It's one sweet reading, probably one of the most sweet and less erotic by Alexa Riley. And I enjoyed it from the first page to the last. Actually to be precise from the blurb and the warning.
Twenty-two year old Madeline had enough of being a cute little sister of her four brothers. She wants to be a woman, but under their watchful eyes is not going to happen. When opportunity comes and she "wins" a trip to the paradise, she packs up and starts the adventure.
Kenton Monroe is one rich bastard. He saw Madeline at one of the charity events and lost his head over her. But she shut him down all the time. After several unsuccessful attempts to chase after her, he comes with a devilish plan to bring her to a desert island where he could make her fall in love with him. And he doesn't take no for an answer.
I can safely say that this the perfect short summer romance. It will bring a smile to your face and desire of hot holiday affair with a handsome billionaire who could take you to the paradise. Magically romantic and so good with dirty scenes that are kept in a light and sexy climate. Very sweet and heart-warming but also with some action of overprotective brothers. Lot of fun and a little fear of nothing. And guess what? There are three epilogues! Yes three and it's still not enough! I hate that it ended. I could read more and more.
This is a very good series, each is independent and tells a very different story with an alpha hero and sweet heroine. They are original in light, mushy tone with sexy scenes. Of course, with sexy scenes, eventually it is Alexa Riley.

I liked it! I was very patient and waited for the release day and of course once it was live I bought it immediatelly! I knew what to expect, since it AR but there was one plot twist that I didn't see comming. At least not the way it did.
“Is it always this dead around here?”
...And that sentence is probably the biggest lie. Since Madeline is finally free of her overprotective brothers she decides to simply relax and enjoy her time away on vacation that btw. is interupted by her long-term stalker (only she doesn't know about the stalking part), Kenton. To say that she dislikes him but secretly still wants him would be a big understanding.
“I’m not his,” I finally protest, catching my bearings. I’m so far from his.
Kenton wants her something fierce but always kinda manages to say the wrong thing. So what's a guy, who has everything but the one thing he trully wants, to do? Well...let's just say he goes to some extreme measures.
Yeah, I want her to know I want her, but if she knew the crazy things I’ve done to get her close, she’d probably fucking run. Because when it comes to her, I’m just a bit insane.
Those two sure had some talking to do but in the end they really did make a great match. But for those of you who know what's like to have overprotective brothers, know that the real chalange is to get your new man accepted by them. And that's a whole new battle. One that will make those two love birds question just how much they know of each others real intentions.
All in all, I liked readign about their journey and how they got to know each other. I hope there will be more stories in this series. I would certainly read them as well. For those of you who like sweet, OTT stories, then this one is a must! :)

This book was really sweet with two enjoyable characters and some hot scenes in an isolated island!A little paradise for the horny couple. And the best place to start creating life...Although they got a little over board with that...but I still loved it!
I liked Kenton and Madeline's story. I enjoyed that Madeline wasn't falling for Kenton since the first sight and he had to pursue her more and more!And of course I enjoyed that Kenton wasn't so confident around Madeline, he was awkward but still possessive as HELL for his "Sweets"!!!

I'd still make the chase just to try."
I loved this one!Can't wait to see what's coming next!

It was going okay, I liked Kenton, but then we hit the cherry popping scene and my eyes were rolling so much that I now have eye strain. And AGAIN I had 'Come with Me Now' on loop in my head because they always have to orgasm together.
Argh. These books are all the same basic story and I'm getting a bit bored of it every time. The same system can only work for so long without something having to be changed and I think now's the time.
Also, yet again I will say how the over use of names drives me up the wall.

It’s Alexa Riley so you know how this goes but this is a good one, it’s beautiful and sweet.
Kenton is the handsome billionaire with the world at his feet. Madeline is the 22 year old virgin with four older very possessive brothers.
Kenton has never thought much about love or marriage that is until he sees Madeline and then he’s gone. It’s insta-love at its best. Madeline wants Kenton but sees him as the rich playboy and she knows he’d break her heart given half a chance.
But Kenton is determined to have Madeline and he’s prepared to play dirty to get what he wants.
I really enjoyed this one, it’s everything I look for in an Alexa Riley book.
This is the first one of her books I’ve read in months which is unusual for me. The problem was I read several of her books towards the end of last year (they’re short and I was falling behind on my reading challenge) but I had issues and mixed feeling on a few of them so I decided to take a break.

Absolutely #1 of the series for me. Kenton was everything I love about Alexa Riley heroes . Gone for her from first site.. Obsessed, possessive, crazy jealous and so sweet. I could have choked her brother but I really loved how he took it like a man. Madeline was the perfect balance of shy and sassy. These two definitely burned up the pages. I really loved this one from page one. Perfect.. All the way.

