James Harrington is forced to move to Pennsylvania to inherit his grandmother's house with nowhere else to go, but little does he know what is in store for him. When he arrives he is troubled by things that happen, but he has no idea who or what is really out to get him, rather he is preoccupied with his internal emotions and feelings. After being an orphan, he doesn't have anyone to talk to, and he struggles internally with accepting being gay and with being "not normal", he is terrified by the stigmas that follow with being gay. He is miserable, caught up in his emotions, and in denial, causing him to ignore the idea that anything is wrong with the house. He lives in bliss not knowing he is being haunted, while fearful and preoccupied with the gigantic burden of being gay and his feelings. That is until he meets Chris, who is confident, sweet, and vibrant. Chris immediately knows the house is trouble, and he wants to help James at any cost. James and Chris attempt to tackle the dark entities of the house, while becoming closer to each other and shining light on James' feelings, hoping to get to the bottom of the house and attempting to make it out alive together.
