As with all Club Decadence and Decadence Night books, French Kiss is a must read! It can be read as a standalone and is well written with wonderful characters. The author brought back characters from Club Decadence and seamlessly blended them into the love story of Marilee and Arturo while introducing new characters that will hopefully be seen in future books within this series. This story is nice in length and has many twists and turns within the mystery and action portion. Reading this book kept me on the edge of my seat with action, laughs, tears, sizzling hot sex scenes and spankings with lots of BDSM fun. I highly recommend French Kiss and applaud Maddie Taylor for another successful book to please her fans!!

Sweet BDSM romantic thriller

There are some errors that irritated but didn't kill the book (missing/incorrect words, mixed tense etc.)
The characterisation is really good and I thoroughly enjoyed both Arturo and Mari.
The plotline is engaging, more than enough to keep you turning the pages.
There are some sex scenes of a BDSM nature, specifically including Sado/masochism.
If you are a fan of the genre I have no problem recommending the series.

Simply wonderful read, the plot and characters are an amazing read and full of action
This is a story that was a combination of a various number of factors and some of these include Corporate Espionage, Murder and Betrayal and the Agent that she has been dealing with who is Arturo Durand and is travelling to San Antonio of the Rossi Security.
As a long time, Dom and Sadist and is happy to avail himself of all of the delights that are well known within the walls of Club Decadence. Marilee Hoffman is a widow that is happy to avail himself of the delights in Club Decadence.
She has been a member at Club Decadence for a little over a year and this is a fact she is aware of that she has needs that she requires met and yet she shires away, her interaction with the Dom’s at the club are not that well received and it is a certainty that she needs as much help as possible.
Arturo takes Mari in hand and gives her what she requires and it is part of the new life that Mari is now experiencing and it seems that she is finally experiencing the needs she has required in the sexual life and experiences.
You will enjoy this story and I guarantee that you will be thoroughly enjoy every moment of this amazing read it will keep you totally engaged within its pages as you wait to discover the outcome of this wonderful read.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Corporate espionage, murder and beteayal have MI6 agent, Arturo Durand, leaving England and traveling to San Antonio and teaming up with Rossi Security. Arturo is the epitome of a sophisticated, debonair European. As an agent he's equally relentless and dedicated when it comes working a missiom. As a long time Dom and sadist he is happy to avail himself of all of the delights in Club Decadence. Marilee Hoffman is a widow with college aged children and a successful business woman. She has been a Decadence member for about a year, visiting once a month. Her interactions with Doms are lukewarm at best. Deep down she knows what she needs yet she shies away from actively pursuing those needs. Arturo takes Mari in hand and gives herwhat she craves. Finding out she could be part of his mission certainly complicates things but he's not willing to let her go so easily. Mari is happy for the first time in a long time. But discovering that she's been betrayed by more than one person and her married life was a sham may be a bridge too far for her to come back from. Arturo is dead set on keeping her protected even if she wants nothing to do with him. Happiness comes with second chances.

As with all other books in this series, Betryed is a standalone, HEA story that reads very well if you haven't read any of the others Club Decadence books. This book is a good length that allows the characters and relationships to grow without rushing or being too slow. There's great interaction between all of the characters, and characters from previous books make appearances, without their backstory being pivotal to the readers understanding. I really liked that this couple are mature and have already created their own lives for themselves, Mari has children and has suffered the loss of her husband. I like that the children appeared in the story and the realism of their interaction with Arturo and Mari. I would have liked a bit more about their reactions to the relationship, particularly with how the story developed, maybe an epilogue. However, the main story is very entertaining and manages to incorporate lightness even during the heavy parts. Well worth a read.

I love Maddie Taylor's Decadence series. This is a spin-off series from the original but still really good. The original series characters still show up but the new ones are wonderful at carrying the show.
Marilee is a masochist in denial and Arturo is a visiting MI6 agent, who is also a sadist. They need each other but don't know it. What they also don't know is that Arturo is in town investigating a case that neither know will take them to Marilee's ex-husband.
Now it's just a matter of time before their relationship is tested. Can they survive Marilee's husband's bad decisions or will everything come unraveling?

I love all the Club Decadence books and this one is right up there as one of my favourites. Mari is trying to get her life back three years after her husband died in a car crash. Club Decadence is her only hope but she picks the wrong Doms until Dex steps in and sends Arturo her way. Just when Mari thinks she can see a future, her world implodes and everything she thought she knew is destroyed and Arturo carry’s the blame. Those clever girls at the club are not as misled, they have all been, one way or another, in her shoes and guide her to the right path. An exciting conclusion and a wonderful ending. Highly recommend this story.

