He thinks I don't know. He thinks he's getting away with it. He thinks karma won't come back to get him. He needs to think again. Men think women are vindictive, and maybe they're right. But when we get to the point of being cold, calculating, and vindictive, it's because they pushed us there. Not only is my husband unaware that he's pushing me too far, he also doesn't realize that I just met a man who's ready to catch me. I think he's just my new co-worker. I think it's just innocent flirting. I think I'll be able to keep my morals. I need to think again.*Contains adultery themes.

People like to say things like, “Be the bigger person. Rise above and move on.” Well, fuck that. You don’t always have to be the bigger person. You don’t always have to take the high road. There are times when a person needs to know they fucked up and they can’t get away with it.

Moving on.

Aria's had enough! After forgiving her husband once for not being able to keep his trouser snake coiled, she's in no mood to forgive his indescretions once she finds out he still can't seem to keep it zipped.

Instead of flailing herself on top of her cheating POS husband and kicking the shit out of him, Aria decides to get all her ducks in a row, prove the cheating and force her soon to be ex to agree to a divorce.

If only the pesky love of her life didn't have to join the party before she's permitted to fully enjoy him.

I just loved this story. I loved that the vengeance seemed realistic and never over the top.

I loved Aria and Chris. Hot damn!

I loved that Karma was a big, bitchy bitch!

Most of all, I loved the writing. This is my first, but not my last Isabel Lucero book.

Yes and more yes to epilogues galore.

This was the perfect book at the perfect time for me. If a wee bit of revenge thrown in with a sweet and hot romance sounds like your cup of tea, you know what you have to do: go forth and read, people!

Aria Stewart, a beautiful, successful nurse appears to have it all. A great job, beautiful home, handsome and successful husband. Wait, I forget to mention this handsome successful husband is also a cheating bastard. She should've known once a cheater, always a cheater, but years later, she's stuck in a marriage with a man who secretly surfs cheating sites, hooks up with women in hotels while she sit home alone... and angry.

 photo AB7567C3-EFFA-4190-B36E-F747E3A93841_zpsvgvn59iz.gif

And then Dr Chris Callahan comes into her life. The newest physician hired in her office, Aria and Chris have an instant connection. But she's wearing a wedding ring which makes her off limits. When easy friendship spreads to lending an ear, Chris is soon to find out the woman he's so attracted to is living a hell with a man that doesn't deserve her. And he intends to prove she deserves better...deserves him. If she'll take him.

Think Again obviously has cheating so if that's a hard limit, this probably won't be a hit. Unfortunately this book strikes very close to me and the entire book felt like deja vous. No, I don't have a cheating husband but a dear friend has an Aaron and their stories are virtually identical. I couldn't help but attach to Aria's story because it felt so real to me. Isabel Lucero really did a great job putting the reader in the painful position of feeling the immense betrayal at the hands of her husband. The anger. The feeling of needing vengeance. The self doubt as a wife and a woman...

And then someone gives you a second look. A compliment. A feeling of self worth again. I didn't care if it's cheating- finding solace in the arms of someone who finally makes her feel valued and beautiful. She was a heroine who, on one hand you wanted to give a gigantic hug, and the next minute slap upside the head to leave the farce of a marriage she's staying in. But who are we to judge? It's surely not so easy or Aria would've done it the first time he strayed.

Isabel Lucero has always delivered plots with a nice balance of steam and story. Her characters are relatable and life conflicts are, especially in this case, realistic. I look forward to more from her!

Romance and adultery 3.5 to 4 stars.

