Treasured Love: Treasure Harbor #3 is by Patricia PacJac Carroll. It is included in the Treasure Harbor Complete Series set by Leah Atwood, Belle Calhoune, Patricia Pacjac Carroll, Kristen Ethridge and Angel Moore. This series consists of “eight novellas centered around the quest to find the treasure hidden by Drake Burton, in the seventeen-hundreds.” Legend says that the treasure is somewhere near Treasure Harbor, North Carolina. Thousands of treasure seekers have come to Treasure Harbor looking for the treasure. Kori James had come to join them.
Kori James had been brought up in a small town by her Grandmother. Her Mother had gotten involved with drugs and alcohol and a bad group of people. Kori was just as glad her Mother wasn’t with her to spoil things again. Kori had come to Treasure Harbor to find a treasure. With it, she could get away somewhere her Mother couldn’t find her. Now, she had to get a job and a place to stay. It didn’t look like her car was going anywhere. Luckily, she got a job at the diner and the Everetts gave her a place to stay. She had met Max Tilton and had already been warned against him. However, if he could help her find the treasure, she would let him.
Max Tilton had a bad boy reputation which he didn’t deserve. The townspeople thought his family knew where the treasure was since one of his ancestors had been the only survivor of the Burton shipwreck. That would be the only reason he had money to purchase a boat to take fishermen and birders out on the water. It never occurred to the townspeople that it was a small inheritance from his Grandfather which allowed him to purchase the boat. Max, however, didn’t really care what the townspeople thought unless it interfered with his business. When he met Kori, however, he now had a reason to regret his reputation. Could he convince Kori to overlook what people said?
As Kori and Max look for treasure, Kori begins to change her mind about Max and treasure hunting. That is, until her Mother showed up.
Like the first two, this book is really good and entertaining.

A cute story about Kori trying to find a new start and leave her past behind, especially since her only anchor, her grandmother, died. She runs out of gas in Treasure Harbor, finds a job, a place to live and Max all in one day. Kori would love to find the treasure to be able to leave her mother behind and start over again, only to realize that she can't run from her past forever.

The treasure that Kori found was not the gold she was hoping for, but for the love of Max and the forgiveness she was able to give to her mother.

Max gave her an engagement ring that was passed down through the generations with the initials CB on it. Could this be the ring that the pirate gave his lady: Camilla Burton?

Good story of forgiveness and fresh starts

Treasured Love was a good story of forgiveness and fresh starts. Kori arrived in Treasure Harbor trying to escape her past but it caught up with her. Max couldn't get away from other people's opinions of him until Kori gave him that chance. Exactly like the fresh start Jesus gives us when we accept him in our lives and seek forgiveness.

A sweet story about searching for the Treasure Harbor gold, and finding love as the greater treasure. Kori and Max learn to leave their past, to forgive others, and to trust each other. It's a sweet and fun read! But whose initials "C.B." are on her ring? You won't know the answer in this book,so it will tempt you to keep reading the series.

Kori and Max's story is amazing. Kori struggles to trust people. Watching Max help her to learn how to trust people is wonderful. Kori and Max's is truly special. You will feel God working throughout this whole book. This book deserves a higher rating than a five star review.

Forgiveness themed love story

Continuation of treasure Harbour series. Could not read straight away after book 2,as about a new character not connected with previous 2. Good read reminded of the feelings I had when I accepted Jesus.
