When Mike left his latest student at the terminal, he knew that Dave was not truly gone. The smell would take a lot longer to get out of his cab. Mike didn't know that wasn't everything that was left.

Again, as with Jason R Davis' other works, I love how the focus is on truck drivers and logistics. A very underutilized premise for horror stories. I worked in this setting for several years and very much enjoyed my time with it. No, this wasn't a bad premise, but just felt a bit disjointed, moving way too fast to establish any more than what the title promised. I liked our lead, Mike, but, again, even his attempted character arc was sort of blurred and didn't have any sort of a satisfying finale, giving anything much context. All the pieces were there for something better, but the pacing and brevity really took away from the overall experience.