As a rule I don't read books about adultery, if I know there's cheating in a book then I just don't read it, I always feel sorry for the one being cheated on and it spoils the book for me but I made an exception in this case because while we know from the blurb the husband is cheating we also know the wife has someone, so I thought I'd give this a try and see where it goes.
Aria and Aaron have been together for seven years and married for three, he's cheated on her in the past and he's cheating again, she knows it she just needs to prove it. His family don't believe in divorce the last time she asked for one he refused so this time she's going to do it right.
Her marriage is a shambles so she's definitely not looking for anyone else, she's got enough on her plate getting rid of the man she's got first but things don't always go as planned and the new doctor at work is not only single but absolutely gorgeous, he's the right man at the wrong time, she's a married woman but then her husband's cheating so why shouldn't she have some fun?
So like I said I don't read adultery books for a reason and even though Aria's met Chris and he seems perfect I was still annoyed that she'd been cheated on repeatedly for so long and it seemed to be taking her ages to get her 'ducks on a row' but all things considered this was an enjoyable read after all and there was a surprise thrown in as well.

And the award goes for the most romantic plot ever: CHEATERS.

https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

IMO, if your spouse/boyfriend/fiancé is cheating on you, it makes them sleazy, jerks, lack of character human being. But if you do the same thing, you are descending as low as them. One mistake doesn't justify the other. There's no excuses for cheating. None. Get out first. You always have the option to leave. Unless you've being held at a gun point. Or your life or someone else's life is in danger if you leave. Otherwise, try to start again in a clean slate

Nope. Not a good book in any way for me. I am so amazed at all of the good reviews on so many of these books-the so called "new adult" genre. It must just be for the sex and romance and back and forth emotion of the characters because the story is weak, the writing not good, and overall just a horrible characters.

From some of the other reviews I assumed this was going to be different and while the husband cheated, they make it sound like the wife would be different and the new guy, Chris, would be this understanding, sensitive, and amazing character. Well, no. It goes down wrong in so many ways and very uncomfortably to me. Chris is just as much of a sleeze and sex-on-the-brain, inappropriate guy from the beginning. He knows she's married. He doesn't know she's having problems at first but he still acts very inappropriately toward her-a nurse in his clinic (he's a new Dr there) and she acts very inappropriately too. I get her husband is cheating on her and he is a total one dimensional sleeze ball character, but wow, this was written in no way to make me have sympathy for anyone. It wasn't hot either. I felt icky in a not-good way.

The characters take a long time to sort themselves out or the main character does because she says her husband is so old fashioned he won't want a divorce? But he has sex with pretty much everything that moves? What year is this set in? Lol.

And OMG, the sex scene with her lover when she is actually texting and talking to her husband?! I don't care what sleeze ball he is, it wasn't justified or hot or anything but uncomfortable.

I'm most definitely not a prude and I can enjoy a good sexy read but wow, this was so off the mark it was ridiculous.

I know I'm in the minority with this review. I would only recommend to someone who likes the new adult genre (although why is it listed as young adult/new adult???? The main character is 28 and the guy 34!) that is all about drama and sex, and you don't mind cheating stories.

Need a hot doctor in your life? Then it is most definitely time to meet Dr. Chris Callahan.

“You ever just look at someone and know they’d be good in bed? He has that good-in-bed vibe.”

But what happens when the attraction you suddenly find yourself unable to deny is to a married woman?

“I want to kiss you, Aria. I want to touch you. I need to feel the way your body reacts to my touch and my mouth. I need to show you how attracted I am to you.”

Aria is a married woman who works for Dr. Scott’s office. The same office that Chris starts to work in as well. Her marriage sucks, it’s simple as that. But still she has never once considered having an affair. Until Chris walked into her life.

“Being alone with him is a dangerous game. His eyes hypnotize me. His lips call to me. His body begs me to touch him.”

Yes, this story involves cheating. Cheating is one thing that I am strictly against, but I will still read about it. This story was tastefully written, and I couldn’t help rooting for Chris and Aria. Aaron was an asshole! I adored Janna, Aria’s best friend. Think Again was sexy. It was full of love and soul mates. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more from Ms. Lucero! ~ Tiffany, 4 stars

This is a love triangle with husband and wife cheating on each other and being vindictive as all heck. Not necessarily my cup of tea. I am more of the alpha male going to do whatever it takes to keep my girl and vice versa. That love hard type of read. This is not that. I gave this book 3.5 stars because the writing is good meaning the characters are well written and the story line is decent IF this is your type of genre.

