Interesting cases and good plot progression. Vol.90 is surprisingly full of reveals and moments that add to the main mystery whilst also delivering on the quick and digestible content that Conan is known for.

Suka ceritanya waktu Amuro n Akai (plus Conan tentunya) nyelidikin kasus bareng. Jadiii... ternyata mereka punya sejarah panjang sebelumnya ya...
Lainnya, akhirnya ketahuan siapa gadis kecil yg selalu bersama Sera. Nah, tapi kalau Sera n Akai bersaudara, kan berarti *beeep*
Semoga makin banyak perkembangan kasus black org ini, n makin dekat hari di mana mereka ditangkap n Conan balik jd Kudo lg. ;)

As mentioned above, I am going to write a proper review for this soon, but I have a few books ahead of this one in the queue, so I cannot stop reading DC NOW! That's sacrilege. I have decided to read all the chapters available up to now (we are almost to 1000!) As you can see, I am totally fangirling over here and I don't care, because this is one of my favorite manga series, ever! But all of this aside, there are a few things I wanted to list so I don't need to go back and look everything up when I do finally sit down and write my fangirl review. ✌🏻

Personally, I think us DC fans love certain characters more than other (yes, Heiji, I mean you!), so sometimes when we are re-reading this series (like all the time!) you might wish to start at a specific case or start when a certain character is involved.

Personal Opinion:
#1, I never call this CASE CLOSED. If you do, you're not a true fan of this series, so don't even bother reading my review or my personal opinions. I'm sorry if I offend you, but you offended me first by telling me you want to read CASE CLOSED or you just love Jimmy.
#2, as you can tell by #1, I read this online. I would never waste my money buying a manga series in english that cannot get the name correct and mess up the main characters to make it appear more "ENGLISH." I am so happy I don't run a blog and this isn't a review on Sailor Moon, #1, because I have a huge soap box tirade against DiC. I also don't think there is anything against reading something online. Comics, which is what manga are, are meant to be read and shared and sometimes paying over $10 is too much in my opinion. Plus, I read the newest chapters as soon as they are released from Japan, because I would never miss a release of DC. So this is my personal shout out to you translators from me, Thank You!

This volume was packed with so many of the supporting characters, and I liked every second of it. On top of that, we finally got some progression in the FBI vs. Black Organization arc! It feels like so many long-running plot threads are starting to come together.
The mystery in this volume is on another level. I have so many questions: Why is Akai’s father suddenly connected to the Koji Haneda case? And who even is his father? Is Asaka really Rum, or is that just another classic Aoyama misdirection? Then there’s Sera calling the little girl (who’s supposed to be her sister) “Mom” — what is that about? Is Asaka somehow connected to that? It’s wild. Plus, we still don’t have a clear answer on how Sera met Conan 10 years ago, and Vermouth calling Conan and Ran her "treasures"?
The cases in this volume were also a bit unique. They felt more creative this time around, and while this manga is no stranger to some pretty far-fetched logic, I still found myself fully engaged.
The character combinations in this volume were also good! Conan teaming up with Sera and “Mom” was fun, especially with all the mystery surrounding that little girl. The Conan and Akai combo is great to see because of how sharp their deductive skills are together. But the real highlight was the Conan + Akai + Amuro trio! Seeing them "work together" to crack the case while the underlying tension between Akai and Amuro simmers in the background made every scene feel so much more intense.

I don't know if the series is starting to wind down, but I felt some progress has been made in this volume involving the Crime Syndicate that turned Jimmy into Conan! This book continues where volume 89 left off. It was one of the few that was tightly done, and you "may" not have to read the previous volume of Case Closed...but I think you will enjoy it more. The next story stars Detective Moore and Detective Conan. They are on their way to speak to someone...who turns up dead before they even get a chance to talk! Conan is working on his own mystery about the Men in Black, but it connects (or feels that way) on the current case. The Men in Black are also starting to see Sleeping Moore as an obstacle. and we know what they do to people who become an issue for them! When Hado (a musician making a song appears to have committed suicide) Detective Conan is thrust into the case! This one is much bigger than I initially thought it would be with a lot of mystery slowly being revealed. The final case of this volume involves Harley and Conan as well as Rachel in a cliffhanger story which is not completed in this volume. As seems to be the custom, the rest of the story will be completed in the volume 91 of Case Closed!

