This book was gripping. Within the first page I was hooked and couldnt stop reading it. I honestly cant wait for the next two!

A beautiful, well written story, that touches your heart in places, and gets you so angry in others (for the characters).

Irresistible is book one and the enticing start of the Forever Us Series by new author Jen Marie Lopez, which is projected for three books. I had the honor of reading this ARC and was thrilled with the results.

Bailey is a young woman who loves her family and close friends and would do anything for them. She also loves tattoos and since her brother owns a shop, Bayou Ink, she's heading there for her birthday present from him. What she doesn't expect to find when she gets there though, is a new employee, especially one she has an attraction to.

Dallas is amazed at their instant connection when they shake hands. He's heard of this before but never believed it could happen to him. They both want the chance to get to know each other and see if this can go somewhere.. Protective older brothers make sure he knows that she is theirs to protect and nobody will hurt her. He won't be deterred by overprotective brothers, he really likes her.

These two and the others are faced with some rough stuff being based in Louisiana. Come along and see how Bailey, Dallas and the others handle what mother nature and a blast from Bailey's past throws at them. Will their new relationship be strong enough for what she has to tell him about what happened 5 years ago? Will he be able to do the things he wants to do to please her in more ways than one!?

Jen Marie has written a get to know everyone story in this first book. Bailey and Dallas are the keys but there are other family and friends introduced that I'm sure we'll hear more of. These people live, laugh, learn, face decisions, help one another and support each other. This is what family and friends are supposed to be like. This is a feel good book that ends with a small cliffy but I know the wait will be worth it. I wish Jen Marie huge success on her journey, you did fabulous and should be proud.

Jennie did not disappoint!
5 star review for this incredible debut novel book 1 in the series!
This book made me feel all the feels.
I was crying one moment, I was screaming and yelling the next.
Bailey is a very strong but broken woman. Events in her past have put a barrier up around herself and no one can honestly blame her. The events that went down would have crushed any sane person. But 5 years later Dallas shows up in her life out of no where. The story of Bailey and Dallas is very beautiful and fast going. Things happen quickly in this book. Always keeping you wondering what's going to happen next. And the ended ahhhh! I won't spoil it but I will say book 2 can not release fast enough!
5 stars baby girl 5 stars!
I was very lucky to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

This was a great Debut for Jennie Marie!
Irresitible is a fast paced book that was both sweet & sexy as well as suspenseful at times.
I found Bailey to be a strong confident woman after reading what she had been through in her previous relationship & Dallas was everything that was promised "A sexier than sin tattooed cowboy" that also had a very sweet side. ( I wish I had my very own Dallas!)
All the secondary characters were also a great addition, they always had me smiling.
Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I also loved getting to know the other characters in the story! I can't wait to read more about them. This definitely won't be my last book by Jennie Marie.

Well if the name and the blurb doesn't grab you maybe the reviews will. This hot and steamy romance even has some dark sides. How can you get rid of bad memories and the people that go with them when the person keeps reappearing and opening up old wounds. That has got to be on Bailey's mind as she works to put her past behind her and move on with the new hot Cowboy who has caught her eye and heart at first glance. Talk about HOT the passion is exploding from the two of them and the page in this sexy romance that even has some action and intrigue. The pages fly by as you try to keep up. A strong family and good friends make this an amusing and erotic tale of overcoming obstacles, people, the past and fears!!

*******given an ARC for an honest review****
This was a great first time out for Jennie Marie. It was a rocky start to get me into the book but I was also moody that day. It wasn't long before I started to hope that the female character could over come her issues and find her happily ever after. I'm definitely anxious to find out what Jennie has planned for her characters.

Wow!! I loved this book!!

This book started of hot and then got hotter and hotter.
Instalove romance with well - developed characters and a great plot.

Bailey has had it tough when it comes to men and is traumatised by the cruelty she suffered at the hands of her ex boyfriend Stone.
She loves tattoos and has a very close bond with her brothers and friends. She meets new guy Dallas, a hotter than hell cowboy tattoo artist who has just started working with her brother at Bayou Ink tattoo parlour. Bailey is instantly drawn to Dallas and is intrigued to find out more about him.

Dallas is the new guy in town and then one day he gets blown away by the feisty bombshell that is Bailey and he knows he will do whatever it takes to be with her.
Dallas shows Bailey that a real man would never hurt her and he instantly becomes her protector and lover.

Dallas gets shot by Bailey's violent ex boyfriend Stone and Bailey takes a beating. This makes their bond grow stronger and they are inseparable.

This book will melt your heart and your pants, I love that the two characters both have back stories because I feel this makes their story real. I also loved the supporting characters and the fact that they were all like one big family which gave the story a wholesome feel.

Jennie Marie is an amazingly talented writer and I am hooked after this book. How she left the ending has definitely left me wanting to carry on the story of Bailey and Dallas. I need book 2 now!!

