Maya just wasn't in the mood for a wedding. Yeah, her best friend in college had pulled out all the stops for it at this paradise destination. A remote tropical island and a plethora of hopefully available men with hungry eyes: it's enough to make a girl forget her troubles for a week. But there was something nagging at the back of her head, something just didn't seem right.
Adam was always a bit distant from his family, so when he got the invitation to his cousin's destination wedding on a tropical island, he didn't know what to think. Tons of questions swirled in his head, but he shoved them all aside for the time being. Nothing would be gained from trying to decipher his cousin's intentions, and was he really in a position to look a gift vacation in the mouth? Even a Bear Shifter could appreciate a little splash in the water every now and then...
After all, what could possibly go wrong?

This novella is the first book in the Grizzly Groomsmen series. I have read other books from this author and I was not disappointed in this book. This is a standalone but there will be more novellas in the series coming so why stop with just this one? Hot and steamy sex so definitely 18+.
The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that info here. The author managed to describe the characters and the setting in just a few pages. There is a lot of emotion going on with Maya in this short quick read. She has to come to terms with being attracted to Adam, when all her life she has been taught to hate shifters.
I received a free copy of the book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!
This short novella has it all... drama, suspense, action, conflict, secrets, prejudice, attraction, a hot bear shifter, a great plot-line, interesting characters, oh, and some hot sex.
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Adam :BBW Bear Shifter Wedding Romance Grizzly Groomsmen Book 1 by Becca Fanning ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a great romance story by Becca Fanning . Adam is a rich storyline that keeps you entrenched from the first page until the last page. Adam is this big quiet and feels he doesn't belong at the wedding. He feels he has found a partner in crime at the wedding and has his eyes on her she is just what he needs right now. He is completely bowled over by her until she finds out his secret. Maya is charmed by him and finds him at times repulsive but something does call to her and there is this spark, this connection. She escapes the party but she is discovered by him and offered him some of her stolen champagne, they become friends and that friendship leads down the road to love—There are twists and turns in this story that makes this really awesome. I do not want to give the spoilers away but there are certain points and scenes in this book that are must reads. Adam comes to realize what Maya is hiding. But sh is the woman for him. Maya is a sweet woman who is sassy and pretty. When you get to heart of him, he is a really nice and alpha sexy man who is an animal and a tender man when it comes to *his woman* The journey Adam and Maya take is wonderful ,sexy , funny and sweet. The flow of words is so great and the pace of the story is just right. Becca Fanning is truly gifted and so very talented and creative. The storyline is Magnificent and well written. I enjoyed the storyline so much I couldn't put my tablet down. Another thing I love to let you read a teaser so you can read a small bit of why I enjoyed this book so much.
Excerpt From: Adam :BBW Bear Shifter Wedding Romance Grizzly Groomsmen Book 1 by Becca Fanning This material is protected by copyright. Giggly and a little drunk, Adam and Maya made their way back up the stairs and through the long, winding corridor to her room. They paused outside, facing each other, and Maya felt a little clip of excitement in her chest. "You know I'm not going to invite you in, right?" Maya confirmed, raising her eyebrows at Adam. He held his hands in the air, defending himself. "Of course. I wouldn't expect anything less of a classy lady such as yourself." "Hey, I'd be classy even if I did take you to my room," she protested, wobbling slightly on her heels. He caught her, his hands firm on her upper arms, and she looked up at him. "C'mere," she murmured, and leaned up to press her lips against his. He tasted smoky and sweet, a mixture of wine and tobacco, and she found herself fighting the urge to invite him in after all. But no, the last thing she wanted to do was wake up regretting her decision, and anyway, this would probably be the last she saw of him.
This is a Magnificent series of romantic stories. All of the stories will leave you feeling happy and in a loving mood. This is a Fantastic series it's scorching hot, sexy, it has romance with attitude. If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you're a fan of all things naughty, sexual tension, action and humor, this is perfect for you. Enjoy! If you love romance and in need of a pick up this is definitely a fabulous choice for your TBR list.
If you believe in the world of love and romance then the possibilities are endless and fascinating.
I recommend this book to everyone who loves a good love story.