Aria, Aaron and Chris are in a heated mess of hell. You have a woman who loves her husband but then relents and decides enough is enough. That I cant take and I applaud but then you throw in the mix of the cheating scandal – hell no – wait until you cut your ties and then do whatever – yes I know its fiction but it hits home with me. Seriously fix your shit and fix you before you jump into anything. Yes Im opinionated on this. --But again it doesn't mean its NOT for you!

Not a bad read just not for me --- click it up if this is your type of read or you enjoy a good love triangle. Thank you Isabel for the ARC! Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.

OMG this was so damn good!!! The angst. The sexual tension and innuendos. The heart gripping dirty details. Isabel did a fabulous job of gripping me from page one, and then holding my attention all the way until the very end. YES this book deals with cheating so if you can't handle the emotions and feelings that come with that then this isn't the book for you. BUT if you are like me and enjoy the angst and the love triangle side of a well written "cheater" book then you will fucking devour this book! I couldn't get enough of Aria, Aaron and Chris. It's for sure a book I will go back and read again and again.

Hmmmmm.....so I am kinda torn on this book. While parts of me really loved it, some parts are still unsure.

The gist of the book is about a couple Aria and Aaron and she suspects...well more then suspects his infidelity. I immediately loved Aria and her charisma and her want to find true love. I felt her being stifled and her wanting to find that butterfly feeling in your stomach.

Aaron I really was trying to like but by the end of this story I straight up hated him. Once you read, you will see what I mean. I honestly give Aria huge props for staying so long with him.

This storyline is about Aria trying to find out the truth but also out of the blue possibly meeting her one true love. This is where I was torn...cheating. Is it ok for one spouse to cheat because you think the other is cheating? If you know they are for a fact they are and you are choosing to stay is it THEN ok for you to do it? Not only you do it but still stay married to the person. I found myself frustrated at the events unfolding with all of this.

I loved seeing Aria finding herself and knowing that she finally deserves more and I loved seeing it play out what happens with Aaron...I especially enjoyed the ending....whereas the old saying goes..."every dog has his day". The sex scenes were pretty hot and all around I liked the book just didnt love it.

He thinks I don't know.
He thinks he's getting away with it.
He thinks karma won't come back to get him.
He needs to think again.

Aria and Aaron met and dated then married... For Aria, things were going great till she finds out her husband has had an affair. After confronting him about the affair, he 'promises' to never do it again. What woman doesn't want to believe her husband that he will be faithful and work on saving their marriage. How do you ever trust again? When the signs are there again that something is happening, Aria takes it in her own hands to gather as much evidence to sever the marriage.... But when confronted as before, Aaron tells her...Not going to happen, he will never grant her a divorce...

In the meantime, a new Doctor comes to work at the office where Aria works. A fresh, hot, new ray of sunshine. Chris is every woman's dream of a man!!! But is Aria just on the rebound looking to get even with her cheating husband?

This is a very good, well written Taboo subject. It makes you think about who you trust and who your true friends are! Look forward to reading more from this great author.

I really loved this story, but then again I don't have a problem with cheating when it's not done gratuitously (although Aaron certainly wore that word out!!). What I really love is that old saying about revenge being a dish best served cold given that douchebag Aaron didn't quite know what to do with his bowl of ice.

Is there cheating? Absolutely. Did it bother me? Absolutely not - things are not always what they seem and I'm so glad I dove into this one, I bloody loved it. I think what really made this work for me is that Aria already had plans in place to leave Aaron before she met Chris, she genuinely wasn't out to get back at Aaron.

I really liked both Aria and Chris (Doctor McHottie .... why isn't my doctor that HOT?) I love that their relationship wasn't rushed, that Aria didn't want to wrong Aaron till he tipped her over the edge. I don't judge people in this position because I honestly don't know how I would react if I should find myself in the same heartbreakingly awful predicament that Aria found herself in. She really did love her husband despite him cheating on her more than once.

