Twenty-one-year-old Harper Matheson came to a tropical paradise to flee her past. All she wants is to blend in with the crowd, somewhere far away from Boston and the media circus that surrounds her disgraced family and her notorious father.

But when she meets gorgeous, sexy tourist Ethan while on vacation, Harper finds herself falling deeper and faster for him than she thought possible. Their chemistry is unmistakable and unstoppable, and for the first time in a long time, Harper is able to just live in the moment…

Until Ethan disappears into thin air after one fateful night together, leaving her with more questions than answers.

Returning to Boston, Harper’s life is descending into chaos when she sees Ethan again, in the most unlikely of places.

It’s only than that she realizes Ethan is not just some random tourist she had a torrid one-night-stand with on a tropical island. Ethan is the son of one of the most powerful men in the world, and her family’s sworn enemy.

Harper knows that she and Ethan can never be together, not in a million years. But one shocking revelation after another will force both of them to face choices that will irrevocably change their lives forever.

Will Ethan steal Harper’s heart for good? Or will family secrets and old wounds ruin a fragile new love before it can truly begin?

Love the story. Like Romeo and Juliet but with happy ending after all.

Good Foundation, Not Sure About Delivery

Overall 3.5 stars. I enjoy Ms. London's books and I just had a hard time with Harper running off again instead of talking to Ethan first. Why couldn't she have validated what Ethan's dad said to her? Why did Ethan let her get in the car and allow it to take her away? I believe the story line has a good foundation but I am not so sure about the delivery.

Wow!

This story has really raised my anxiety level. Just when things start to seem to get better, BOOM, some new person gives their opinion and knocks our heroin to ground. This is one of the most intense stories I have read this year. I hope the next installment comes out sooner than later.