Maya wasn't in the mood for a wedding. Her best friend in college pulled out all the stops at an island paradise destination. Maya must face life long prejudices, which were expounded by her family. She must choose between getting to know Adam and solidarity to her family's beliefs. Adam wants to get to know Maya more, but she is scared of him and his Bear. On top of their personal issues, someone has taken a dislike to the bride and her wedding, placing all of the guests at risk.

I decided to wait to review more stories by this author because I don’t really care for stories that make you feel as if you were left hanging even when they aren’t cliffhangers. While the first set of stories that I read by this author were hit-or-miss more or less, this short novella series was a lot stronger story wise. The plot was much more coherent and each couples story happens within the same arc so you don’t feel as if you’ve missed something or as if something was missing. While each is exciting in it’s own right, some were better than others.
In this story, Maya is there for her best friend Dina’s wedding even though she doesn’t want to be. There she meets Adam and comes face-to-face with some bad wolf shifters. From that point on, I was glad that I waited til they were all out because while the insta-lust/love dynamic that they had going on made for a short but harrowing story.
This is a fascinating and interesting short bear shifter story/book and I enjoyed reading it. The story covers Maya, a reluctant bridesmaid to Dina who is a friend from collage. Dina feels like the guest nobody knew and liberates a bottle of champagne and goes down to the beach to sit and drink and then meets Adam, who is a cousin to the groom and unbeknown to Dina, is a bear shifter. What you will find in this story is, discovering a man is a shifter, prejudice, a stranger on the beach, a heavy storm, planes grounded, fear, bear shifters, wolf shifters, a stalker and his pack, fighting/battle, emotional feelings, drama, suspense, action and erotic scenes. The story-line and plot is well thought out and developed. The characters are developed with feelings of fear, desires and needs. Overall this is a good book to read and I look forward to reading more books by this talented author.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. What an amazing beginning to the series, I loved Adam and the fact that he stood his ground even though Maya was unsure of him to begin with, especially when she found out that he was a shifter, considering her families views and past. But as with all great shifter books, things come good in the end and this is no exception. I'm excited to see where this series goes as the other pack seem to brewing for more trouble and there seems to be plenty of groomsmen to go around and for the story to really get a good hold. I was also a little surprised to see that Dina and Tom were not shifters, or at least Tom, but maybe that'll be a surprise that we find out later in the series - who knows?!?! I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it, and look forward to the continuing series.

Maya is bridesmaid at Dina and Deans wedding, and not thrilled about it. She meets Adam who is cousin to groom and also a groomsman, who is also a little confused about why he is their. How they meet is kinda cute, bonding by hiding :) i was a little disappointed in Maya when she found out about Adam being a shifter. I wanted to slap her and hug Adam. I loved how he tore apart her reason for the shifter hatred. Although, I did like how she still worried over him. She basically gets her head out her butt and form her own opinion and not those of her families. He doesn't give up which is Hot he fights his corner. This is a good beginning. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Who likes being at a wedding and only knowing the bride? Well that is how it is going for Maya. But a short walk leads to getting to know the groomsman, Adam. Before she knows it she is telling him goodnight, even though she really doesn't want to. But when his secret comes out, her family's past might just destroy everything.
Short novella that I wish was just a little longer. Felt like there easily could of been one more chapter to wrap things up more. But still a great beginning to the series. Can't wait for more.
This short story is a great read! Maya is in her college friend's wedding on a remote island in paradise. She only knows the bride. She grabs a bottle of bubbly and heads to the beach. Adam is also in search of solitude and comes upon Maya. Their friendship grows until she learns he's a shifter. She has been raised to hate them. Can Adam change her mind? Read what happens when a storm blows in and flights off the island are canceled and strangers are there to cause trouble. I received this book for an honest review.
This is a very quick reading Novella, almost a snippet if you will that brings together Maya a woman taught to hate shifters from infancy, and Adam a bear shifter. They meet on a tropical island for a mutual friends and family wedding. It is a hot , faced paced meet, greet and fall into a sexual haze read. Hope the rest of the books in the series are longer. 4☆'s for characters and content. I recieved a gifted copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
A big thank you to Becca Fanning for the ARC for my honest review.