The writing was good, the pace as well. The characters were kinda realistic and the drama as well, but i was kinda disappointed because of all the high reviews and i just didn't think it was that good.

Its a cheating story, you go in knowing this, but based on the reviews i thought it would be more tasteful than this. the heroines husband cheated a few years ago and she forgave him, now hes doing it again and shes trying to get her ducks in a row to get a divorce. I get this, i would do the same thing, however, she wasnt really doing anything. She tries to get on his computer a few times but he interrupts her, she waited to see him once in the hotel, and thats it. No distracting him to get the compurer, no following him to take pictures, nothing, it would have been easy because the husband wasn't even trying to hide his tracks, no getting her own place asap, nothing. She was telling herself that she's pissed and willing to walk away and get a divorce but none of her actions convinced me of this. She was very passive aggressive about the whole thing. She said it's been a month since they had sex and they are like roommates now butit was not enough time between falling out of love, getting ducks in a row and lusting after the new man.

I think the real reason she walked away was because of the other man, Chris, the new doctor in town. I didnt like him. He met a woman who is an employee of his that has a wedding ring on, they shamelessly flirt with each other under the guise of friendship. He even tells her that his ex lsft him for a guy that got close to her under the guise of friendship. He knows its wrong but they are still doing it. He pursues her as if she's single or already divorced and eventually she cheats with him. I get it, ur husband is a cheating jackass but that no justification for cheating back on him. She just stooped to his level, and there was no need. Eventually she does get her ducks in a row, not for herself, but to be with Chris.

It wasn't bad, but, not good either.

Meh. This one was Fine. I couldn't really get on board with the H refusing a divorce despite his inability to keep the trouser snake buttoned up. We don't live in a time and place where we cannot unilaterally divorce a serial cheating spouse, no matter how much his traditional family might not like that. I really couldn't suspend my disbelief with that one. Plus, the new romance just felt too insta-love to me. I think maybe this is a case of me being the wrong target market for this book.

This novel is about a cheating husband so if you’re uncomfortable with this topic, I suggest you give it a pass. Otherwise, Think Again> is a well-written novel about a cheating husband and so much more, a novel which I highly recommend.

Aria and Aaron have been married for seven years and once during that time Aria caught him cheating on her. When he admits to the affair he promises he’ll never do it again and Aria hopes for the best. Fast forward to the present and Aria has suspicions that he’s cheating again but doesn’t have any proof. Instead of trying to rationalize his behaviour, Aria knows something is going on. She sees him at a hotel with a beautiful woman, always closes the door to his home office where he’s on the phone all night and the excuse that he’s working late, etc. etc. That’s still not concrete proof and that’s what she needs to get the divorce because Aaron doesn’t believe in divorce, will not consider it and refuses to be the first married man in his family to get a divorce. Getting a divorce is worse than cheating? Aria reflects on how much she loved Aaron, the things that they did together and the love they shared, none of which they share anymore. Instead, she and Aaron are growing apart and they’re not intimate like they once were.

Aria, vulnerable as she deals with her bad marriage, meets the new doctor, Chris, who’s joining the practice where she works as a nurse. Is this good or bad timing? It’s evident right from the start that Chris is taken with Aria and vice-versa. Their friendly banter comes easy to them as does the innocent flirting, or so Aria thinks until Chris tells her he’s very interested in her. So is Aria but she doesn’t want to stoop down to Aaron’s level. Knowing she’s still married, Chris continues to give her everything that Aaron isn’t emotionally. Out of the blue Aaron starts paying more attention to Aria which she doesn’t understand leaving her confused.

There is one thing I’d like to mention and that’s how Aria got Aaron back. It was so awesome that I couldn’t help but cheer for her (and wouldn't even think of). It also makes me wonder if others like Aria would do such a thing or worse. I can see a lot of interesting discussions to be had, like would someone who’s been cheated on continue with their marriage or break it off severing all ties. Personally, I know I’m not the kind of person who could stay married to a cheater because the trust that was there is gone. I’d become someone I’m not (and someone I’d not like), a woman who calls her husband all day every day asking where he is, who he’s with, what’s he doing, etc., with the inquiry to continue when he comes home. That’s no way for either partner to live. Then again, there are those who can forgive and forget. Kudos to you all and like always we must respect everyone’s opinion on this delicate subject.

