Maggie and Killian may have prevented Earth's destruction, but the Other Side is not looking too good. The queen of the elves is dying and when she goes, everyone goes. Even worse, Maggie's got to move in with Killian.
Time is running out to save the queen and the situation is serious enough for Maggie and Killian to start a ragtag resistance team with Father Killarney and Xiaoming. It's going to be one hellish ride through the Dark Dimension, especially since their mode of transportation is a horse whose riders tend to be of the more headless variety.

These books are short, sweet, and always leave me wanting more. I can easily see binging this series in a week or two.
Maggie is one of those characters that you either love or hate. I am on Team Maggie, but I know she is a lot to take. She's brash, makes bad decisions, and is generally hard to get along with. Luckily, she is surrounded by people who take her down a notch pretty regularly and with sarcastic and hilarious banter. In this story, Maggie is still trying to fix the mess she got the elves into a few books ago. The queen of the elves is stuck in a perpetual loop, except it's not perfect. Each cycle puts her closer to death, which, because she's crazy, might not be super bad, except all elves (including awesome Killian) are included in this.
The team gets together in this book, which is what everyone always wants. We've got the plucky priest, the smoking magician, and there's even an animal sidekick. Do things go smoothly? Of course not! We are left knowing that there is definitely more to this story, but what Maggie book doesn't end like that? I'm eager for more, so will probably dive right in to the next book.
Maggie Reloaded (Maggie MacKay Magical Tracker - Book 7)
Wow I'm still shaking!! I know you shouldn't start at the end but this is my review!! What an intense ending!! This story was all about Maggie and Killian trying to find the solution to the dying Elf Queen. Not only was the Queen dying, but her subjects (including Killian) were dying, as well as, her forest kingdom. Maggie, Killian and friends have just so much time to find what objects are needed to bring the Elf Queen, her people and the Mother Tree back from a slow death. All sorts of mayhem tries to stop them at every turn. Maggie's Dad gets involved and unfortunately shouldn't have. Graham shows up to help, but gets burned doing so. Thank goodness for Father Killarney and Xiaoming for their willingness to be of service!! Jam backed with excitement, troubles, humor, nasty and strange creatures, new characters, the Dark Dimension and even an evil uncle!! Another amazing and fantastic addition to the series!! On to book 8!! 📚❤️ Kathy Barber Doyle - 5/16/2018
Honestly I've only not reviewed until now because I am always in a rush to start the next one. I've enjoyed Maggie's ad lib approach to saving the world, with her friends and family in tow - who are only slightly less crazy than her. She's a butt-kicking badass with a heart, even if she'll never own up to having one. Thanks Kate Danley
I am flying through this series, and loving every minute of it! Maggie is the best. The humor in these books is so good. I can’t wait to see how Maggie gets her partner of of trouble in the next book!
I'm binge reading this series. This book is crazy fast, full of action and humor. Not as much personality as other books but Maggie and Killion are true to form. I deducted one star due to language.
Maggie and her cohorts are on yet another quest. The ending actually has me tensing up. This book was a great ride and I am plunging right into book 8!!
Again a lot of fun to read and the suspense was there right to the end. Looking forward to continue reading about the adventures of Maggie and Killian.
"Maggie Reloaded" by Kate Danley is the seventh book in the "Maggie MacKay Magical Tracker" series. Maggie never wanted to be the girl that has to save the world, time and time again. But due to her role as a world walker, she finds herself in tough situations that require her to use her set of skills to come out on top. That's not to say that everything turns out for the best. For example, in this latest novel, Maggie has to save the elven race from dying. That's easier said than done. The Elven Queen is stuck in an interdimensional bubble that's preventing her from maintaining the life force of her people. But that's not going to stop Maggie from trying to save them. With the help of Killian, and the rest of the gang, Maggie is willing to ride a hellhorse through the dark dimension to get what they need to save the queen. Overall, this was another fun read and a great addition to an awesome series!
The one and only thing I disliked about this book was that by finishing it I now have to wait for the next one to come out. I devoured the series and highly recommend reading it in order. I was lucky that when I finished the previous book I only had to wait a couple days for this one to come out. I am eager to see where the story goes moving forward. I really enjoy not being beaten over the head by the tension between Maggie and Killian as their friendship and partnership grow and change with all the other things going on around them.
This is the most crazy and fun fantasy series ever, and I hope Kate Danley will write lots more stories about Maggie and Killian and the M-team. I love the way the characters are written, the way the plot evolves, there is nothing strained about it, and there are always surprises. So Please Kate: keep writing these stories :-)
Another fast paced, funny and witty story with all the usual brilliant characters plus Lucifer! A dark dimension horse. Loved this but it ended on a cliff hangar arrrggghhhh
Love love LOVE Maggie MacKay. This series is sooooo good!!! Can not get enough of our Maggie-Girl and Killian. It just keeps getting better and better!!
Another great Maggie MacKay story..... which I can't wait to continue reading. I almost wish that I was behind in the series so that there would be no delay.
Ahh I missed Maggie! She is such a great character. BUT HOLY SHIT CLIFFHANGER(S) The next book better be out soon waiting might just kill me seriously this time.
I love this series. The main character is wonderful, but I am particularly impressed with how multi-faceted the other characters in the book are. I heartily recommend it.
Great story lots and lots of action, mystery and suspense. It a normal Maggie story. So far the only thing I didn't like was the cover, made Maggie look like her mother. Great book as always.
