their love is their only salvation. He's been her friend, her father, her neighbor, but never again her lover ... until now. STELLA WALKER A late night walk home throws her into the path of a killer. The last thing she remembers are the deep blue eyes of the man trying to kill her—and the first thing she sees after a seven-day coma are the same blue eyes in the handsome face of the man hired to protect her. Is he truly the owner of a security firm assigned to protect her, or the man who wants to finish her off? Is it fear she feels when Roman touches her, or the memory of something sweeter? Past secrets haunt them. An angry demon stalks them. Roman will do anything to recover what they had. Though Stella's ruined childhood has made her close her heart and body to any man, he must get past the walls around her to gain her love and trust, for it will take their union to defeat an unexpected enemy sent from the Egyptian Gods. A man Romans respects, and Stella trusts. TWO HEARTS, ONE SOUL FOR ALL ETERNITY
Passion changes everything, especially for the characters Tmonique writes about in her Descendants of Ra, UnHallowed, and Plain Jane series. Flawed characters who reflect the emotional baggage we all carry interests her the most. She writes complicated stories for complicated people. Her favorite paranormal authors are JR Ward, Gena Showalter, and Kresley Cole. Her favorite contemporary authors are Natasha Knight, Theodora Taylor, and Nancy Haviland. She also enjoys Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and Preston & Child. Check out her Descendants of Ra series. Eternity, Everlasting, Evermore, Encore, and Forever, are the first five novels available now. The first four novels in her UnHallowed series—Only The Fallen, Only One I Want, Only You, and Only One I’ll Have are available now.
“My curse was to search for the one woman I could love completely, forever.” Roman sighed and looked up at her from the swiftly emptying bottle. “You are the reincarnation of my lover, Elyssian. She died 1,974 years ago. That makes me roughly two-thousand years old.”
If you liked The Black Dagger Brotherhood, you might like this. A group of "brothers", immortality, Egyptian gods and goddesses, curses, soulmates, and set in contemporary times.
Roman was a mercenary in B.C.E. times that failed in his job for a god because he was off with a woman named Elyssian, so the god cursed him and now him must spend all of eternity being reunited with reincarnations of Elyssian but watching her die in new and varied ways.
The Strangler has been a serial killer on the loose for awhile and Stella (STELLA!!! sorry, couldn't resist) accidentally comes upon him mid-murder. She manages to survive her encounter but The Strangler is still after her. Roman becomes her bodyguard (He took those mercenary skills right into the 21st century and has a security firm) after he realizes she's the new reincarnation of Elyssian.
“You are dead,” she confided, smiling into his face. “You reside here because of your actions and the evil infested in your heart. Yet you are not a follower or a descendent, so this hell should not be your final destination.”
Like I mentioned, a faint whiff of BDB but some cool additives with Anubis, Alamut, Nephythys, and SET to bring in some nefarious interfering and clashing mythological and real world. Plenty of brothers to get their own story and the series is all in KU!
Well I love discovering new authors and as I'm a bit of a paranormal junkie when I spotted this I had to read it. It's one of those rare things a book that has a unique concept! There's a plethora of vampire and shifter tales for readers to enjoy but I have not seen very many that explore an Egyptian theme . It's such an amazing way to tackle the subject as well and really helps to bring those myths and legends to life whilst at the same time exploring a modern twist. Two star crossed lovers are at the heart of this story. Roman and Elyssian first met over two thousand years ago but events and fate conspired against them and now Roman is cursed to constantly keep finding the soul of the woman he loves but she never remembers him and is constantly torn away from him . His eternal damnation keeps him on a knife edge half hoping to reclaim her and yet so very weary of his long and loveless life. Stella attracts the attention of a killer when walking home one night and wakes up in hospital after a vicious attack that nearly cost her life. Her memories are clear though and she will never forget the eyes of the masked man who tried to kill her. Imagine the horror she feels when the man guarding her has the same coloured eyes and bears an uncanny resemblance to the attacker she remembers . Roman says he only wants to protect her but there's something about him that calls to Stella. Her attacker though has not finished with Stella and she has no idea that the man by her side is cursed to keep finding her only to watch her slip away. There's a reason for the spate of recent murders and it's a horror too awful to contemplate but Roman and Stella are slap bang in the middle of it and it looks as if yet again Roman will lose the woman his soul yearns for. Oo this was good and I don't wish to spoil the surprises so will be very careful what I write here. The anguish and pain that Roman feels is a vivid thing that is so well described and I could empathise with him as he tried to do the right thing. His long life has seen him learning many things and it's interesting that he finally might get the chance to put things right. As for Stella, well every reincarnation she has had has been a tough one and this one is not a piece of cake either but the passion and attraction she shares with Roman builds into something simply fabulous . As for the Egyptian gods and the curse well there's more to this story then there would seem at first. There's a reason for the ritual murders and Roman is not the only immortal we meet on these pages . The villain of the piece is somewhat unexpected and we are introduced to characters who are very intriguing so I am looking forward to seeing just what this author does next . There's a lot going on here and the Underworld has not given up yet. I still have questions but I did enjoy this story. A cursed tortured hero partnered with a strong feisty heroine will always be an interesting read but add a pantheon of Egyptian gods and lots of heat between the sheets and lovers of paranormal romance would be crazy to miss this book! I was gifted this copy by Netgalley for an honest review Four and a half from me
I have to say I love mythology and one of the most under used pantheon's is Egyptian. Tmonique Stephens manages in Eternity to use Egyptian mythology beautifully while writing a suspenseful and contemporary book.