At the end of the day, if you’re in the mood to read about what a married woman goes through, the feelings, the heartbreak, her self-worth when she knows her husband has been and still is cheating on her and when a new man shows his heart on his sleeve, add Think Again to your “want to read” list.

I got the privilege to beta read this book and OMG did I love this amazing book!

Isabel Lucero has really won my heart with this book and I gotta tell you, it was intriguing, AMAZING, emotional and so you'll get so many other feels while while reading this book!

My heart went out to Aria because she was such a great woman. I loved the fact that she was strong-willed and she tolerated a lot from her husband Aaron. She put up with his bulls*t, but she did it because she loved him and accepted him for his flaws. She forgave him once before for his infidelities but enough is enough!

Chris comes into the picture and even though she found herself attracted to him, she saw him solely as a friend. She had had enough with her husband and she was just trying to get through and focus on her marriage and what she was going to do about it.

Aaron was a real douche-snozzle. He basically was married to Aria out of convenience and not for love. Is it worth wasting your life with someone you don't love just out of convenience?? The more I read this book, the more I disliked Aaron for what he put Aria through.

I don't condone cheating, but sometimes it's so worth it to do it to people especially when it has been done to you and not only once but several times.

When Chris came into Aria's life, I instantly knew that he was going to be perfect for her. He was kind, gentle, fun and sooooo worth it!!

I seriously loved Chris and Aria together, they were a match made in heaven.

I can't express to you how much this book really blew me away!

There was so much to the story that if you give it a chance and read it, you'll enjoy it as much as I did. Just don't read the book if you don't or can't tolerate cheating because it's not fair to the author to give them a bad review due to cheating.

Let me just say I have been a fan of Isabel's since I was introduced to her Escort series. Since then, I have read all of her books and enjoyed all of them! When I read the blurb for this book, I was hooked! This book is now one of my top reads for 2016!!

We meet Aria, who is married to Aaron. Their marriage isn't the best because he is unfaithful.. She already dealt with that from him and they moved passed that. However, she suspects he's doing it again..What unfolds after that is one hell of a story with a kick ass leading lady!

Chris..Chris..Chris..What can I say about him? I loved how he was with Aria. She needed a friend and she was not looking for anything else at the time. What are you to do when the one person you love the most deceives you? How do you get over that again? As time goes on, Aria and Chris get closer..Yes, they have an attraction to each other and their back and forth playfulness was cute. Chris did what Aaron couldn't.

I know it's a difficult topic to some people, but this story is SO much more. Once you start, you will not be able to stop because you want to see how it all plays out. What happens to Aria and Aaron? What about Chris? Do yourself a favor and get this book now! Isabel has once again proved to me why she is one of my favorite authors.

This book got me hooked from the minute I read the first chapter. I absolutely loved Aria and her sweet attitude with a healthy dose of badass! She is married to Aaron who cheated on her once and she suspects he's doing it again. Her relationship is nothing like she imagined it would be. They have grown apart and she hasn't been able to get past his deceit. Now that it seems like he is at it again, the last thing she needs is her own temptation knocking on her office door.

{Enter super hot Dr. Callahan} Chris... Oh my GOD CHRIS! He is tall. He is handsome. He is funny. He is smart. He is witty. He is sex-on-a-stick. He is fucking perfection! This man had me giggling like an idiot the moment I read about him. I fell in love at first sight and I think Aria did too.. A little bit, anyway. He embodies everything Aria is attracted to and everything she wants in her life. He makes her feel beautiful, wanted, and respected. But he is forbidden. She is still married.

Will she take a leap of faith or will she stay with her husband and work things out? She tried doing that once. Maybe it's time for Aaron to have a taste of his own medicine. Maybe his reaction will be enough to make Aria stay.... Or it might be too late.

