I like where this series is going, but this issue was pretty filler-y. I feel like it could have been condensed and had more story progression. Still, I like the idea of shit being in the Earth's core.

ooh this is turning out to be rather good , after the rebirth one-shot i was worried that Justice league rebirth would be as bad as Justice league new 52 , but the first 2 issues of the rebirth retelling have proved my doubts baseless

This edition furthur proceeds with the story of the kindreds and the art was top notch and the mystery around the kindreds was well proceeded , there was not much action in this one and while the plot started to progress at a steady pace and the induction of the new / old Superman into the team was put into initiation. That said however one could get the feeling that very little happened in this issue besides the team assembling and trying to figure out what was happening to the world

It's a steady progress to the story and things certainly appear good , it's almost as if a big movie is being played out in this story arc so hopefully Bryan Hitch and his team keep up with the good work in the upcoming issues

The Justice League seems to only face World level type threats and threat they are facing now are worthy of that. As they can induce earthquakes anywhere they want. And if you are facing extinction type threats, then you need your big guns, in this case: bring in Superman! Wonder Woman is tough, but the two of them together are exactly what the world needs to face this threat. This is one of my favorite Rebirth titles.

What an unfulfilling read this series is. Taking very long to get to the central point of getting the team to trust Clark again. The threat is mildly interesting, but it's hard to care when we know they'll eventually neutralize it. Like that Jessica gets to be somewhat capable here instead of being depicted like a weak idiot in her own series. Batman and Wonder Woman remain the strongest parts for me with Aquaman embroiled in a really intriguing subplot elsewhere.

Ok, this is picking up. And since I'm reading many of the solo books as well I think it helps.

The threat is being uncovered and the relationships are being fleshed out. Heck, there were a few times where just looks from panel to panel said more than dialogue.

Well done.

The Justice League is trying to unveil the mystery of the so-called The Kindred who already started their move to conquer earth. Batman and the league needs the power of the impossible so they call on to the new Superman.

Not bad but also not at its best. They're still building up the whole story on a quite slow pace. But still, it didn't disappoint me and I see that something great will happen here.

En México la edición de DC Universe Rebirth es doble, o sea que el número uno, contiene el #1 y #2 de USA, así que la opinión anterior es válida para los dos :)

The stakes feel HIGH here! Batman regretfully reaching out to the big guy was a great sequence. Loved this issue.

For the first time in 3 issues, we get something plot based that was not ripped off directly from the Mass Effect video game franchise. There is something going on beneath the surface of the Earth that is tied in what happened in the one-shot and issue #1. I'm beginning to think that writer Bryan Hitch should have stuck to plagiarizing video game stories because what he has written, that didn't come from another source, isn't very good. I have a friend that is buying these and the fact that I can read them for free is the only reason I'm even bothering with this series anymore. That's sad since there are only 3 overall issues so far. This is the worst series that I've read in the Rebirth line. Writing gets 2 stars.

Tony S. Daniel illustrates his second consecutive issue so at least it looks good even if the story is garbage. There are a few panels in this issue that don't look as if Daniel gave his best effort. Having these issues come out every 2 weeks is going to put a strain on even the best artists so I'm pretty sure that Daniel added a few of what I refer to as "lazy panels' in order to make his deadline. This is not his best work, but overall it's better than what many other artists produce. 4 star for the art.

The 2 star writing and 4 star art average out to make this a 3 star overall issue which is my lowest rating yet. If this keeps going downhill, I'm going to stop reading them regardless of the fact that I get to read them for free. I may not have to spend money towards this series, but it is still a waste of my time.

Light on content

The illustrations are beautifully rendered in this installment.

Other then that, the story is moving predictably and somehow even with lots of action it feels slow. We learn 1 new thing in this issue, and spend the rest of the time reading short dialogue that fails to offer much, if any, insight into the characters, the people of the world, or the enemy.

Having the pre-52 Superman around but yet not trusted by Batman or the rest of the league allows for a change in the dynamic of the team and curbs the tendency to rely too heavily on the man of steel. But otherwise there isn't much of a team dynamic, there's no quips, no arguing, no banter that interestingly educates the readers.

I want to like Justice League Rebirth but so far the issues don't seem worth the money.

3.5/5.

I'm actually kind of really enjoying this series. The art is great to look at, and it's just a fun ride--sort of the equivalent to a (better) popcorn movie. The comics equivalent to Fast and Furious, if you where.

Which isn't exactly a compliment but not really a huge criticism either, I guess. I don't know, this book is just sort of "meh" overall. It's a fun read but I'm not affected by it at all, nor will I probably remember it in a while. It's not offensively bad nor is it great. It's just somewhere in the middle of "ok."

Not much happens in this house, more setting up for the new invasion. I always wonder why they don't extend the Justice League issues out as it's annoying with the individual issues existing at the same time. This issue doesn't a lot of ground but its pretty good.

Justice League

Reading comic books calms my nerves and reminds me not take myself and the world so seriously, sometimes we need to remember to be kids.

En este caso esta segunda grapa se me ha hecho tremendamente corta. El dibujo magnífico eso sí. Espero que en la siguiente avancen algo más de la trama.