The love story between Roman and Stella (Elyssian, his soul mate) is well written you can feel the anguish that Roman goes through and the wariness and fear on Stella's part. While the love story is fantastic it is only part of the picture because you have a serial killer on the lose and after Stella.
The Egyptian mythology come into play through the killer and his reason, motives and needs behind the killing spree he is on. The mind of the killer and his relationship to the Egyptian Gods is fed to you throughout the book giving you hints and teases along the way as to who the killer may be.
I was sucked into this book from the first page and read the whole 300 some odd pages in one day, I give Eternity 4 out of 5
I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review
DNF at 43%. I couldn't read anymore when the "hero" started to seduce a damaged, fragile woman while he was still engaged to another. Soul mates over time doesn't erase cheating. He cheated on his soul mate and his fiancee.
Roman Nicolis, has lived for almost two thousand years, he is immortal, but cursed. He made a mistake and now he has watched the woman he loves die six times, and each time he loses a part of himself. Now he is a billionaire, and runs a security firm, and makes billions. Then he he is hired to protect a woman that has been attacked, a woman that is his lost love, and this is her seventh reincarnation and the only way for the curse to be broken is for Stella to remember her past lives. Stella has never known family or real love, she was raised in foster care, works as a waitress, and one night ends up being attacked by a masked man, who scars her, but she somehow survives. Then she meets her protection, a man that reminds her of her attacker, but there is something different about him. As the danger keeps getting closer to Stella, Roman is determined to destroy this new threat, only he will never see that its easier said than done, and it could cost him Stella and he could lose her once again...but will Roman and Stella be able to destroy their enemy together and find eternity together?
Eternity is the first book in her Ra series. I have never heard of this author until now. Even though this book was published almost a year ago, it became available on Netgalley, and I thought well the cover is yummy, and the blurb sounds enticing, so why not try it out? I am glad that I found a new author!! This story was so great and I had such a fun time with this fast paced paranormal romance that got my heart rate up...who needs cardio right? Well the story begins with Stella being attacked and left for dead, only for some reason she doesn't die like the "Stranglers" other victims did, and even though her face is scarred, she is alive and she meets Roman. Roman is desperate to keep Stella alive and will do anything to keep her safe. He doesn't know if he can survive losing her again. As they are forced together to keep Stella safe, a sensual desire erupts and soon they are starting to fall for each other. But then the plot really thickens and soon Roman and Stella are on the run for their lives and desperate to kill this creature after them. There is quite a lot that happens in this story, but the author does a great job in sucking you into a world of danger, paranormal creatures, and Egyptian mythology. This is a story that is exciting to the very end, and I just couldn't put it down. It had me on the edge of my seat all the way through, and I LOVED it!!
Overall I found Eternity to be a great start to this series that won me over within the first few pages. Precise details, intriguing characters, and a plot that thickens with every chapter and has you wrapped in foil and refuses to let go until the end. It will keep you enthralled with each page....THRILLING AND MESMERIZING!!!
Reading Eternity was like riding a roller coaster blindfolded! It was an adrenaline-packed story that claimed my attention from start to finish. The story is full of exciting twists and turns leading me up an angsty, steep incline before accelerating and plummeting into a series of back-to-back loops that definitely put my mind through its paces!
