***This is the COMPLETE serial, with parts 1 - 4. Now included is a BONUS story- Fobidden, Part 1!***
From NY Times and USA Today bestselling author Cali MacKay...
From the moment Greyson sets eyes on Juno, he knows her for what she is—his fated mate. There can be no other for him, which poses its own set of problems when he finds her standing over the dead body of a bear shifter from a rival clan. With the dead man’s family seeking revenge, the only way to keep her safe is for them to get married, making her a protected member of his wolf pack—but that’s going to take a whole lot of convincing, especially when Juno looks panicked and ready to bolt.
Juno has a massive problem and accidentally killing a man in self-defense is just the start of it. She’s still rattled after finding out about a world she never knew existed, especially when she’s hiding a huge secret of her own. Though Greyson is sexy and sweet, and she could really fall for him, sticking around just isn’t an option, since she’d only be putting him in danger. And marrying him? That’s definitely not a solution to her messed up life.
With Juno’s life on the line, can Greyson convince her to take a chance on him, knowing he’ll not only keep her safe but make her happy or will she risk it all to keep him from the curse she has no control over?
Cali MacKay is a NY Times and USA Today bestselling author. She lives in New England with her husband, two girls and their crazy mutt. When not tapping away on her laptop and getting her characters into trouble, she can be found designing book covers for other authors, wrangling her girls, and splicing DNA. She's also a decent potter, adventurous cook, and a horrible gardener.
I rarely say this about a book, especially given my favorite series is Anita Black by Laurell K. Hamilton, for the first time in my extensive book reading life, I have found a book with too much sex. No kidding every other scene is them banging. I started to skip over the sex scenes. The small bits of context to an actual story is extremely lacking with the main focus being back and forth over who has the right to feel guilt. It doesn't end. Greyson manipulates the female character, Juno, into having sex with him the first time, then she gets thrusted into a marriage with him "to save her life". The author brings up BDSM but ignores the one back bone within the BDSM community which is CONSENT. Greyson ignores his mates plea for a condom and to not get pregnant and then manipulates her to giving in and having unprotected sex with him when she is ovulating anyway. Then THERE IS A RAPE AND TORTURE SCENE. No trigger warning on this book at all. As a rape survivor I found this just as appalling as ignored consent violations. And to top that off, Greyson, states had he not lied to her and manipulated her, that the baby would have been her rapists so she should just be happy that he did! What the ever loving hell???? If the author, Cali MacKay, knew anything about BDSM and the BDSM community, she would know that CONSENT is everything. I have been trying to force myself through this book because I hate not finishing books but honestly, I don't even think it is worth it and I am literally 50% done with it.
Received an ARC copy, of Greyson, from the author, for an honest review. Let me just say that "shifter" books are not really my favorite type of books. But Cali you have definitely changed my mind! This book is an amazing start to the Silver Moon Series. I know I love a book when I can get lost in it for an hour and escape my busy life. I wont waste your "reading time" telling you what this four part serial is about, the synopsis does a great job. What I will tell you is that Greyson is a TEN on the steam scale. This book has it all danger, hot alpha male, an independent, strong woman, and of course lots of heat between the sheets. Cali gets down and dirty with this one... Thanks Cali !
This was a good story idea. The writing is pretty good. But......in my opinion, it was too long and had too many subplots. Greyson was a little too much for me. He was constantly making decisions for Juno and he was a little too obsessed with sex, like every other scene in the book. Juno was way too whiny and submissive and constantly giving into to his demands. There are also some serious triggers in this story for anyone who has been the victim of a crime of violence. The amount of inner dialogue was just too much. While this was a good idea and she is a talented writer, just couldn’t get past the flaws.

it was amazing
Wow! straight into the action in this first part of Cali's new shifter series. This is the first one I've read that has had Bear shifters, there size alone is a bit scary. However Greyson and human Juno are sizzling together, you almost feel the tension rolling off them and the page. Only a short read but remember you need to commit to all four parts for the full story, to be honest after reading this part I don't think it will be an issue as you will want more. The end is left on a cliff hanger so I know I was anxious to get stuck straight into part two. Greyson - Part 2 (The Silver Moon Pack) by Cali MacKay (Goodreads Author)

More twists and turns to keep your head spinning, so compelling you just don't want to put it down. Greyson is so intense with his feelings for Juno, the mating just strengthening them. But he is also extremely protective and determined to keep her safe. I am loving this story and I am thankful that I waited until I had all four parts, mainly because with the cliff hanger endings it would have really sucked to wait for the next release. Going straight into the next part is so much better. It is the first time I have read a story with shifters other than wolves, so many different types mentioned I cant wait to see how this continues to play out in part three.

