When Ella Goodman's surrogate grandma died, her last wish was simple - she wanted Ella to get off the sofa and have an adventure.
Ella's not the impulsive type but she's left with little choice - if she doesn't complete Edith's wish list, she'll end up homeless.
As Ella drifts from one disaster to the next, she has one goal: Finish the challenge. She's not going to enjoy herself and she certainly isn't going to fall in love... is she?
Elise Noble is an English rose with a few thorns who loves chocolate, sleep, and well-defined abs. Not hers, unfortunately. She lives near London with a horse who eats all her money and three dogs who eat everything else.
Elise writes real, gutsy heroines and flawed but swoon-worthy heroes in stories that mix mystery and mayhem, humour and happily-ever-afters.
it's one of the best books of elise . I had a great time reading it . it's a complete package . it's got humour , entertainment, romance , adventure and so much more . loved it .
Elise has done it again! I wasn't sure what to expect from Hollywood's bad boy, but Elise made me love him. And Ella is just a fantastic character. There isn't as much suspense in this book, but it is still there.
Faced with a list of challenges Ella must learn to trust herself. With great humor, wonderful friends, and a cute horse riding coach Ella tackles her challenges.
A shy, klutzy girl with an adventure list, horses and a hot guy… what could go wrong?
Ella, a foster kid who had finally found a family with Edith, her surrogate grandma, has a terrible job for a horrible boss. When Edith dies, Ella discovers she is the beneficiary of Edith's estate, but only if she completes a bucket list of 15 adventurous things within a year's time, at Edith's request. Sounds simple, right?!? Not for Ella who is mostly a klutzy hermit who much prefers time on her couch to socializing or doing anything active, but she bravely tries her best at conquering Edith’s list.
After a terrible date with a guy who becomes a sort-of stalker and her ex, who she dumped after finding out that he cheated on her, start showing up at her door and texting her at all hours, Ella decides to go to Linden Hollows to learn how to ride a horse so she can complete one item on her list - compete in a dressage competition. Her one-on-one trainer, Connor, has the looks of a Greek God, but is very off putting at first. However, neither Ella nor Connor can deny the sparks between them. Is it their love for Linden Hollows or something more that gets stirred up?
Will Ella complete Edith's adventure list within a year and get Edith’s house, the only house she has every considered home? Is Connor just a gorgeous face or is there a decent human being underneath? Can Ella survive her time at Linden Hollow with two mean, spoiled princesses?
This book is fun, funny, sexy and enthralling. It is a hard-to-put-down / just-one-more-chapter type of book! I lost sleep reading this book! Hurray to Elise for throwing in so many plot twists that I didn't see coming. Elise is a horse enthusiast and her knowledge and love of horses comes shining through in this book!
Nothing but a Trouble is Book 2 in the Trouble Series, but can be read as a standalone. There are characters from the other books that make appearances and make this book even more fun to read! NBT is a full-length novel with a HEA and no cliffhanger. Loved this book!!!
The title to this delightful story should give you an idea of how trouble follows Ella around. In the beginning, I was intrigued with the challenges that it looked like she would have to face. I found that this book was so hard to put down, as I just wanted to keep on reading!! There are so many things that make you totally laugh out loud. I laughed so hard that I cried at some of her experiences with “The Uglies” and the Vajazzle! There was some suspense in this as well. She was blessed to have such good strong friends in her life. This book is delightful and funny. I highly recommend it!! I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Better and Better! This story just kept getting richer and more entertaining as I read! As the characters reveal more about themselves I found myself liking them more and more. The many events in this story of one sheltered young woman's attempts at becoming more "adventurous" in life range from familiar and relatable to deliciously fantastic. And all of it is grounded, believable, and compelling. Every time I had to put the book down to do real life stuff, I could not wait to get back to Ella and her life. This is the first Elise Noble book I've read, but it won't be the last!
Ella represents completely the name of her book - she is Nothing but Trouble! Although definetely in a good way. She makes you laugh so hard you cry a little, and Connor is exactly what she needed. I love how they complement each other, how every time Ella goes through something Connor is right there to help her out and show her that a little trouble is not always a bad thing and can lead to great things (although the car lessons could've gone better).
This book and Ella definitely kept me laughing. I really enjoyed this book and seeing the different relationships with the secondary characters that both Ella and Connor had. I would definitely recommend this book!
Another fun read by Elise , her writing and story telling are great adventures with excellent characters you get to know !!! The end up book friends and you harbor finish her books !!
A book that won't allow you to get bored till the very end...interesting,adventurous and ofcourse suspense with romance...a complete package...I loved it...
Love this series! A great follow-up to Trouble in Paradise, this time with added horses and an awesome twist towards the end I wasn't expecting. Can't wait for the next book!
