This is another book I read to my kids at bedtime. They have been very into Minecraft lately. I cannot say that I understand it and I definitely would not have chosen this book to read on my own. I will comment on my thoughts on the book, but I should probably rate it based on the target audience: my kids . . . and they loved it!

I am not sure the publishing history of this book and other books in the series. The cover says unofficial, so definitely not endorsed by the game’s creators. The quality of the grammar of spelling tells me that it likely was never reviewed by an editor. The story is interesting enough despite being quite repetitive. In the end, lessons were learned about how being different does not mean that we have to be enemies and fighting is not always the answer – so at least it had some positive vibes going for it. I am glad that my kids are into having me read books to them and having material they are into helps . . . even if I couldn’t wait for it to be over!

So . . . if I was rating it just for myself, I would probably give it 2 Stars

I am sure my kids would give it 5 stars

In the end, I will give it 4 stars and will be thankful for material that gets kids into reading. Also, I have watched them play Minecraft and the strategy and building aspects are pretty cool and educational. So, I am also thankful that they are into a game with a constructive and educational aspect.

I will just be over here playing Borderlands 3 or Red Dead Redemption . . .

I liked this book because I liked all of the action, but I still felt like it was kind of short. I think it was scary how Herobrine almost killed Gameknight999! And not surprisingly, Gameknight999 won.

Dieve-kaip-nuobodu.

Labai geras pavyzdys to, kaip marketingas paveikia mūsų pasirinkimus.

Holy cow this book was so good that i would pick it up a read it again if i still had time. the book is a spinoff of the early book. and you would guess by the title that it is a Minecraft book {Or a unofficial Minecraft book} the story is about a 13 year old boy who name is tommy, but we are going to call him Gameknight999. {that is his Minecraft username.} His sister got sucked in the game of Minecraft. What will Gameknight999 do?

Gameknight999 knows the perils of Minecraft are real as he was accidentally digitized into the game by one of his father's inventions. Now his annoying little sister has done it too and he must return to Minecraft to save her. He and a village of friends prepare to fight a zombie army and halt its evil leader from digitizing back with Gameknight to wreak havoc in the real world! Reviewer 16

My son loves these books, but they tend to be poorly edited and repetitive. They do have good messages, but they're hammered home a LOT. I'll keep reading them every night, though.

Trouble in Zombie-town: The Mystery of Herobrine: Book One: A Gameknight999 Adventure, Mark Cheverton, 337 pages.

This book is mainly about minecraft and the horrible zombie king Xa-Tul. Tommy's sister, Jenny (both real life names) get's sucked into the game Minecraft by her father's invention, the digitizer. Tommy, having been there before followed her into the game and they both have to find a way out of the game. While doing so, Xa-Tul the king of zombies, calls all zombies from all servers to kill Gameknight999 and Monet115 (Tommy and Jenny).

Once battling the zombie army and finding peace between the NPC and zombie races, Gameknight battles Xa-Tul and almost finishes him off. Right before doing so, Herobrine the virus, teleports Xa-Tul away from Gameknight.

I personally loved this book because it truly shows that peace can be found anywhere, even on the battlefield. I loved that Gameknight got to talk to the NPCs again. My favorite character was Monet115 because she sparked the peace that came. I loved everything about the author's writing because he was very descriptive. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

This book is called trouble in zombie town its an unofficial novel.

Setting:This book takes place in the 2000s. The main back ground is in a digital world called mine craft. While in this digital world you are surrounded by tons of 3D cubes. Along with being in a digital world Gameknight999 has to deal with monsters. Which leads me to my next point.

Main characters:There are a couple main characters in this book. There is hunter who is a hunter and has red hair and always carries her bow. There is Tommy or Gameknight999 who is the hero in this book. There's digger who even though Gameknight999 killed his wife he let him in his family. There's Stitcher who also has red hair and is hunters sister and she also carries around a bow. There's also Crafter who is the leader of the village that all the NPC's live. Then there's Jenny Gameknight's little sister and that's just to name a few.

I enjoyed this book because I love MINECRAFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also enjoyed this book because I like Herobrine. I did not like this book because I do not like zombies. I enjoyed this book because I liked the part when Gameknight999 and Crafter found Zombie-town. I also enjoyed this book because I liked the part when Monet113 stopped a battle from NPC's vs. Zombies.

I think this was an interesting book, this book contained some cool custom editions for Minecraft. This book was about the Minecraft villain, Herobrine.

I enjoyed this book a lot as I do play Minecraft and I see there is lots of imagination in this book. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

I found this book boring, I attempted to read it a couple years ago and never finished it. I still do not like it very much, it starts slow and the antagonist for me isn't a good character. It's like a Hero's Journey story, the main character saves a damsel in distress from the big bad guy.