it was amazing
Warning! this part could possibly be a trigger for some readers as it contains violence and abuse. Tempers and testosterone are in high abundance, it is also a little bit disturbing the lengths some of these shifters will go to get Juno away from Greyson. She is now dealing with so many emotions from all the varied ways her life has changed in just over a week, some of it she doesn't even know about yet. Greyson is so alpha, but I don't think he even realises just how much. There is a real roller coaster of emotional highs and lows in this third part, I could even feel my blood pressure go up in places while reading, I got so tense at times. I just want these two to get some peace to be happy, for others to leave them alone and stop causing more issues and stress. Gosh! I just get so wrapped up in the story I forget it's just fiction and not real life, it feels like they are real and I'm living it with them. So engrossed in it I finished it in about 40 minutes, but it is late now so much as I want to go straight into the last part I have to go to sleep. I have a feeling though this will be giving me dreams tonight, hopefully good ones of beautiful wolves running and playing in the forest together.

it was amazing
The culmination of everything, all the twists and turns, the building suspense all finally coming together in this explosive final part. Still some surprises which you don't see coming, this is intense with so much on the line. Cali has a way of keeping her readers spellbound with her books and this is no exception to that. Glued to the pages throughout, there is a fast pace and no time to get comfortable in between the action. This couple just get one hit after the other with threats surrounding them both, the resulting issues for Juno as the aftermath of the abuse and violence from part three are also at the forefront of their minds. Fantastic read from start to finish, be warned the ending leads into the next installment of the main series Ryder.
I “liked” the story, but good Lord, this was long. Greyson is a shifter and he has all of your normal shifter issues, mated to a human who only just found out about shifters, everyone wants him to be Alpha but he has no interest, danger, killers, strange super natural powers, enemies left and right. Juno has secrets, she’s human and thrown into a shifter world, someone is trying to kill her and life as she’s known it is over, forever.
This story had so much going on, it was just too much. Not to mention, in the midst of it all, Juno and Greyson were having sex every hour it seems..after a while, I just started skipping over the sex scenes, they were redundant and ceased to be “sexy”. While I understood that a lot happened to Juno in a short amount of time, she whined through this whole book..oh sure, she had moments of her strong willed self, but other than those few moments, she whined or worried herself through the whole book..again, she had some stuff happened and I get it, but she was never Alpha mate material..I think she irritated me more than anything.
I wanted to stop here, but I’m curious about who becomes Alpha dammit.🤨. It’s a good story, but I wouldn’t read it all at once..it was just too long. I’ll get to Ryder’s story soon enough.
Greyson knew Juno was his fated mate but convincing her of that was a big hurdle especially since she didn’t have a clue about his world and who he really was. She had her own secrets, which involved killing two men and now a bear with her bare hands. With the bear clan wanting her dead and the alpha of another pack wanting her to join his pack, Greyson has all he can handle trying to keep her safe and his.
This author did a good job with this plot and the characters. I loved Greyson right away but got very irritated at Juno’s back and forth attitude and not really understanding how much danger she was in. I enjoyed being able to read all four stories in one sitting. Parts of the story were nail biting at waiting to see what was coming next so the suspense was a great plus in the story. Ryder, Cullen and Kiernan were a great addition. I liked their characters as well. Enjoyed this book.
I would definitely get this complete series if you're going to start this story as each part ends in a cliffie.
I really liked the heroine, Juno, as she continually showed strength as her character had to evolve through a lot of circumstances in a relatively short period of time. I enjoyed our Hero, Greyson, though there are still mysteries of his past that were alluded to, but not brought to life in this story, and for that reason, his character wasn't portrayed nearly as complex as Juno's. Although the book holds Greyson as its title, I think this story was more about Juno and the transformations she went through, figuratively, emotionally and physically. I can't wait to see how she and Greyson evolve in Ryder's story.
Juno has a power she doesn't understand. She goes to the mountains to get away and gets attacked by a bear shifter. Greyson, a wolf shifter, comes to help her but she kills the best with her power first. Turns out she's his mate and the danger, complications and angst begins.
The bear shifters are after her. Another alpha wolf wants her. She's abducted by an unknown third shifter. It just keeps going. She confused and scared throughout. Yet even when Grayson lies to her and she feels angry and betrayed she still has sex with him. This book should have had half the threats and been half as long.