Tau kan anak cewek kecil yang tinggal bareng Sera tapi identitasnya ditutup-tutupi sama Sera? Nah dalam sebuah kasus yang melibatkan Sera dan anak cewe tersebut, ada yang menarik dan mengejutkan. Sera manggil anak cewek itu dengan panggilan "Mama" .. kaget kan? Penasaran kan? Nah sama .. karena setelah itu Conan beralih ke kasus lain. Masih kasus yang terkait sama kematian Koji Haneda yang menarik perhatian BO sehingga harus mengirim Vermouth menyamar jadi Asuza
Nih daripada baper sama kata "bersambung" aku bagi-bagi qoute yang aku suka aja
Kegelapan menghubungkan setan. Jangan lengah terhadap Conan Edogawa karena dia sudah benar-benar berbeda dengan pemuda yang kutemui 10 tahun yang lalu. - Wanita Misterius to Masumi Sera

Lanjutan kasus pembunuhan direktur kaya. Di sini saya baru tahu kalau kaca ternyata bisa dibuat empuk dan digunting. Nah, karena kasus ini, Conan jadi mendapat secuil petunjuk lagi tentang kawanan berjubah hitam.
Terus ada kasus pembunuhan detektif roh. Di sini, siapa sebenarnya gadis kecil yang terlihat bersama Seira mulai terungkap. Si gadis ternyata sangat cerdas 😀
Lalu ada kasus pembunuhan vokalis band. Motif dibaliknya membuat hati miris. Di kasus ini, Subaru dan Amuro juga terlibat. Terus ada juga seseorang yang menyamar menjadi kenalan Conan dan kawan-kawan.
Lanjut ada kasus tentang penampakan monster menyeramkan di sebuah desa kecil. Ada Heiji dan Kazuha di sini. Malahan sebenarnya mereka yang mengajak Conan dan Ran untuk ikut. Kasusnya lumayan membuat penasaran. Diakhiri dengan kemunculan monster seram yang dimaksud. Duh beneran gak ya?
At last, tidak sabar menunggu volume berikutnya. Dan selalu 5 bintang untuk Conan. I Love it ❤

Semakin hari kita sebagai pembaca akan nampak Conan telah atau semakin serasi menyiasat bersama Subaru Okiya. Tambahan jika sesuatu kes itu kelihatan mempunyai kaitan dengan organisasi hitam. Misalnya semasa penyiasatan kes pembunuhan Encik Hiyama. Seterusnya, semasa menyiasat kes pembunuh detektif jiwa, Hotta Gaito, Conan secara tak sengaja telah mencungkil rahsia kanak-kanak perempuan yang sering bersama Masumi Sera yang digelarnya "mama".
Perkataan Asaca dan Rum telah membawa Conan, Subaru dan Amuro Tooru bersama-sama Vermouth (yang menyamar sebagai cik Azusa) untuk bersama-sama menyiasat kes kematian Hado Rokumichi. Ia sangat dramatik, masing-masing cuba menjaga rahsia peribadi dan Ran juga seakan menyedari sesuatu - ingatan terdahulu terhadap Angel.
Perkataan Asaca dan Rum telah membawa Conan, Subaru dan Amuro Tooru bersama-sama Vermouth (yang menyamar sebagai cik Azusa) untuk bersama-sama menyiasat kes kematian Hado Rokumichi. 5 sao. Tập này không có vụ án nào dài hơn ấn tượng nhưng ảnh hưởng đến mạch truyện chính khá là lớn.
Có nhiều nhân vật được đề cập trong tập này: Haneda Koji và Scotch là hai nhân vật mới khiến mình hứng thú. Câu chuyện về Scotch và mối hận thù của Amuro dành cho Akai được giải thích thấu đáo.
Chưa kể là sự xuất hiện của "em gái ngoài lãnh địa" và thân phận thật của cô em: mẹ của Sera. Ta nói nó đỉnh.
Rum arc khá là dài (đến bây giờ vẫn chưa kết thúc) nhưng kể ra cũng có rất nhiều thứ khiến mình phải quan tâm và không thể bỏ qua.

I like how the whole story gets more mysterious in a constatnt way. There are quite some characters now that still bear secrets and that we get so used to that we might let our guard down. I am excited to see where this goes next and what willbe uncovered.

Reading many Detective Conan's manga give me a knowledge about seeing letters in different ways, like reading the alphabet like hiragana and so on. This volume is also interesting.

We dive into the Black Organization story, answering some questions but creating more mystery. A very engaging volume, ending with a Heiji story about a monster, to be concluded next volume!

Karena saja sebenarnya cukup penakut, dan gambar-gambar pembunuhan di komik ini, apabila saya membacanya malam hari (saat sebelum tidur), besar potensinya membuat saya bermimpi buruk. Akhirnya, saya tidak langsung-baca-sampai-habis-sebagaimana-biasanya-membaca-komik. Setelah membaca terlebih dahulu vol. 89, saya hanya menyelesaikan satu kasus dan kemudian tidur. Akhirnya esok harinya, selesai juga. Kenapa ya, komik-komik seperti ini lama keluarnya, tetapi cepat selesai dibacanya..
