The soul bond has begun. Two days to mate or die. Jessie has lived with her secret for far too long. As her attraction to her sexy yet mysterious boss Connor Knight increases, so too does the danger hovering over their city. Denying the inevitable is quickly becoming more and more difficult.
Connor can’t afford to be distracted by Jessie. He has his family to lead. With only two days to secure a mate, he is left in a bitter conundrum: do what’s expected or focus on outsmarting his enemy Killian before he has another problem to contend with.
Can he and Jessie Lyn finally come together before it’s too late?
I don't know why I tried to read the this book, I wasn't too crazy about the first. I thought for sure Connor would have learned his lesson from what his brother went through, but no. Not only did he not learn, but his mate is beyond stupid. She knows there's some crazy stuff going on and that she CANNOT take care of herself, so what does she do, act out like a child and go off with another man even after being warned. Then she blamed Connor for her almost being assaulted. I just can't continue reading this series.
After all Jessie saw in book one her irrational behavior is, well, irrational. It made no sense that she would not listen. Glad this was Kindle Unlimited.
Oh wow, so much is going on in this series. The real Knight Brothers are enigmas. When they find their mates, watch out! The plot is fantastic, the characters have so many different layers. This book is about Connor and Jessie Lyn. They do over come their difficulties but the struggles. They get their HEA but with a twist. Read and find out.
I would've enjoyed this story but it was angsty, had too many grammatical errors and the story didn't make sense sometimes. I like that the Knights aren't all knowing and the intrigue of Killian but I'm sidetracked by too many questions instead of enjoying the story