This is my first book by this author and certainly will not be my last! I read Think Again in one sitting because once I started there was no way I could put it down. Aria and Aaron didn't have a great marriage or even a relationship any longer. And not for lack of Aria trying because she was the only one trying until finally abandoning hope. Reading through the first part I just kept thinking I hope she finds HER happiness . No matter the situation Aria is a strong woman and handles herself very well. Until Chris comes along and makes her feel things that she has not felt before. Their bond is strong from the start and Chris makes sure she knows that he isn't going anywhere. Aria finds out of so much betrayal even from some she never would think could turn their back on her. But though everything you realize even with heartache, pain and lonliness there is still hope for a great future. This book had the ultimate perfect ending and I loved every page!

description

Think Again by Isabel Lucero was a great 5 star read.

The beginning of this book really pulls you in and you just can’t look away. Aria is sitting in a hotel lobby watching a woman and a man walk out. I was shocked to learn who this was to Aria. And I tell you what, she is a stronger woman than I would be.

There are so many emotions floating around in Aria’s head. But I do have to say I loved it when the Dr. Callahan came into the scene. The bantering, flirting and humor between them was great. The attraction was off the charts. Why can’t Aria do what her husband is and have a little fun? Will she get enough evidence to finally leave him or will she forgive him AGAIN?

Think Again was a great read. Yes it has cheating but it’s a reality for some and to judge a book for that is ridiculous. Aria had the courage that only some women can only dream to have. Not sure if I could have forgiven my husband the first time. Isabel really pulls you in with her writing and leaves you on the edge of your seat wanting to see what is coming next. 1-click and get started. Thank you!

Don’t get me wrong, I love my happily ever after endings, but life is not always kind, what you expect or what you want it to be. Sometimes life sucks. I like reading books about life. This is one of those books.

Aria is married to Aaron and on the outside looking in, she seems to be a very lucky woman. She has everything any other woman would be jealous off. But things are not always as you would imagine. The one person who she should have depended on betrays her in the worse possible way.

Aaron takes what he has for granted and does not value it as he should. He mistakenly believes it will always be there.

Chris Callahan is new in town. After suffering his own heartbreak, he is ready to start over. He is not looking for love, but sometimes you find it when you least expect it.

it is hard to talk about this book, without talking about some spoilers. Obviously you know there is cheating, but real story is how this affects a marriage, family and friends. This story gives you a look at how this affects everyone and how much it hurts.

Aria loves her husband. She married him expecting forever. But how much can a wife forgive or ignore? I loved that she did not make a decision lightly. She thought it through and in the end, made the best decision for her. Some may see her differently, but if circumstances would have been different, she would have made different choices. In the end, all you can do is work with the cards dealt to you.

Aaron was just unlikeable. I felt no compassion for him. Even when he finally could have deserved it. On the other hand, Chris was so sweet. He saw Aria for who she was and what she wanted. There was no pretense with him.

Think Again has angst and heartbreak, but it also gives you second chances and hope. All of which are part of life.

I give Think Again by Isabel Lucero 3.5 stars.

Aria and Aaron dated through college and have been married for three years. Aria already caught him cheating once earlier in the marriage, and she knows he's back to doing it again. This time however, she's determined to collect the proof she needs to justify the divorce she wants and clearly deserves. She's determined she will not let Aaron talk her out of it this time.

Chris is a single, gorgeous doctor who has just moved to town. Aria is one of the nurses at the practice where he'll be working and she's also one of the first people he meets. Their connection is immediate and its obvious that they are meant to be in each other's lives.

Okay haters ... Don't be thinking you can't read this book because there's cheating. The story is written in such a way it doesn't really feel like someone is being cheated on. Not really. Aria and Aaron's marriage is already in trouble and she's looking for a way out. Chris helps Aria to realize she's worth more than what's she's been getting. There's no pressure or push to make her do anything. The friendship between Chris and Aria is instant and it's as if it's been that way for years. The funny banter between them is really easy and comfortable. They just connect. Chris is a great guy and such a sweetheart. Aria is a wonderful woman and really struggles with what she has to do. But you can only put up with so much and be taken for granted for so long before something snaps.