Roman Nicolis is a gorgeous, dark-haired, blue-eyed immortal who has been cursed to roam the earth from one century to the next without ever being able to have the only woman he will ever love. His love is reincarnated over a period of several lifetimes; sometimes, he manages to find her during one of her lives, but even if he does, he can never have her. He has never been able to claim her as his soul mate. Two thousand years of torment have drained his hopes of them ever reuniting.
I did take a moment to consider whether I really wanted to put myself through the emotional turmoil of reading about two people who love each other but are always fated to be apart. Why should I put myself through that?
Is there even such a thing as a soul mate? Will the author be able to show me the depth of the love that exists between Roman and Stella so that I can feel the magnetic draw they have toward each other? I had my doubts when I started the book, but by the end, Stephens makes it work for me. I appreciated her exploration into the concept and definition of a soul mate because it made me question my own beliefs as well.
Eternity is not a mindless read. I had to pay attention to the numerous characters who are introduced and try to figure out why they are important to the story and how they connect to a complex plot that is slowly unfolding around Roman and his Brothers’ security firm who have been hired to protect Stella from a serial killer who has already tried to kill her once. Both Roman and Stella have secrets that need to shared, and I couldn’t wait to find out exactly what Roman did to cause him to lose everyone he loved. What will it take to break the curse? Or does Roman even want to try anymore? He doesn’t seem to want to face more rejection and can’t handle losing the only woman he will ever love again. Furthermore, even though Stella feels a connection to Roman, she doesn’t understand why, and her initial conclusion doesn’t have anything to do with him being her one true love. To compound the situation, Stella has had a rough past that has left her with unresolved abandonment and intimacy issues. She doesn’t like to rely on anyone, especially Roman, and the effort to get her to trust him seems like a losing battle at times.
Overall, Roman and Stella are well-developed protagonists, and they aren’t perfect. Just when I think Stella might give Roman a chance, he does something that no woman would appreciate, and his thoughtless actions are hurtful. Stella also frustrated me at times. Her reactions to Roman ranged from hot to cold with little warmth in between, and her attitude and behavior were childish in some scenes when she tries to push him away. However, by the end I had a lot more respect for her. The story is told from numerous characters’ POVs and although doing so adds depth to the story, in some places the shifts between scenes and POVs are abrupt and unexpected.
The plot is filled with mystery, treachery, sensual romance, and an Egyptian underworld of the dead with rulers who give the concept of dysfunctional family a whole new meaning. I enjoyed this first book even though I have so many, many questions that are still unanswered. The drama is far from over! I look forward to reading Everlasting next, and I anticipate the reading experience to be just as thrilling as with this first book.
I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Hand me a book and tell me that it features Egyptian mythology, and a cursed man who is waiting for the next reincarnation of his lost love . . . and I will read it. And I am so glad that I picked this book up because it was fabulous.
Tmonique Stephens has penned an awesome tale packed with action, history, mythology, romance, and some scorching, sexy scenes.
I love Roman's background. I love that we get to see his other lives throughout the story, and as he unfolds parts of himself to both the reader and Stella. You really feel for him. He has been through so much, and there is nothing worse than loving someone only to lose them, and this poor guy has had to go through it over and over again. But he has lead an interesting life and has seen and experienced a lot over 2000 years, and I love how his experiences come in to play. And let's not forget that he is completely delicious in all the right ways, and totally lovable.
Stella is a woman you can easily relate too. She has had a tough life, but it is a dangerous and chance attack that brings her back in to Roman's life and although they have a bump road ahead of them, it is totally worth it.
All of Stella's reincarnations haven't had easy lives, and that's on top of them all waiting to find Roman again. So to say I was satisfied with the way the story ended would be an understatement.
Mixed in with all the intense need and hot situations between Roman and Stella, we have our baddie who has basically given his soul to the lower god Anubis. I don't want to go into two much detail, but the Egyptian twist too the story was refreshing and it is clear to see that there is so much more going on and too happen.
Needless to say, I can't wait to tuck in to book 2.

