Need to reread this (as it doesn't take much time), I remember liking some of the books from this series, and some just meh. Will rate it later. I have to admit, just like the first book, this book is not one of those I clearly remembered, but I enjoyed it all the same during the reread. At first I thought it was going to be another "variation", and mediocre at best, but not far in the first chapter it already won me over. The circumstance is again a take that has not appeared before; once our heroine explained what kind of man she's looking for as a husband, and what prompt her determination, what kind of marriage she wanted, the kind her father was unable to achieve due to a complete bitch of a wife, was, at least to me, a fresh take. I was not bored at all.