The second half of this is actually another book from this author.
This book was a lot better than some of the reviews led me to believe. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a lot of sex but it makes sense for the characters and their relationship. If you think about the basic carnal nature of the Shifters and their basic need to mate and breed, it makes sense. This is wonderfully edgy tale of a love that was meant to be. Greyson was prepared to fight hard for this relationship and he laid it all on the line. His quirky mate had her internal demons to battle, or better yet tame and accept. She experiences so much devastation. Greyson's love sees her through it all. There is quite a bit of paranormal adventure and some disturbing twists that all fit the storyline.
This story was long and complex. Juno is Greyson's fated mate and he realizes it right after stumbling on her being attacked by a bear shifter. Well, Juno isn't your average human and ends up killing the bear shifter. That leads to cries of revenge. Throw in another crazy wolf shifter, some crazy pack politics, a heart wrenching attack, and a heroine who can't make up her mind and you've got a crazy, complex, but intriguing story. I found this book slow to start, but by the end of part one, I knew I was going to finish it. I enjoyed this story and am looking forward to Ryder's book, which was set up at the end of this one.
This was my first real interest in shifters. I read this box set as each part became available. I will say it peaked my interest and the next part couldn't come quick enough. Poor Juno went through hell and I just had to wonder what she did to Cali to get such torture. (LOL) But in the end Cali pulls Juno through the gates of hell and back out on the other side. Greyson's family sure is a hot one. If ever a shifter came for me I hope he's one of them. Greyson will forever be a favorite shifter, I think Ryder will be a close second. Can't wait for his story to unfold
I enjoyed the book. The beginning immediately captured your attention and was pretty fast paced. The middle had a lot going on, and the pace slowed down a bit. It did pick up again as it moves toward the end of the book.
This book and Ryder (Book 2) are standalone books. I wish I had read this book first. I would recommend it. I think you will enjoy Ryder more if you read Greyson first. I may go back and read Ryder again.
Enjoyable (with the exception of one scene), fast paced read with plenty of action and steamy sex scenes.
This was such an Awesome Book. I had no clue this was the Greyson from the other series. No wonder he was such a mysterious character. I loved you concept and description of the shifters. They were very intriguing and interesting. This was a bit darker with all the trauma that Juno had to face throughout the story. But in the end it was HEA for all the right characters. Great Read!!
This is a four book set and is the story of Greyson and Juno. Lots of drama in this shifter romance and it begins with Juno killing a shifter from a rival gang. Greyson knows she is his fated mate and he trys to convince her not to run away. Each book ends with a cliffhanger except the last one. Fast paced and full of suspense, danger and drama. I voluntarily chose to review an advance reader copy of this book.
Serials never make good one book stories due to having to repeat same information. Due to being a serial we get cliffhangers at the end of every part. It also felt dragged out and time consuming with repetition happening. Grayson was okay but not always likeable. Juno took a long time to get her head on straight and accept she was stronger than she believed. Not quite sure about the ending, felt unresolved for me. New author read through KU.
I like the characters and the fated mate premise. I would have given it a higher score, but Greyson is a pushy and a bit self serving and Juno was really slow to com around to her strengths and they both repeated their thoughts too much. Otherwise I liked the storyline.
So, Greyson is actually a 1 Star read. The book, despite being completed, has an unfinished feel to it; it’s definitely underdeveloped. There was a second “bonus” novel included with the set that was better, but still no more than a 3 star read. So, I’ve settled on two, and honestly wouldn’t actually recommend it.
Fanfreakingtastic. I loved this book. Freaking awesome characters. Fast paced, dramatic and action packed. Sexy and holy hotness full of tingle worthy moments. I can't wait to read Ryder.
I loved this book. The fact that he is a wolf was a big surprise. I loved Greyson for the other books he was in and couldn't understand why he didn't have a girlfriend. he really found the right girl and they are perfect together.
I would not recommend this book to anyone. The author has a very limited vocabulary as the word FUCK was in nearly sentence. It sounds like the story could have been a good one if it would’ve been with out using the same words over and over
Greyson finds Juno on is mountain as he moves back home. The mountain is full of "others" and what is she doing there with a dead bear shifter in front of her? Good shifter story with a bonus one of Riley and Thorsen at the end.
First off. Book has a lot of reading some won't want to read. Most of it will make you mad. The second both was just okay. Not one I would of bought by it self.
I enjoyed this story Riley and Thorsen have been holding on to an attraction for years. Life intervenes, but Thorsen is not about to let go! Marvelous.