Review:
"Eternity" by TMonique Stephens was indeed a good mystery, 'Egyptian mythology,' and every bit of a romantic paranormal love story. This was of a curse that kept Roman and Stella (Elyssian, his soul mate) for over 2000 years...and left him searching for her soul. I found all of the characters that this author created for this novel was somewhat strong with emotional and in some delightful way offering such color and depth that can only be solved in such a mysterious suspenseful mystery way. "Eternity" was presented with many twist and turns that will only keep you interested in this well written read. Be ready for a well action packed novel that will not be dull in any way offering suspense, mystery..of a serial killer...and not to leave out real love and passion. "The mind of the killer and his relationship to the Egyptian Gods is fed to you throughout the book giving you hints and teases along the way as to who the killer may be." This is where I will tell you that to find out the where, when, why and what of it all of this good novel ... you must pick up "Eternity" to find out about this suspenseful mystery read.
With this being a start of a series for this author and I am sure that we will get even more of this world of mythology novels and yes I would definitely recommend "Eternity" as a excellent novel for a great start.
I made about 20 notes as the errors flew by--typos (she made her WAS toward something), wrong verb tenses (eyes snapped OPENED), wrong nouns (the detective whipped out his HANDCUFFED), apostrophe abuse (ROWER'S glided past), just plain nonsensically wrong words (didn't need to know his SORTED history; this MANIC was after her; she didn't care where she was running TOO; BREAKS squealed; eyes pleaded for CONFORMATION; MEET out punishment; honorable discharge from the CORE).
Honestly, it was something astoundingly illiterate on every other page! Even more infuriating, when I considered sharing my rants, the Goodreads versions had been cleaned up so my complaints made no sense. Apparently, someone did finally pay an editor after the fact.
The dumb thing is the story had potential. Well, the Egyptian gods thing annoyed me and made zero sense. The immortal dreamboat wasn't original. The characters weren't terribly likable or compelling. I definitely won't be suffering through a sequel, but the lack of editing was a killer. When you're stopping every two pages to tear your hair out and scream, it detracts from a book. If they've fixed it since I first added this freebie to the pile (I'm on lists and snag a lot of them I may never get to), my whinging here is pointless--except that someone foisted this book on an unsuspecting public BEFORE IT WAS DONE. This is why self pub has a bad name, people. PAY an editor. Do it fucking right. Especially if you have such a poor grasp of the English language. Gah.
This story is packed full of all kinds of things that will keep your heart beating with passion, with fear, with anger, with excitement, and with love. The story starts fast and does not let go. It's a page turner. It all starts with fabulous suspense and mystery, there's a serial killer, Egyptian mythology, and it's all mixed up with real love and passion.
It was so much fun to watch Stella grow and discover her strength through this book. She gets a lot thrown at her and she's not perfect, she stumbles through her feelings in a real, refreshing way. Roman is not perfect either and that's part of why I love him. At one point he thinks: It galled to be lumped together with everyone else that hurt, left, and disappointed her. No, he's not perfect. He's lived through a whole lot of loss, and even though he puts her needs first, his choices add to her pain. The love story here is fascinating, at times it's raw and filled with pain and at others it's erotic and beautiful.
Tmonique does a beautiful job of rolling out the details of her story at just the right time. Just when you think she's pulled her last surprise, wait, there's more. Oh, and the side characters add all kinds of enjoyable color and depth. I will most definitely be reading the next book in this series.
I recommend Eternity to all paranormal romance readers and give it a 5.0
note from S. J. : Eternity was provided to me for an honest and fair review
2000 years Roman has been wandering the Earth hoping for his chance at love with the woman who is his soul mate. There have been more than 6 reincarnitations of her, but each time something went terribly wrong. When he stops looking for her she suddenly pops up once again will this time be the one that changes everything?
Shes always been a nobody, but when a serial killer goes for her, but doesn't manage to kill her her life gets turned upside down. Stella wakes up from a Coma and the first thing she sees are the same eyes of the man who tried to kill her, but is it really the same man?
This story takes you in a different paranormal direction than what you might be used to. There are immortals, monsters, and egyptian gods. While you're trying to figure out myth from fact there's a mad man out to get Stella, and you're right there with the characters as they try to figure out just what is really going on.
Roman is an alpha male who's not used to not getting his way, so when someone stands up to him he has to figure out how to do the right thing without getting his foot jammed into his mouth.
Stellas life might not have been easy, but shes lived it the best way she could. She's strong and fiesty and smart and just when you think you've got her figured out she throws you though a loop.