Amazing!! Thank you Jennie Marie for bringing Bailey and Dallas to life.
If you love romance, hot and steamy love-making and hot male characters then go pick up this book and the entire Forever Us Series because you will be hooked!!

It's Bailey's 24th birthday and she's excited to be getting a new tattoo from her brother - owner of Bayou Ink. Dallas, the shop's new tattoo artist, happens to be finishing his last client as Bailey arrives, and in a split second their lives are changed forever. A glance, a simple touch, sparks the beginning of an intense relationship which is as fast as it is steamy. Happy in her life and surrounded by a tight-knit and very protective group of family and friends, Bailey has steered clear of guys, following a harrowing experience a few years earlier and is stunned by the force of her feelings towards Dallas. At the same time, Dallas is floored by the depth of his physical and emotional response to a woman he has just met.

Although the story focuses on the passion these two share, it is also about trust, self-esteem, loyalty, friendship, courage and the determination not to let your past define your future. Physical attraction to Dallas aside, Bailey is still vulnerable and, occasionally allows her insecurities to muddy the waters, but Dallas isn't messing about, he knows what he wants and isn't about to let Bailey's fears de-rail the love he knows is theirs for the taking.

A fast-paced book with a few unexpected turns, finishing in a minor cliff-hanger, but in a good way. A great debut novel, I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

This book had me hooked from the minute I started reading.

men with a tattoo, well need I say any more to that Dallas and baileys story was so romantic and adorable that it was amazing how well they both hit it off, if I ever got my hands on Stone I would have killed him for shooting at bailey and Dallas getting hurt.

this book has made my weekend and I give it a 5 out of 5 stars but really it worth more stars than that.

I would recommend this book to anyone that like reading as it is worth your time to read well written and flows amazingly.

The writing is simple and direct telling you exactly what is going on in a straight up and honest fashion. This does hinder the characters a touch, however, as they seem to state what they're thinking or feeling very robotically instead of having that come out organically in the story. The book also had a bit more of a western vibe than I was expecting but it moves quickly and delivers exactly what it promises.

This book is a great read. I enjoyed all the characters. The author makes you feel like you are a part of the family too. Bailey and Dallas have a great connection between the two of them. I wish it wouldn't have ended the way it did.

I love how real the main character is. She is totally awesome and even though she had a rough relationship she didn't let that mark her. She got stronger from it! And that's what this is all about. Moving on and not letting the past control you.

Who says you're past can't hurt you? Well it can but when you have the family you do it won't hurt you for long. Bailey has been trying to regain a life of happiness and freedom since a horrible night 5 years ago. It's her 24th birthday and she's getting a tattoo from her brother (Colt) at his shop before she heads out for a night of fun. Well Bailey is in for sweetest treat Dallas (the new guy at Colt's tattoo shop). Instant sparks from across the room fly. Dallas is now invited to the evenings festivities. Bailey and Dallas are an instant couple but Bailey's past is giving her doubts about Dallas and his intentions. If you want to know what becomes of Dallas and Bailey the you need to pick up this first book in a series.
Jennie Marie has flow in her writing. She gets you to love the characters and feel with them. She also writes in both POV and that's my new fav way of reading a book.
A definite read with hotness.

This book was captivating, entrancing and dangerously addictive.

Typically I don't read books in this genre and don't often enjoy romance or erotica at all, but this book had me hooked and it's the first time I have managed to read a novel of this time in a single day since forever.

Right from page one you are thrown into Bailey's world of chaos and newfound love. The book was incredibly fast paced and had me reeling from one scene to the next. Buckle your seatbelt before picking up this book, because there is just no slowing down once you open the front cover. The first half of the book whips you through a birthday celebration, a fiery new love affair and a hurricane, all the while with a terrifying felon forcing a horrific past into the present. The story moves so fast you almost get whiplash.

At first I was a little put off by how quickly the relationship between Bailey and her cowboy Dallas was moving, thinking of it as unlikely and unrealistic. But then I thought back to when I was 24 and realised that was the year I got married to a man a barely knew and felt I was being much too judgemental (probably because romance is not a topic I generally read too).

The only down side for me was that I did spot a few typo's and think the book could possibly use some additional editing and usually this would push me to drop my rating to four stars, however throughout my reading I noticed I misread a few things due to being doped up on copious amounts of pain killers at the moment, so I thought it only fair to take that into consideration when doing my review, as it is quite possible the 'typo's' I spotted were due to me misreading.

I was hooked on this book from the moment I began reading it and when I reached the end I kept clicking 'next' on my kindle praying there was another page and was extremely disappointed to find there wasn't one. The cliffhanger it ended on had me frantically searching for the next book.

Brilliant work by Jennie Marie.
