Princess Tallia has a problem. She needs a son, but to get a son, she needs a husband.
After the death of her father, she is the sole heir to the throne, on the planet Carinia, the only problem is, the Emissars will only accept a male as an heir. Her only hope is to find a husband, but being cut off from all suitors means finding a good man is never going to be easy.
In a last ditch attempt to find the right man, she goes to visit a psychic, who tells her where to find the answer to her problems – in the form of a seven-foot alien with tattoos, who also glows silver like the moon. With no other choice, she pays him to marry her and father the child she needs.
Johar left his home planet of Limera, choosing to be a free man and escape the fate his father believes is his. He loves the life of a trader, and a rogue. But when Tallia asks him to marry her and father her child, he agrees. For money of course … there could be no other reason he would want to play prince to this princess. Or is there?
Harmony Raines loves to write romance filled with magic and love. Her men are usually not so alpha, but they know how to treat their fated mates, or alien lovers well.

Just my way of saying thank you for giving my books a try.
The plot kept me going in this alien romance. It is complex with multiple players. Sadly, the relationship fell flat for me. The writing wasn't smooth enough to enjoy. This left me curious about the two planets but with too many questions unanswered.
I loved how bold he was with her and how she commanded him to marry her. So bossy and scared at the same time. I definitely recommend reading for anyone who likes their alien romance.
Ummm....I think this book could have been better. I mean why did her guards wait until the end of the book to actually do something it's like it made her marriage and the other stuff she went thru pointless. I just don't understand.
I finally got around to reading this. It was originally hard for me to get into. The story was slow. The guy was a jerk but he got better. The story got better but just not a huge fan of the jerk.
Princess Tallia has a problem. She needs a son, but to get a son, she needs a husband. (direct quote from the synopsis.)
I have been following Harmony Raines since last year when I read her Bear Creek and Bear Bluff bears series. Then I followed both of her Karal alien series. Now with her new alien series started she ROCKED it! I loved how she came up with a new take on the alien. He is 7-foot-tall and has silver/glittery looking tattoos on his body that glow according to what is going on. Not to mention that he can use these tattoos to do certain things for him. I loved this new take on the 7-foot-tall alien. But then again Harmony has never let me down with her wonderful books. “The Princess and Her Alien Rogue” is a wonderful book and one that grabs your attention from the very beginning of the book. The story line and the characters take you on an amazing journey. One that you surly will not forget. This book is recommended for mature readers 18 years of age or older.
Princess Tallia is on her last straw. The Emissars have been keeping her on “taps” so speak since her father died. She now has to find a husband so that she can conceive a male heir in order to keep the throne which is rightfully hers. The Emissars are wanting to take back their planet and revert back to their barbaric practices that Tallia’s ancestors stopped when they took over the ruling of Carinia. Now she must pull out all stops and visit the Psychic who her used and her Father had thought he had gotten rid of. This Psychic will tell Tallia that her answers lie in the hands of a 7-foot-tall alien who’s tattoos glow silver like their moon. Her only hope now is to convince her to marry her and father the child she needs to keep her throne.
Johar is from the planet Limera and his on the run from his throne. He is choosing to be a free man because he wats to escape the fate his father has been trying to push on him. All because of his tattoos that glow silver that were the same as his father’s. He loves his life as a trader and a rogue. You can imagine his surprise when he is approached by Tallia asking him to marry her and father a son. Can Johar and Tallia make their marriage work? Will unseen forces keep them apart?

This is a interesting and delightfully entertaining book, and even though it is a quick read I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. the story covers Princess Tallia, who needs a male child but has to obtain a husband in order to sire the child and Johar, a (Limerian) alien who is a trader and rogue whom Princess Tallia offers a large sum of money, to marry her now this is where the story really starts to get interesting. What you will find in this story is, intrigue, drama, suspense, action, a woman trying to take charge of her life, trying to save the people on the planet, a man/alien hired to be a husband/father, a wedding, betrayal, jail, a sacrifice, a son asking for help, a battle/fight, emotional feelings, falling in love, romance and erotic scenes. I found the story-line and plot is well thought and written with just the right amount of drama, suspense and intrigue. The characters have individual personalities with arrogance, fears, needs and desires. I would recommend this book to people that like to read alien books that are different and interesting with a HEA.
The first three-quarters of this book gets 4.5 stars, the last quarter was so rushed and lame after such a great build-up barely gets 1.5 stars. It felt like the author hit her word limit and barely did more than type "The End" and call it finished.
Tallia, Johar and Rian were very interesting characters; page one found them in a dangerous situation. There were magic tattoos whose abilities were never explained. Johar had silver skin that was only remarked on but never explained. The planet was a medieval feudal society in a universe with space travel; there should have been something interesting there to write about. A Secret Monk Society that has been selecting who becomes King. Two planets tied together by a highly threatened Royal marriage. There was so much to work with, Such promise, never fulfilled!
This was a very captivating book? It grabs your attention and keeps you curious about what comes next? It's an action packed adventure with hot sexy scenes and awesome characters? A must buy and keep them coming.
I tried so hard. I'm 39% of the way through and I cannot finish it. The dialogue is so choppy and all over the place.
I used to get in trouble for writing like this in high school. I wanted to finish this one. I wanted to get into it but I just couldn't. I started skipping whole sentences just to read dialogue but then that was awful and it just slid further and further down until I gave up. I'm sorry Princess Tallia.
An excitingly unique alien who is both mysterious and driven who is paid to marry a princess and sire a child! Johan is a man trying to escape duty and is dropped into a predicament where his duty is clearly spelled out but the dangers he faces and the feelings that evolve place him and his princess Tallia in dire straits!! A definite happily ever after makes this a great and interesting story!
The Princess and Her Alien Rogue by Harmony RAINES
Sweet Alien Romance!! A princess in dangerous peril and a prince( who doesn't want to be a prince) find themselves getting more than they bargained for. ABSOLUTELY a FUN READING!! I'm SO RECOMMENDING THAT YOU CHECK OUT FOR YOUR OWN PERSONAL ENJOYMENT!
Man I hope you will make a book 2 I feel in love and want to know so much more like if there will be a baby or 2 and to know about another new found couple omg I could go on and on but really think about it lol and keep you the great work
I was a little disappointed with this book. The heroine was just hard for me to connect with. She was distant and then suddenly she was in love. It just wasn't developed enough for me. On the other hand the plot in this book I found entertaining.
I loved the plot and how despite the opposition from the Emmissars, Tallia is steadfast. The fortune teller is a great add for mystery and loved how she had a hand later getting Johar off the planet.
From Princess to Queen, from a Prince that acts like a trader, then becomes a King. Were she sends her friend a slave rescues the trader from religious cults trying to take over her world.
I quite enjoyed learning about the different aliens and cultures in this story. It made me long for a more detailed series! Hopefully there will be more to read in future!
Difficult times make for a strange marriage, but one that becomes much more. Rescue that has a very, sexy ending. I have read many books by this author and would recommend that you read this one.
Just what I love in my books! A princess in dire need, her fated mate to the rescue, a storyline of romance and intrigue, scifi/alien love induced. Very nice!