I loved it and I especially liked the epilogue. I ended this book grinning from ear to ear.

Well in true Isabel Lucero style, I fell completely in love with her story Think Again. It is a story of love, longing, betrayal and redemption. It has a lot of ugly truths of love as one could say or maybe it a breath of fresh air. This book is a true double edged sword that I couldn’t put down.

I had mixed emotions about the characters of this book in the beginning; books with cheating are sometimes hard to read. But the more I read, the more I could feel the characters inner turmoil and it made them so relatable and real. That is always the “it” factor for me with a book, being able to relate to the character, for them to seem like a real person and this story has it! I found myself reading faster just to see what was going to happen, to see if Aria was going to find her harmony or if the chaos of her life would completely take over.

This is the kind of story that makes you assume you know what you’d do in her situation, but after all was said and done it made me “think again” on how I would handle things myself. This is a great read and I recommend it to everyone (even if you don’t like cheating, it’s a great read).

Even two days later, I am still having a major book hangover from this one. So much angst, so much drama, so much hotness…this book absolutely consumed me. Like the family had to order pizza because I refused to come up for air until I was finished consumed. The way that Isabel took a typical love triangle and put her spin on it was absolute perfection. I literally never dreamed that the curveball that she through at me about the best friend could ever happen and then even more secrets came out about Chris! OMG! And Dr. McHotty, AKA Chis…holy freaking cannoli. I was white knuckling my kindle from being so anxious to see what happened between Aria, Aaron and Chris. If you are looking for one of those books that torments you to the point that the outside world does not exist, then then this is definitely the book for you.

4* read.
Usually i won't read books with any form of cheating in, mainly because of a personal experience i went through so i just don't enjoy reading about it although i know some people do. That been said i did keep a open mind while reading it and i do love this authors work so was willing to give it a go.
The main character Aria is married to Aaron who she suspects of cheating on her again but she needs proof so she can divorce him. Whilst working as a nurse she meets Chris a Doctor who makes her feel beautiful and wanted again but the problem is shes still married. Will she get a divorce or will she cheat? I don't want to give to much away so i'm keeping this short but i did love Chris and i really felt for Aria. Difficult book in places for me personally but overall an enjoyable read.

Story is told from Aria's (FMC) POV only

I realized something about myself after reading this book. MCs cheating on each other is a hard no. MCs cheating on other people to be together? It's kind of hot. There is cheating in this book, but not between the MCs (FMC revenge cheats on her husband with MMC).

For those giving this book a low rating because of the cheating, did you not read the blurb? Or any of the reviews? Even if cheating isn't your thing, this book deserves at least 3 stars because it's well-written.

The banter between the MCs is top-notch. The actions, conversations, and story as a whole is realistic. You can actually see/feel the relationship building between Aria and Chris. It's sweet and though there's drama, it's still a low-angst read.

However, it doesn't deserve 5 stars because (in my opinion) there were a few things that I didn't like.

1) despite the book cover being super sexy, this was a somewhat slow burn. The MCs do meet fairly early on in the book, and the flirting is immediate, but they aren't intimate until more than 60% of the way through. The intimacy is hot, but it's pretty normal stuff. I was hoping for more than 2 or 3 sex scenes and I was especially hoping for it to happen more while she was still married. Only 1 scene is while she's still married.

2) did she forget that she was supposed to be plotting? Her whole thing was catching her husband in the act but after she meets Chris, she completely forgets about finding more evidence. It just ends up falling into her lap.

3) the double plot twist was a little much. I get it- the author really wanted us to hate Aaron to justify Aria cheating on him too, but it felt so over the top after such a low-angst story.

If you're looking for a sweet read with more romance than spice, with just a hint of taboo (the infidelity), then this is the book for you.