The setting is fantastic-a destination wedding. You are a bridesmaid and the groomsmen are super cute.....What is not to like?? I did like the book-but I think maybe a bit more background on Maya would have been helpful. I don't want to give any spoilers but she is conflicted due to her background. If you like shifters-give this a try.
This book is about a young women named Maya who is the bridesmaid for her former college roommate. While being the bridesmaid she meets a handsome bearshifter groomsmen named Adam. Maya must decide if she can deal with the desire for this bearshifter as for hatred her family has against shifters. This is a sweet short story with unexpected twist and turns. I was given a free copy in exchange for a honest review.
Maya was at a wedding and feeling out of place until Adam stepped to make her feel special. Sadly she found out Adam was a shifter and her family hates shifters. Seems her heart and head are messing with her because Adam is sweet, hot, kind and we'll he just rocks her world. I would have liked to read more about the wolf pack that was giving them a hard time but this story just touched on them lightly. Quick story that's hot, fast paced and action-packed
Maya is a bridesmaid on a wedding where the only person she knows is the bride, so she starts to talk to an attractive groomsman called Adam. She feels like falling in love, but there is a problem - Adam is a shifter and her family is strongly against them. Lovely short story, very fast-pacing, maybe a bit cliché regarding the plot, but enjoyable nevertheless. Nice characters and typical solution of the situation. I received a copy in exchange for my homest review.
A fancy wedding, a remote tropical island, bear shifters and wolf shifters? This is the atmosphere in which this story lives. Adam and Maya are great characters. They both fall in love, however will the past prevent them from having a future? I recommend this story. I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a short novella about two people that find themselves drawn to each other at a wedding. They have a major difference to overcome. There is also quite a bit of disturbances at the wedding.
I liked the story. The chemistry is strong between the characters. I would have enjoyed it more if it was a little longer.
This is the beginning of a new series of the author. So far, it is going to be interesting to see what happens. A wedding party ends up stranded on an island and the bride's ex wants to break up the wedding. This is one part of the whole and I can't wait to see what happens next. I did receive a free ARC of this book for an honest review.

Given to me for an honest review. Maya didn't understand why Dina wanted her as a bridesmaid. She was Dina's roommate for four years. Maya was done with the reception and wanted go to bed. She saw the untouched bottle of champagne. She grabbed it and headed to the beach. A very good looking man sat beside her and they talked. Did Maya want to hook up with Adam?
The storyline built up really great in this short story. The element of danger seemed a bit anti climatic, however the hot steamy scene between our main characters was definitely on point. All in all a great short story to pass the time away with. This writer is really good at jumping right into a story and moving it along smoothly. I have been given. An ARC in exchange for an honest review
I received this book as a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.
A great short story from Becca Fanning! This is a fast-paced, easy read. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down. I enjoyed this storyline, and found the characters extremely likeable. I love her books and can't wait for the next one in this series!
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. A destination wedding that gets crashed by the bride’s ex---who happens to be a wolf shifter. A bridesmaid with a prejudice against shifters---until she falls for one. A storm to trap them all on the island. So begins Becca Fanning’s new series, Grizzly Groomsmen.
What would you do if you if everything you were told turned out to be untrue? Love is strange. Great job Ms. Fanning! Wonderful well written story. I was given this ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
As short stories go, this one was pretty good. Danger, love, confusion, and even a biased hatred of shifters. This story has a lot thrown in it !! I received this ARC copy in exchange for an honest review.
Grizzly Groomsmen is book 1 and is a story you want to laugh with. This is Maya’s story she is on her way to a remote island for her friend’s wedding Maya does not what to be on bear shifter Adam’s plane for some reason. What happens when they crash? Great short story! barwatts@telus.net
Kindle Unlimited very short story. She's thought to not like them. So what happens when she finds out she kissed one? A little to short to really get to know characters.
This is a short sweet romance about two people thrown together at a wedding neither wants to be at. It has a little excitement as the brides ex shows up and the bears take care of them. I was gifted this book for an honest review and it's a cute story
