The Little Mermaid has been captured by a cruel wizard, who intends to keep her locked away forever. But help comes in the form of a valiant one-legged tin soldier whose heart is far bigger than he is. Can the Little Mermaid escape her vicious captor with nothing but a talking toy to guide her? Find out in this fairy tale for all ages written by Matthew Sturges (Jack of Fables, Doctor Who).
This is a quite a nice version of the Little Mermaid. It was really awesome. Love the art work. Keeps characters true to Andersen, but with a few good twists.
I liked it. So far it’s pretty good. Both in artwork and storytelling. I felt bad for the toy man who made the ultimate sacrifice for Aurora. The texts can be a little difficult to read at times but that’s not often (thankfully). I look forward to reading the rest of the comic books.
If you like comic books, check this one out. I think you’ll like it.
Enjoyed the fresh view and exquisite colour and drawings. Read at least 3 times so far. Absolutely dying to read the whole series. May be the first that I'd want a full comic collection of. Learned of it through my first FREE COMIC BOOK DAY (2013)!
My first foray into a graphic novel that wasn't romance related. I liked it, it was imaginative and the art was pretty cool. I'd be interested in carrying on the series.