Another sweet and sexy addition to the Alexa Riley Promises series that I absolutely devoured. The Billionaire’s Castaway is a firm tongue-in-cheek modern day take on some of the Harlequin Specials of the past, and the duo delivered it brilliantly.
I loved Kenton, obsessed to the nth degree with Madeline, he literally ends up stranding them on a deserted island so he can have some one-on-one time with her.
All I needed was a week. I could make her fall for me in that amount of time. Right?
Having frozen up on their initial introduction a few months previously due to the strength of feelings he has for her Kenton was more than a little aloof due to his nerves, and because of that Madeline has always believed that he disliked her. When she couldn’t be more further from the truth.
I’ve belonged to her since the moment I first saw her. There was never a second when I wasn’t completely hers, and I’d not so much as had a thought of anyone else since then…
You know what you are getting with these books, and they are the perfect couple of hours of reading escapism in my opinion. I would almost go as far as to say that The Billionaire’s Castaway is my favorite of the series so far, and they have all been pretty stellar.
My cock has taken on a life of its own. People would run in fear if they saw this monster approaching their village.
Another kick-ass epilogue, well three actually but they really do finish off these stories to perfection.

Loved this one! My favorite of the series so far. Kenton was a wonderful hero. I love how he went after Maddie and planned to get her. Maddie was annoying me at first but she came around. I did want to strangle her brother though. It was totally OTT and unnecessary drama. Love the epilogue. My only complaint as usual, is I wish it was longer.

Enjoyed this next installment of OTT alpha romance from the Alexa Riley duo. Kenton employs Madeline's brothers and when they bring her to an event, he is instantly smitten and doesn't know how to react. Unfortunately, it comes off as dislike to Maddie who is fighting her own attraction to the sexy billionaire. Soon, she "wins" a trip to an island and who does she run into but the mysterious Kenton. Shenanigans ensue. Misunderstandings are had. Sexy love made. One part's logistics had me a little baffled (the waterfall scene?) but whatever. Still hawt. Lol The story had all the makings of a typical AR book. Short. Sexy. OTT. Possessive, growly, alpha males. No cheating.

I enjoyed Alexa Riley Promises #1 but dislike Alexa Riley Promises #2. Hmm... As you can see, I'm back for liking this book. This series wasn't like her other filthy works. It's more focused with over-the-top happily ever after and I don't mind.
Kenton Monroe has been eyeing for Madeline since their last meet at the party. Unfortunately, Madeline has four brothers who works for Kenton and he didn't feel comfortable. Because of his uncontrollable lust, Kenton prepare a plan to entice her. Madeline just finished her college and wanna be independent because of her brothers. They're very strict and now she has the chance to free herself. She went into an island and didn't realize that Kenton owned it. He was haunting Madeline's wet dream every night.
Their chemistry are so real and strong. I liked how Madeline didn't give up herself easily to him even she's really want him. She has strong mind to think about now and future. Kenton has interesting way to claim her. I liked how his plan works so far (Not like the previous hero. Pft!). Madeline's really pure and innocent; not the kind of turns into slut in a night. While Kenton is really animal in bed, he's really concern about Madeline in every way. So sweet...
Maybe for this romantic gateway, I loved tender-heart alpha male than asshole way. They have intimate moment and dirty enough. Overall, The Billionaire and His Castaway was a great romantic story. The only thing that bothered me was if he used condoms before or not in his pasts sexcapades.nothing was mentioned only that he is clean he gets tested and he hadn't been with a woman in a long time. usually Alexa confirms first time going bare so I was put off a bit. It's my own personal trigger.

I loved this book! This is my favorite in the series and I can't wait for more. The story's so good! He's so obsess and I loved it!
It's about Kenton and Madeline, 22. Nothing was mentioned about his age but I think he's older than her. Maybe a few years.
Madeline just graduated three months ago. She had four overprotective brothers who own a security firm together and men aren't allowed to be near her.
Kenton's one of the richest men in the world and he's close to her brothers. They're also working for him.
They met at a fundraiser. He's attracted to her but he didn't know how to react and treated her the wrong way which she didn't like because she felt like she didn't belong and that he hated her. After that, she's always cold to him every time they see each other. Mostly, ignoring him.

I loved the epilogue! It was so good and funny. I want more books like this.

