The New Earth #4

Project Hell--Part Four

Rate this book
The trip from hell continues...

It’s been three days since the truths about Hell’s origins at The Factory were revealed. Three days of being trapped with Peyton’s family inside a cramped transport, the space feeling even smaller when full of awkward glances and unspoken words. When the team finally arrives at its destination, it’s almost a relief to get off the ship and do something productive.

But the danger that has stalked Hell since she ran away from The Factory isn’t far behind. And even as Peyton begins to face his true feelings for Hell, will love be the tie that binds them…or tears them apart?

This book is part 4 of a serial story and is not a standalone novel. It is meant to be read in sequence following Project Hell parts 1, 2, and 3. This series contains cliffhangers.

Felicity Kates, also know as Kate Reedwood, is a mild-mannered manager by day. At night, she trades in her high heels for bunny slippers and lets her imagination run wild.

A trained artist and writer, Felicity enjoys writing stories that combine humor with strong characters who know what they want and aren't afraid to go get it. Every story is an emotional journey where the characters must struggle to find their happily ever after. But they do always reach it in the end, no matter the time or place in the universe.

She lives off of coffee and dreams and enjoys going for walks along the shores of Lake Ontario, taking pictures of whatever catches her eye. A romantic at heart, she loves to snuggle under a blanket with a good book to warm up the cold Canadian winters.

When not dreaming up new worlds and books to write with Australian author Chris Heinicke, she can most often be found enjoying the quiet company of her husband and son.

Oh my goodness how my heart hurt for Hell in this book!

Part Four of Project Hell…wow! This “episode” has so much going on- there was laughter and good times; there were some scary tense moments, moments of frustration and anger, and as always with Peyton some smoking hot I need a fan up in here moments.

We’re finding out some things about Sarah that are kind of surprising-there’s a lot more to her than even Peyton could have imagined, and it’s not all pretty. And we’re getting a deeper look into Hell’s mind. She really has captured my heart as this series has progressed. She’s been put through so much, there's a lot she's holding onto- things she's seen and starting to remember, it’s so tough on her keeping these secrets. She’s a bit broken from everything and it’s starting to wear her down.

I really enjoyed the deeper connections this book introduced, especially between Helen and Aunt Jo and Lee. The scenes with Lee were so tender and he was so wonderful with her, I loved the closeness they are starting to develop. And Hell and Peyton, oh my goodness! These 2, I have so much love for them! Peyton really opened himself up to Hell, laid himself bare. Gah I love that man!

This has been such a terrific series. Felicity has such a way with words- I’ve felt like I’ve been living this story right along with the characters. The build-up to this point has been fantastic, and it’s leading to what I can only imagine will be an incredible conclusion, if the cliffhanger ending to this part is any indication!

I'm not usually a fan of serial novels, but Project Hell has kept me captivated from the beginning, and this newest book is no exception. The blend of sci-fi and romance has made this story especially interesting, and while at first I wondered if I would be able to feel a connection to some of the characters, I find that I feel deeply for the things they are dealing with. I can hardly wait for the next book in the series!

If I could put an emoji in this review...

It would be the love one, the shocked one, an angry one and if they made one-an emoji screaming at her book!

This series keeps getting better and better and darn it all if I want Felicity to be furiously typing book five.

Ugh. He'll falls in love! Peyton admits his love! Some excitement happens and a little bit of "oh sh$t!"

But the ending? My god the ending shocked me. I cannot wait for the next one.