I enjoyed getting to know the characters and had fun with the storyline and am excited to read more in this series.
A curse has kept Roman from Stella for the last 2000 years, and left him searching for her soul. He has found her and tragically lost her over and over as she lives and dies through cycles of reincarnation. It’s in this cycle, when Stella is attacked by a killer, that Roman finally has his chance to claim her as his lover again, and save both of their souls from the torture of separation again. This love story is absolutely beautiful. From the very beginning, Roman’s agony over losing Stella’s soul is felt through wonderfully written words, as is the vulnerability of Stella. While she works through familiar feelings and memories, the two of them try to figure out why a killer is after Stella, and what the motive is behind his actions. It’s here that the author threads in a fantastic backstory of the killer’s relationship with ancient Egyptian Gods. The addition of the Egyptian mythology made this story irresistible, unique and incredibly hard to put down. Every turn of the page held nail biting suspense and a poetic love that left me swooning. I adored the thrilling mystery and the romance, and I give kudos to the author for writing such a wonderful story.

The last thing she remembers are the deep blue eyes of the man trying to kill her—and the first things she sees after a seven day coma are the same blue eyes in the handsome face of the man hired to protect her. I loved this book!! This story has something for everyone. There's paranormal, mystery, & romance. A must read for all genres. The story was quick to grab my attention & kept me reading until the very end. It had lots of surprising twists & turns to keep you turning pages & the characters are easy to connect with. The added use of Egyptian Mythology made it all the more interesting. This is the first book I've read by this author, but I can't wait for Eternity Book 2. I look forward to reading more by this author.
Well, this was interesting. I actually enjoyed it thoroughly. I wasn’t sure what to expect going in but we are gifted with quite the plot here. We meet Stella, running for her life from a killer and Roman, a cursed mercenary over 2000yrs old. Stella, actually holds the soul of Roman’s love, who he is cursed to lose repeatedly. I enjoyed the attraction between them, the romance and hot sex didn’t hurt. There is also plenty of suspense, some Egyptian gods and folklore, and a group of ‘brothers’ I am interested to see further on in the story. We are also introduced to Reign, Roman’s twin, and his story is next and I am very excited for it. Honestly we don’t get much in the way of answers on the further subplot tying the two together this book, but I am certain that will be cleared up in Reigns story. It also didn’t bother me much as there is tons going on anyway. This book does jump POV a few times to many for my taste, but it was necessary I think to tie all the parts together the best it could be done. If you are into the ‘paranormalish; type of book, like romance and suspense thrown in equally than this book is for you. This was a complimentary e-copy via Netgalley and the publisher/author in exchange for a honest review
you’re ideal reading must have any of these mythology, romance, and mystery, sexy, funny and erotic then Eternity by Tmonique Stephens is going to your new addiction. Roman and Stella are the new it couple! Ms. Stephens has blown me away with this first book. You feel like you are in the story and it doesn’t let you go, you feel every raw emotion, every smile and every tear. A true love story for the times, and one that just wasn’t a hi, hi ok I love you … she not only pulls you in, she wraps you in a warm blanket and makes you believe in romance once again. I personally am looking forward to the next book in July. And learning more about the Nicolis Brother’s and I know I am going to love them all. So do yourself a favor find this book, buy it up and clear your calendar. B/c this is a wonderful, exciting, don’t want to put it down, I will eat when I am done kind of book. Great job Ms. Stephens, I am so excited to put you on my favorite author’s list and will look forward to all your future books.
Roman Nicolis is cursed to love one woman only to watch her die which makes being immortal tough to bear. He often wonders when it will all end because he doesn't think he has another lifetime of waiting in him. Until Stella Walker enters his life. Stella is a victim/survivor of The Village Strangler. Stella is a survivor and will not let anything get her down including Roman Nicolis. The Village Strangler is backed by an unlikely source~Anubis. Anubis sets up a plan to receive souls that are meant for Duat. Can Roman protect Stella? Will Roman's curse be lifted? Will Stella allow Roman to love her? Who is the Village Strangler? Your answers await you in Eternity.
I was very intrigued by this novel's concept. The author did a beautiful job of weaving this tale together. I loved that Stella didn't automaticly fall to her knees in love with the hero. Roman is perfect as the damaged and broken hero searching to end his torment. I do hope that the author continues with this series. I would love to see all of the men end up with their right woman.
