The book Tomb Keeper is suspenseful and truly fascinating. The turn of events will make the readers attach to the book. The narration is very good and detailed that’s why one could be able to envision every scenario the writer wants his readers to perceive. Also, there is a sudden feeling of fear in few parts of the story. The progression of the story is quite anticipating when it comes on how Horacio and Padre Alcazo suffered and possessed by the demon Tumbarius. However, I just noticed that the "theater scenarios" are just few and the story of Horacio and Padre Alcazo are the center of the book. The series of events in the film center are not so thrilling and I think not enough to scare the people. Additional characters like Cisco and Aris didn't serve their purpose well.

To correct their past mistake Bishop Agcaoili, Fr. Nilo together with a group of spirit communicators returned to Manila Film Center hoping that they could save the soul of the girl Clarissa who asked for their help and believing that they could finally end every unresolved issue that was left behind. However, their final visit will not be as easy as they think. The book focused more on the prequel of Tragic Theater, how Tumbarius (the Tomb keeper) got at the Film Center and how this demon possesses an ordinary person named Horacio and Padre Alcazo who is a servant of God. The descriptions of these two victims of how they suffered and died in torment are spine-chilling and sickening yet sympathizing. This uplifts the story. I could imagine like I'm watching the exorcism of Emily Rose. What happened to Padre Alcazo is one of the anticipating part of the story, its unpredictable. In the sequel, I just noticed that the character of the girl Clarissa was lost all of a sudden as Marlo one of the communicators sees Matangpilak and gets back only at the latter part when Fr. Nilo sacrificed himself which I find unreasonable.