The crushing loneliness and depression that widow Mari is navigating is deep. Club Decadence is three hours away so she goes once a month but returns home unfulfilled. Until she meets Master Arturo who is in the states on a mission. Unfortunately she is linked to his op.
Maddie excels at storytelling and liberally subjects her readers to danger, BDSM, betrayal, intrigue, secrets and so much steam. Fan your face and jump in a cold shower kind of steam . Every time I read a Club Decadence tale, I learn so much.

So many elements brought together in this full read. I enjoyed reading about sweet Marilee and dominant Arturo. Their relationship has a rocky start, middle and end. There are elements of BDSM as Arturo and Marilee learn to trust each other. This book is well written and described with real and rounded characters. I enjoyed reading this story and series. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and i recommend it. This book and series are well worth buying and reading. Enjoy.

I enjoyed this second story in the Decadence Nights series. The series has people from previous stories, but each reads as a standalone. The emotions are varied for Marilee, from coping with the death of her husband and master, to wanting release, but never allowing herself to go to the level needed, to learning to live again, and then feeling like everything she believed in was nothing more than lies. From overseas to Texas, MI6 Agent, Arturo Durand, is working a case that has seen several of their operatives murdered, and a link to their Texas-based BSE is having leaks and technology sold to the highest bidder. Arturo turns to his American friends of the Rossi group, and while in town, enjoys their BDSM club.
The story has a great cast of characters, many that we have grown to love in previous stories, intriguing storyline, mystery, suspense, angst, passion and high tech spying. What starts out as a one night scene at Decadence, becomes more for Mari and Arturo. What happens when it comes out her late husband was selling BSE secrets? Hurt, confusion, betrayal, and lies, it has Marilee questioning her eighteen-year marriage. Then to learn that you think someone is your friend and they are using you and your business.

Another absolutely wonderful book by this author! The two main characters, Mari and Arturo, are developed and complex characters that have lived very productive and full lives before meeting each other. The author drew me into this story from the prologue and kept me fascinated until the very end. In the beginning of the story I was a little concerned that Mari would not live up to the strong women associated with this series – but I could not have been more wrong. I fell in love with this couple and cannot wait to get to updates throughout this series’ remaining stories.

This book is as good as the others in the Club Decadence – Decadence night series of books. It is a love story wrapped up in an interesting mystery – and with plenty of sex and spanking thrown in for good measure. The story moves quickly, and didn’t slow down at all. I enjoyed the characters, the interaction between them, and the presence of characters from other books in the series. While the book can be read as a stand-alone, knowing something of the other people mentioned did add to my enjoyment of the book.

I loved this book. This is the first of the decadence series I have read. Maddie Taylor did a great job with this story. A woman recovering from the grief of her husband only to find he wasn't the man she thought he was. Betrayal, grief, and intrigue play a large part in this story. Of course their is the debonair french special agent by day, master by night, who comes in a saves the day. I was hooked from page one. Now I am going to have to go read the first book.

Welcome back to Club Decadence! I never thought I'd be into French men but Arturo brought me to my knees, and he does the same to Marilee! Being in the slightly older age range, Marilee doesn't miss a beat! The story follows Marilee as she learns to to give Arturo more than just her submission. Arturo teaches her to trust and love again. Their journey includes danger as well as betrayal and mistrust. Jump on this one!

This can be a stand alone as this is the first in series I have read even though book 2. Definitely plan on reading book 1 and any other that follow this one. If you want hot and erotic sex and lots of intrigue, action and mystery this is the book for you. Characters are well developed and complicated with lots of emotion and have lived life and know what they want even before meeting. Also it captured my attention from page one and hard to put down. Hope you enjoy and love at much as I did.

This was a wonderful addition to the Decadence series. It was a reunion of meeting old friends and new ones. The length is great, there is more time to deeply examine the feelings and emotions of the characters. The storyline was brilliant with many twists and turns with action, adventure, danger, violence, BDSM, romance and love. I can hardly wait for the next one.

Its a good story draws previous characters from the other Decadence Club into the story. a few editing errors but not bad. One part was left haning - Dex called Mari and informed her to attend to paperwork that was left incomplete at the club then nothing else if it was part of the story it should have been closed off it would only have taken a bit of time to do.

Well I loved this book! The entire Decadence series is just wonderful and I would read each book over and over. The emotion was intense and real and I was completely immersed in the developing love story and intrigue. Looking forward to the next one now.

Great Read
Auturo is on a mission to find out who is selling secrets and killing agents when he meets Mari - she's at the club to try and get that feeling she got from her deceased husband. This story is so entwined that it's blew my mind with the who's and the final outcome.

This series is such a great read, I truly enjoyed reading it. It is totally hot, yet has suspense with twists and turns to keep you guessing. You never know who to trust. It has so much happening that it is hard to put down and keeps you flipping pages to find out what happens.
