Revolver, David and Jim's music store and longtime dream, has become a community and off-campus fixture in its few short months of operation. Their first hire, Holly, has shown herself to be a charismatic natural at business. Customers keep flowing in, including Ann, Jim's vanished ex. Just as they take time to celebrate their unexpected reunion, David finds a new world open before him in the form of a plain white cover LP from California titled Great White Wonder, and its vendor, Patrick. The thrill of the future in California is pulling David, just as Ann's forced move is pulling Jim to accompany Ann to Ohio. But who's minding the store?