Once again, I enjoyed this little novella by Alexa Riley. This is the third book in her Promises series and this series is my guilty pleasure. I don't know what it is, but I can't stop reading these books. They are short and full of insta-love relationships which I usually don't like, but there's just something about these that I enjoy.
Madeline is the youngest of five kids, with her four older brothers being very over protective. When Madeline wins a vacation, she's super excited. It's just what she needs right now. It will give her a chance to find herself and if she's lucky, lose her virginity.
"A man can go only so long before he breaks, and that's exactly what happened."
Kenton Monroe falls in love at first sight when he sees Madeline, but he's not sure how to convince her to give him a chance. So after some serious thinking and planning, he sends her on a vacation, but what she doesn't know is it's to his island.
"Okay."
"Okay?"
"Okay. I'll stop fighting this."
"You can fight all you want, sweets, but one way or another I'll have you."
Things are going well, they even go kayaking together. When they stop at a lagoon for some snorkeling, things become very steamy by the waterfall. They end up having to stay the night on the tiny island and soon are falling in love. But how long will that love last when she finds out that Kenton set up the whole thing.
Again, I really enjoy these short little books by AR. If you are in the mood for a quick sexy read then you may just want to give this little series a chance.

*Matthew McConaughey voice* Alright, alright, alright! Suspended reality for my OTT possessive alpha hero fix and all is well. This'n more than made up for the last book with all that hymen licking and breasts that might still have growing to do and drawing cum hearts on butt cheeks, etc.
We have our standard issue, insanely possessive H who will stop at NOTHING to seduce, knock up and marry our sweet little innocent h. She thinks she won a free vacation by taking a 20 question survey but we're suspending reality here, folks! All aboard!
So our H shows up on her vacation that she's "won" at the resort that he owns which is suspiciously absent of ohhhhhh, any other guests or tourists. Seems legit. Then a tour boat brings them close to an island which they kayak to. They have some sexy times where a waterfall is involved and then the H declares the weather unfit to return to the boat so they gotta stay there for the night. Well thank goodness for small miracles! There's a 10x10 hut with a bed and everything and the H has a backpack full of food and water! K!
Now we get the loss of her virginity in a sweet and totally hot scene and then her overprotective brothers show up!
(Yes. On the island.)
So of course we now get our conflict and separation and longing and our H losing his mind because he just. can't. live. WITHOUT HER!
Then of course they reunite and get they fuck on and there's rings, babies, epilogues, super HEA, etc, etc.
****Minus 1 star for having some typos (which actually really surprised me; I don't recall ever noticing any in her previous novellas) and for giving our h a visible baby bump when she's only 8 weeks along.
I don't care if you acknowledge that it's way too early for her to be showing with, "I can’t believe I’m showing already. Most of the stuff I’ve read online said I wouldn’t for a while. But it looks like our little one is ready for the world to know.", unless she's carrying fucking quads that shit ain't gonna fly so don't try it. I know we're suspending reality here but let's not get COMPLETELY ridiculous. Come on, now.

Fun, sweet, low angst novella about a billionaire H going to extreme lengths chasing a sheltered and inexperienced h. 3.75 stars!
This 'Promises' series by AR is about bringing their own spin to existing romance tropes. Their spin is refreshing and healthy - there is clear communication btw MCs, respect for the other's feelings and of course no other romantic partners involved. In comparison to most older category romances where there are shades of misogyny, slut-shaming, double standards, cheating, game-playing and even controlling/abusive behaviour, these books are a breath of fresh air!!
However I miss the earlier Alexa Riley heroes. So far the H's in this series are boring billionaire workaholics with not much personality, they could be clones; AR earlier heroes had interesting jobs - like truck drivers or owning a audiobook biz , hobbies, personality traits - like in The Virgin Duet and it was interesting discovering unique characters within their books. I miss that in this series and hope the authors mix it up a bit and write H's with more depth and personality!!

This is the first time I will ever call anything that is written by Alexa Riley is bland but what can I say?? First time for everything I never knew she could write with such innocence, I guess my dirty mind is used to her smut filled over the top escape. Don't get me wrong, this book is over the top however there is an element of sweetness and plot is written in a concievably tame manner for AR's usual style. I still enjoyed this sweet read as always.

This is my favorite of this series for sure. I loved Kenton and was amazed the lengths he went to just to spend time with Madeline. She was my favorite h of this series. While she was a virgin like the others, she didn't seem as naïve as them. Maybe it was growing up with four brothers. And of course we get the sweetest epilogue like usual. AR does epilogues like no other.

I didn't love this one as much as previous books. Maybe it was the fact that the font the publisher used was so huge. Madeline and Keaton were very sweet (haha) together and the sex was just ok. Loved all the epilogues. I want a series with her brothers (or is there one already and I dont' know it).
