Struggled through this one.
I normally love her writing but struggled with this one, not bothering to finish it. Her formatting of the book was off, going from single to double lines and her grammar was just out making it quite a hard read.

VERY adult rated and ended too quickly without telling much of a sexual story

Truly no idea why authors write a book and then cut it into parts to call it a series. Maybe if there were a full book with a beginning, middle, & end I would have enjoyed this book. The idea of the ghost investagtion was fun but we didn't really get to see any of that. The book was solely based around the sex between the two main characters, and if the story would have actually had a plot to fuel the story, I would have really liked it.
I feel like the premise of the investigation was just filler so the author could back to writing the smutty scenes.

Very demanding man
Very controlling, Jared knows what he wants and takes it. Sophie is not so sure if getting involved with Jared, romantically or professionally, was such a good idea. Bondage and control themed.

Divorced Jared is a control freak. Always in charge but a loving father. He has hot sex with Sophie a cople of times. They are both on a project discovering ghosts in a haunted house.
This is book one of an intriguing series. It has piqued my interest. Can't wait to read the entire series! Well written.

What a page turner! She is feisty and independent but knows when to stand her ground. Jared however seems to think he is a ladies man. Definitely a must read book!