It has been a while since I have read a paranormal romance as I love historical romances the most but I got this one free and the storyline intrigued me enough to give in and read it and I am not sorry I did. The story was engrossing from the very first page and I couldn't put it down. Roman was an awesome hero who was immortal and forced to find his true love. Over two thousand years and every time he would find her, he would only see her die. When summoned to take on a body guard case for a woman who survived the attack of a killer, he is surprised to find that the woman is his reincarnated love. Stella witnessed a killer at work and almost paid the price with her life but she is a survivor and her new bodyguard both thrills and terrifies her. This book was filled with action, suspense and a wonderful romance between two amazing people and I highly recommend it for any lover of paranormal romance. I have already purchased the next book about Roman's brother Reign and can't wait to read it.
Elyssian and Roman have been cursed. Her to never find love with him. And he to an immortal life without her. Despite numerous reincarnations, Elyssian is always out of Roman’s reach. Until she crashes into his life as Stella. However, an enemy wants to finish what he started and kill her. Will Roman be able to protect her from this enemy favored by Anubis-an Egyptian God of the Dead? I loved this book. The action and love story were superb. Pacing and the writing was smooth and whisked me away. All I can say is, “I want more.” And have purchased the other books in this series. If you like star-crossed lovers, adventure, Egyptian mythology, or just a wonderful Paranormal romance, check out T’Monique Stephens. She is now on my favorite author list.
Wow, this book absolutely blew me away! I LOVED Roman, he may be my new favorite hero! I really liked Stella, the heroine also. She was tough, smart, and willing to kick butt when she needed too. I loved the Egyptian mythology references too. Start this book when you have some time because I was totally hooked and did not want to put it down.
Hot and steamy, great tension between the main characters, and suspense from the stalker. Absolutely loved this book, I am a new fan! I really hope there is another book about Reign.
I won this book in your contests and was very glad to receive it in the mail and started reading it immediately.
It was a very good book. Character development was unique and made you care for each one. The premise of your soul mate traveling through time to find you was very entertaining. If we were all immortal then we would have to have a soul mate that was also immortal. I especially enjoyed the weaving in of the Egyptian gods and their unique characteristics. I have long been a fan of Egyptian culture and enjoyed the way this author incorporated it into her story.
Roman, a cursed Thrace warrior, is hired to protect Stella who turns out to be Roman's lover reborn.
I loved this book and couldn't put it down. Tmonqiue Stephens did a fantastic job of making me feel for these characters. The addition of the Egyptian Pantheon was a huge plus, they are hardly used and it will be interesting to see where the story will go.
I am so glad I discovered this book! I got grabbed from the very first page and couldn't put it down! I loved Stella who is reincarnated soul of the woman Roman has loved for 2000 years. They have some very hot chemistry and I found myself rooting for them at every turn. I love the use of Egyptian Mythology to tell the story and I have already started the next book!
I found this book engrossing, well-written, with the characters that you can like and sympathize with. A delightful surprise and an excellent foundation for what could become a great series. Loved the Egyptian mythology connection! Already downloaded the second book.
Call me a hopeless romantic but....surely if you knew your one true love was being reincarnated over and over again wouldn’t you go out of your way to find them each time and not just settle for marrying some women you don’t even love!! (Yeah I know sone of incarnations were only young but he still should have waited). I felt like stabbing Roman in the face when he let Bianca cosy up to him in front of Stella!! What a knob head....and then he lets Stella walk away without stopping her!!! Well ok..he did go up to speak to her once she left, but still....it really pissed me off..I get far too emotionally involved in stories lol
I also found myself getting a tad frustrated with the way Roman acted towards the end!
Just glad it was a HEA otherwise I might have found myself throwing my Kindle across the room!!!

Stella is attacked by a serial killer and awakens in the hospital with a man who could be the killer saying he is there to protect her. Roman has been hired to keep her safe from a killer but he has lost his heart to her for over a thousand years. It is his curse to watch her die every time he finds her. The Gods play games with the mortals and the immortal. It was a great book and I look forward to the next in the series.
This is an imaginative twist on the Gods and Godesses of lore. Deities of ancient Egypt are taking a hand in the goings on of this time and it is devastating for any in their way. The love story between Stella and Roman is at the crux of it all and it is a thrilling tale. I recommend.
